Chapter 4

I patted her shoulder but she immediately gripped my hand asked about him not once but twice. At first I thought she was excited but her face didn't seem to be playful at all. She was concerned and a slight little scared. Before I could answer her back a nurse came down to the counter to call for me. Though I didn't want to end our conversation but there was something important I had to take care of.

" Are you feeling any pain ?"

The day was casual like any other day with the patients and medical issues. But what happened in the morning was stuck in my head as if it's going to eat me alive. Why was she behaving like that!? She kept ignoring me the whole day and running away from any conversations with me.

I didn't think it as an important issue cause Jiyan Xia sometimes likes to over react .

After my morning shift ended I walked back to the parking lot , just when I was about to open my door Jiyan Xia grabbed my arm. I flinched at her sudden appearance.

" Are you okay? You don't seem well Xia."

" I don't want you to meet that guy Shiyi you must not meet that guy ever again!"

I was very surprised at her statement...no it was more like an order of concern. She never behaves like this . She is the one who always pushed me to find someone I like or someone my type. And I really liked Liyan Ruan at the first meeting. I didn't think there was something wrong about him.

" Is everything alright Xia? What is wrong explain to me ?"

She sighed then again in her old pace ," come have coffee with me I will explain everything. I'm going to ask Jiashen to come over to he's around this road today."

She's talking about our other best friend. Jiashen Lu . We all have been friends since college. An unbreakable trio . He's a corporate worker so these days we don't have much time to hang out. But I thought it's a good occasion to meet my buddies . They always give me the best advise and courage.

I smiled at her and positively replied her ," yes sure let's go."

Across the block we met at a coffee house. Jiashen and Xia were quiet. They were taking a sip in their coffee totally not saying a word. Their breath and behavior is now making my skin crawl.

" Can you guys please explain the hell is going on?!" I asked them frustratedly.

" Do you even know who he is?" Jiashen asked me in his usual calm voice. He is more like a dense and deep thinker.

" He has a very bad reputation for being the most famous playboy. Are you sure you like him?"

" What are you talking about? I met him he didn't seem like that."

" The girls working in his office are all beautiful and sexy . They all lust over him and can even sell their body at his single request!"

" He is a very dangerous man Shiyi , he has a very bad reputation for being rude and ruthless. I don't think uncle and aunty knew about this that's why they told you meet him."

Listening to them my head went blank. I couldn't help but get very angry at both of them.

" I'm sorry Jiashen , Xia. I don't think you should judge anyone by rumors. I didn't think like this of you guys. Please grow up." I got up and angrily left them. My head was boiling with anger I don't know why but listening someone badmouthing him made me extremely mad!

( Ruan industry )

" Sir your meeting is in the conference room." Said Mian Gu. He's the closest person to Liyan Ruan. His privet assistant and manger.

" Hmm " a cold reply from the man of the area. The one and only son of Ruan family. He has a very dense , cold voice which can give the person in front of him a heart attack.

" Did you take care of the arrangements?"

" Yes sir, I will send a car to pick up your guest sir."

" No, you must go yourself. And keep in mind she is very special to me. Do not frighten her."

What will the outcome be of being a special person to the most fearful person in the country?
