The Greatest Monarch

After an unexpected accident, the king of Zion went into a state of coma. The ruler should be the heart of his people but the truth was entirely different from this. The coma seemed more like a blessing for the people of Zion. They wished for this blessing to never vanish. Why? That was because if it did not vanish and if he died, the holy church would take over the kingdom and they would no longer have to serve under a trash king anymore. But after he woke up, something even better happened. The King has lost his memory, even his personality was completely rewritten. When the trash king came to know the wrong deeds he had committed earlier, it pierced into his chest like sharp arrows making him feel guilty beyond what words could explain. He decided to change the shape of his kingdom and become the strongest king ever with the help of the "system" he got! Will he be able to dominate the world? Will he be able to enjoy the luxurious life of a king? Those questions can only be answered when you read his story and dive into the world of fantasy! Note: This is a remastered novel of my previous novel. After I had to undergo surgery I could no longer write, which made people lose interest in my novel and I actually wanted to rewrite my novel too. There were many mistakes and loopholes that I wanted to fix so here I am... writing my novel once again.

Days Of Depression (II)

In the absolute darkness, both thieves walked looking all around despite being so careful... They end up bumping into each other just in front of Andrew's room.

(A/N: If you forgot one thief is Victor.)

"!?"

They both quickly turned around only to find that they both knew each other.

"You-!?"

They both said in one voice as they saw each other faces. One was Victor and the other was... Amy!

"Lord Victor... what are you doing here?" Amy asked with an awkward smile and nervousness in his voice while playing with her fingers.

"..." Victor squinted his eyes at Amy's question and calmly spoke, "Dont you think I should be the one asking you that?"

"Um... hehe?" That was all Amy could think of and so she just laughed awkwardly at which Victor just sighed.

"Don't even think about this Amy. I know his highness may have thought of you as a friend since you're the first person he interacted with but... that won't save you from his wrath."

"I- Lord Victor..." Amy slowly raised her hand and showed Victor the lunch box he prepared for Andrew.

Victor smiled softly looking at Amy "I see... but you know you might get punished right?" He patted her on the head like a father.

Amy could not help but smile at Victor's father-like touch "I know however if I could help his highness I surely am ready to die... especially when Sire is trying so hard to be a nice king..." She slowly looked up at him and smiled gently.

Victor got a vision of Lucia at her which made his eyes get a little teary, however, he instantly looked away to not show her that, however, Amy somehow managed to see the tears.

Amy knew Victor was still upset about Lucia's death, however, he could not do anything because if he got weak at that moment Andrew might never get out of his depression.

"Lord Victor... Are you mad at his highness for killing Lucia? Someone who is... I mean who was a daughter to you?" Amy was really quite brave to ask such a thing from someone like Victor.

Victor was surprised by the sudden question, however, he just looked at Amy and smiled before answering her.

"Well... his highness was the reason I ever met her, to begin with, and I liked her because she was close to him... if I have to choose between Sire and her I would without any second of thought would choose Sire."

Amy smiled at the answer and realized just how loyal Victor was to Andrew. She would not be surprised if Victor would go against the church for Andrew.

Victor sighed and shook his head "Alright I am not here to talk about someone who is already gone... give me the lunch box and I will go inside." He moved his hand to take the lunch box from Amy, however, she pulled it away.

Amy shook her head in no "Lord Victor you can not do that. I mean you can not go inside. You forgot Lord Oliver said that he was so angry he would have cut Lord Oliver's head if he stayed there a second more inside?"

Victor sighed once again "I know Oliver very well... he put more spices to the story. And even if it's true there is no way his highness will hurt me or can hurt me... I hope so at least."

Amy shook her head in a no very furiously like a child "No. Please do not take the risk. You are very important to the people of Zion."

Amy was just making excuses to meet Andrew by herself and if possible even feed him with her own hands.

Victor sighed and understood the fact that Amy was just making excuses instantly. He opened the gate for her and told her to go inside because he was too old to fight with a little girl over Andrew.

Amy smiled brightly and walked inside the room before closing the door "Are you asleep-?" She asked looking at Andrew. He was laying down on the bed with his eyes covered by his forearm.

Andrew was awake, however, he did not give any reply. He just wanted to be alone at that moment however at the same time, he felt like he wanted Amy to stay so to let her know he was awake he turned around.

Amy smiled and walked over to the bed. She got up on the bed after putting the lunch box fast and then crawled over to Andrew.

Andrew was hiding his face and the marks he got on his cheek and below the eyes because of so much crying and constantly being awake.

Amy poked Andrew's cheek and whispered in his ears "Good morning Sire~ wake up~" She knew that might get her killed, however, she took the risk for the sake of Andrew.

Andrew felt a weird shiver across his spine which made his whole body shiver a little starting from his head to his toes.

Amy chuckled and grabbed Andrew's shoulder to try to make him sit up, however it was useless. It was like a rat or rabbit trying to lift a lion or bull.

Amy used all the strength she had trying to make Andrew sit up, however, always failed. She panted a little and tried to make him sit up again however once again the result was the same. Even so, she did not give up and kept trying.

After countless attempts, Amy finally gave up and was sitting next to him with her back facing Andrew's back.

"Come on... Please just eat..." Amy said quietly and sadly looking down at the lunch box with sad eyes and expression.

Andrew suddenly sat up on the bed and hugged Amy from behind tightly and rested his head on her shoulder.

"!?" Amy was caught completely off guard which made her a blushing mess suddenly "Y-Your Highness!" She said loudly.
