Breaking the siege

The moment that the Eradicator fired, there was a large booming sound that echoed in the vastness of space. This is the sound caused when full power is routed towards the Eradicator that when fired even causes spatial distortions around the fired rounds sent towards the enemy ships.

There were a total of twelve rounds following each other in succession wanting to cause death and destruction upon their enemy's with no mercy towards the unprepared.

The First shot impacted on the lead ship guiding the others into attack position, directly causing the ship to implode into millions of miniature debris, instantly leaving no survivors. The second and third shot break through the debris to penetrate right into the following ships that were still shaken form the sudden explosion of their lead ship.

Following the destruction of the next two ships caused the other to be aware of the incoming danger quickly approaching. The captains raised their shield and ordered evasion maneuvers to dodge the deadly rounds that easily break through all their defenses.

The remaining nine rounds hit ship after ship destroying them one after another, with only a few ships lucky enough to survive from one impact but with most of the ship disabled. In the wake of the Eradicator there are no operating ships in our path to break through the siege.

---------POV of Deep Blood Admiral--------

"What just happened, how many did we just lose?!" I roared wanting answers to the inexplicable amount of explosions that happened out of no where.

"S-ir, we just lost a total of twelve ships! Ten of which were completely destroyed and only two survived but are incapable of doing anything further." Stuttered the surprised Orc

"How many ships do we have left in that sector?" I asked

"There are seven ships left in the sector but facing that kind of firepower, they won't be enough." The Orc replied after look at the holographic screen for a moment.

"Send in reinforcments from the 3rd and 4th sectors, also prepare our ship for combat as we are going to intercept that ship!" I ordered those under my command, while grinding my teeth at having such losses from just one ship.

----------POV to Zen--------

"Master, the enemy fleet is sending reinforcements from the other sectors. Also the Deep Blood Capital ship is moving in our direction." ADP-01 informed me of the current enemy movements.

"Don't worry about that, our shield will hold against their firepower. Keep focuse on those seven ships still ahead of us and continue firing. Prepare the Coordinate signal for transmission the moment we break through to the other side, before the close the gap again." I ordered ADP before sitting back into the captains seat.

We continued moving forward while firing the Eradicator, which is firing much slower than from the first twelve shots. It now fires one round every forty-five seconds instead of one after the other. Some shots were unlucky enough to hit debris and explode before hitting the seven other ships blocking our path.

The Evanescent soon became within firing range of the enemy ship, which readily fired everything they had at us. Our shields easily withstood the assualt but still rocked the ship from the explosions.

Soon enough, the Eradicators rounds started to hit the enemy vessels again, making multiple ships exlplode into nothingness, leaving only anger and despair behind in its wake.

A few explosions later, our path was clear of enemy ships and we soon passed through all of the debris and onto the other side of the blockade where the large, blue ice covered planet of Nevinter stood. The moment we broke through; I had ADP-01 send the signal out for the Imperial Fleets to arrive at our location adn once they arrive we can get the hell out of here.

We burned a lot of energy and power to break through and if we needed to hold this position for long, we would soon meet a fiery end. Luckily, it shouldn't take long for the three imperial fleets to arrive and rescue the defensive Northern 35th fleet.

"Master Zen, we have a voice transmission coming from the planet!" ADP-01 informed with his mechanical voice.

"Play it!" I quickly stated.

"Thank you for breaking through and saving our asses down here. I had to bring my entire fleet into the planets atmosphere in hope of defending against the Dominion onslaught, with this Imperial reinforcements should arrive soon; I can't thank you enough for this." Said a Terran male that must be the Admiral of the Northern 35th Fleet.

That was the end of the transmission and closure to the beginning of the large battle that is soon to ensue.
