Ylrza Ravenfolds, also known as the Heartless Heiress, was an enigma to the world. Born without a heart, she defied all scientific explanation and lived a life devoid of emotions, save for a few instances of tears when in pain. Happy? Ylrza couldn't even comprehend what that meant. But she forced a reply, "I'm happy," even though she knew it wasn't true.

Luri hugged her tightly, tears streaming down her face. "I love you so much, my child. Remember that," she sobbed.

Ylrza was taken aback. She had never felt her mother's embrace before. And as she hugged her back, she realized that tears were falling from her left eye. But why only from her left eye? She was so abnormal.

"What kind of question is that, my child? You're a natural human being, my child. You look just like me, you know," Luri said, trying to make light of the situation.

But Ylrza was more confused than ever. How was she able to communicate her thoughts to her mother? It was a mystery to her.

"Yes, my child, I can hear everything you're thinking. I'm so happy," Luri said, beaming with joy.

"How is that possible?" Ylrza asked, her voice devoid of emotion.

"Never mind about that now. Just go take a bath and come down for breakfast. You don't want to be late for your journey," Luri said, her voice soft and gentle.

Ylrza nodded and went to the bathroom, still trying to process what had just happened. Little did she know, her mother had implanted a brain transmitter chip in her, allowing her to understand Ylrza's thoughts and feelings.
