Chapter 2

Finally after bickering for a while Shiyi and Liyan both have up cause their parents are not someone who can be easily swayed.

" Fine . But I will only meet him." Shiyi replied in a stern face. She knew she had no other choice.

" But my answer will be no you guys better remember that."

Liyan made it clear that he is not interested in any sort of relationship long ago but his parents are not someone who can let this matter go that easily.

Later that noon. Shiyi and her family went to Ruan family estate . The door was opened by Ning Ruan and Li Han Ruan.

They all are very friendly. They have been family friends for many years. But Liyan and Shiyi never met each other .

" Such a beautiful girl you have Jing. You should've told us about her before."

All of them were discussing. Liyan and Shiyi were sitting against each other. Liyan completely focused on his phone and Shiyi was at the verge of falling asleep at that moment.

Then Gong and Li Han both out of nowhere decided to send them both to the garden for some fresh air.

Maybe it was better than the boring adult conversation.

" Take her out to the garden and have a chat Liyan."

" I don't think she's interested in any of that."

All of them looked at her. She was so sleepy that she didn't realize what was going around her. She kept her eyes open but from inside she was dying to sleep.

Looking at her Liyan exhales in pity. He took her hand and straight walks out.

This act stunned everyone. Cause so far Liyan has never treated any girl so gently.

He walked to the garden and Shiyi just followed him obediently.

They both sat in the benches.

She was whaling and squeezing her eyes.

" Thanks."

" I'm sorry?"

" Thank you for getting me out of that drama. It was so boring to hear them talking ."

He laughed a little ," you are right about that.

She raised her chin and looked at him. This is the first time their eyes made contact from the beginning.

His gaze froze at her . When she stood up and started to tie her hair with a band in her wrist.

Her log brownish hair was flowing all over her face in the fast breeze.

She was wearing a sky blue knee length dress. She was looking very average compared to all the women who work around Liyan. But her simplicity was attractive to Liyan.

She tied her hair then sat back in her position.

" It's a nice garden."

He didn't even listen to her . He was completely astonished at her beauty.

" Liyan?" She waved at him.

Suddenly he came back to his sense then nervously replied," sorry, I didn't notice."

She smiled at his nervousness." It's okay."

" So you are a surgeon?"

" Not yet. I'm still practicing. I don't need to ask about you. I mean who doesn't know you."

She was very nervous around him . Cause he was one of the most famous personalities in the country.

" Please don't be nervous."

" I am not."

" Good to hear that. Usually people around me can't even properly look at me.".

" I am going to be honest I am never scared of anything. Anything but roaches."

He laughed ." Roaches?"

" Yeah. They are terrifying."

" That's so silly."

" You know one time in the dorm...".

She kept taking and he silently admired her naiveness and beauty. She was not a immense beauty but her personality was unique.

They talked for a long time.

" So it's time to leave."

" It's a shame. You could've stayed longer."

" I have a shift at night. We will meet again sometime."

They didn't want to part.

She turned around and walked towards the car and before she could enter the car she turned around.

He said, " I want to meet you again." He had a different aura around him. His deep voice and dominating manner was very attractive.

She blushed then smiled at him." I do too."

He was very pleased at her reply. The signs of satisfaction was clear in their eyes.

She said that and entered the car.

He kept him eyes fix on her untill her car was no longer visible .
