Orb Of Revelation

"Hey Lin, do you think he's alright" Nana sat next to Lin, "He's pretty young. His family practically disowned him."

"Yeah, poor kid." Lin responded.

Several body bags were brought out and laid on the ground, Jasper was nowhere to be found.

"We better get going, they'll be rounding up all the students for a head count." Lin got up and started walking away.

"Hey Lin, I need to tell you something." Nana said.

"What is it?" Lin turned back.

Nana put her hand into her pocket and reached for the book. "Oh nevermind. We should go now." Nana continued walking.

-----Scene 2-----

"Where's my son? My son!" A father ran into the crowd of students, looking for his child.

"Hey, what about your dad? We've been friends for years and I've never met your family." Lin asked Nana.

"Oh, that's right. Well, complicated family tree." Nana didn't want to talk about it.

"What's your family name again?" Lin kept asking.

"Zeym, Nana V. Zeym." Nana was getting uncomfortable. Lin took the hint.

"Mines Loyd." Lin responded.

"Nana! Lin! You're here!" Magi ran towards the two, "Oh my god I thought I lost you guys, come with me. They're doing role calls." Lin and Nana walked closely behind Magi, navigating through the crowd of students, but suddenly Nana halted. She was stood in the exact spot she had laid Lin's dead body during the eclipse.

"Argh!" She felt a sharp pain on her forehead. She reached for her head and felt the horn, she quickly covered it with her hair. As she looked up she saw the eclipse, the students all disappeared with nothing but the eclipse. She feels a presence approaching her.

"Students! Students! Your attention please!" Nana snapped back to reality as the principle called out, "Now I am aware that you've all heard of the accident that took place this morning, do not be worried. There are limited damages and class will resume tomorrow."

"We should probably go back to our dorms." Lin said to Nana.

"Yeah." Nana was still shocked from what she saw.

"Hey, I uh, need to go to the toilet." Nana broke off from the crowd and into the school. The school was eerieely quiet, no one was inside. The wooden flooring creaked as Nana walked through the halls. She entered the toilet and went to the sink.

"You can come out now, no need to hide." Nana looked down into the sink.

"How'd you even know I was here?" A voice said while chuckling, "Nana."

Nana looked up to the mirror and saw a woman in the reflection. "Who are you?"

"Could've atleast greeted me. Very well, I'll tell you." The woman was tall, pretty and had long thick black hair that reached her chest, "I'm Nota, but you can call me Mika. I'm sure you've met your familiar, Ignotus. I'm Vear's familiar."

"Why didn't the eclipse happen?" Nana took a step back away from the mirror.

"How do I know, your familiar chose to do so. You see, me and Ignotus are cut from the same cloth. We're practically siblings." Mika started laughing, "Oh it's truly funny, the familiar of time needs to buy time. The irony!"

"What are you saying?" Nana was confused, the lights started flickering.

"Don't worry, this timeline has been altered by Ignotus. I can't attack you. But I think you do want this." Mika pulled out a small orb, blue in colour, "An orb of revelation."

"What's that?" Nana clenched her fists, reading to fight.

"Woah, no need to be so tense, I told you, we're on different planes." Mika told Nana, "This is called an orb of revelation and it's used to unlock one's career technique. Getting this was quite a hassle, even with my creation technique I can't create an orb as fine as a real one. You want it don't you?"

Nana's eyes were fixated on the orb, reaching her hand out, almost grabbing it through the mirror. Suddenly, Mika's hand appeared from the mirror and pulled Nana into the mirror. "I've got you." Mika said slyly as she pulled Nana into the mirror.

The room was shaking and the flights blinking. Nana was pulled through the mirror entirely.

She found herself in a cave, familiar to that of Ignotus', but instead of water, it was blood.

"Aren't you just the little cutie?" Vear walked into the cave while clapping his hands. A weird darkness had now enveloped his entire body, revealing only his face and chest, "We had a small little altercation during the eclipse, but that got over written by your dear familiar Ignotus."

"Ignotus is my familiar?" Nana tried backing up from Vear but hands started to appear from the blood, holding Nana firmly on the ground, "What do you want?"

"Well, I want one simple thing." Vear walked towards Nana, "Ignotus. Hand over the book." Vear had his hand out right infront of Nana.

"You want the book?" Nana was confused.

"Do not give him the food." A voice spoke inside Nana's head, "It'll bring upon the end of the world." The voice sounded like Ignotus.

"Well if you want to stop him from taking the book then you should come out, stop hiding." Nana smacked her head, "Get out!" Moving her head sideways, as if water was stuck in her ear and she was trying to get it out.

"That must be Ignotus, don't listen to him. He betrayed his master is not worthy of having the title Ignotus." Vear explained, "Now, the book."

"No, I don't trust you, you did kill me." Nana didn't want to hand over the book.

"What a shame." Vear sighed, "Guess we'll have to do it the hard way." Vear shoved his hand through Nana's chest, grabbing her heart and pulling it out. The blood spilling onto the already blood soaked floor, though Nana didnt feel anything, she didn't react. Vear held it close to his head, still beating, "What a gentle heart." Vear licked the heart, Nana could feel a sharp pain now, when Vear licked the heart.

Nana was calm, she knew that in this cave, she couldn't be harmed. She remembered when she was in the cave with Ignotus, when she was cut, it healed instantly. She looked down at her chest and the wound had been completely sealed, only her robe sustaining damage.

"You could've just handed me the book and I could've settled everything without you being involved." Vear squished the heart gently. Nana started feeling a crushing sensation and fell to the ground, her back laying in the blood, "See you soon!" Vear laughed maniacally, clutching the heart and crushing it. Hands made of blood started to cover Nana, pulling her down into the blood, her screams muffled.

"Agh!" Nana fell out of her bed.

"Nana! Can you not scream in the middle of the night! We have to wake up early tomorrow!" Lin shouted at Nana, "The exams are tomorrow!"

Nana had shifted timelines once again.
