Chapter 3

She returned home and went to the dining area.Her blushing face and redish cheeks were very obvious.

Her parents both laughed at her shy face. " Someone is happy."

" So is that a yes?"

She ran upstairs while saying," I don't know."

"Admit it. It's written all over your face honey." Gong teased her .

She flopped on her bed and cuddled her pillows.

Her phone started to ring. She impatiently searched her bag then immediately answered her phone.

" Hello?"

" Have you reached your home?".

This familiar tone made her face blush even harder.

" How did you get my number?"

" It's a very easy job for me."

" Such a show off ."

She mocked his statement.

" Are you free tomorrow?"

Shiyi's heart started to pound fast with the thought of meeting him again.

" Let me think. I am free but not after 9 o'clock."

" Okay . I'll have you picked up. "

It was his manner of speaking he likes to order not ask , let alone request.

" Hey but where are we going?"

" I'm taking you out for dinner. Be ready by five."

She laughed," who said I agree?"

" Your blushing face ."

She gasped ," how did you.."

" Your voice is obvious Shiyi."

" Very funny ."

" Okay I'll stop teasing you. I'll have you picked up. See you ."

" See you."

She cut the call them tossed and turned all over her bed in happiness.

He touched his chest," I wonder why talking to her makes my heart ache."

Her frame was continuously coming in front of her. Both of them were head over heels in joy. This overwhelming joy and longing for each other sure was a new feeling for the both of them.

( at the hospital )

Shiyi is an inexperienced surgeon still seeking training under the best doctors of the country. A girl in a doctor's coat called out to her name as she got out of her car in the hospital parking lot. She was quite familiar with this tone, it can't be anyone but her. Her best friend Jiyan Xia , she works in the same department as her.

" Shiyi! wait for me!!"

She was never a punctual girl. She is an undeniable beauty and the hottest girl in the whole department . All the men around her literary drool over her. Shiyi smiles at her in a usual way while putting on her identification card around her neck.

" Aren't you too early today? "

Seeing her coming early is a rare thing , once in a life time.

" Stop beating around the bush b*tch and tell me how did it go with the guy ? "

She nervously smiled at her , " It was fine."

She teasingly tickled her , " do you want me to get it out from your mouth. it's so obvious that you like the guy. it's written all over your face ."

In the world of love they both were very new. Yet there heart was aching for each other .

*It's true I feel extremely nervous but it's not like I am going to marry him right away. So it shouldn't matter that much if I just have dinner with him."

" Shiyi!"

Stunned at her sudden call she looked at her totally clueless. She has been absent minded the whole day thinking about the dinner .

" I am very nervous."

" You look like it. By the way what was the guy's name again?" She said while taking a sip in her her coffee.

" It's Liyan Ruan." As soon she replied Jiyan Xia spitted all he coffee right over her dress. Her face turned pale and she became very unsteady.

She patted her back slowly because Xia was literally chocking and coughing. " Are you okay? What happened?" She gripped her hand and hastily asked her," is that Liyan Ruan as in the 'Liyan Ruan' ? "

The Ruan family has a great reputation in the public so it's obvious everyone is aware of the smallest piece of gossip about them. But something about her reaction was not right. It was not a surprising reaction. She screamed as if she were very anxious and freaking out about it!
