Grimhild Vs Alice Part 2
Ms. Ilya cast a barrier to ward off the explosive attacks being created by Grimhild and Alice's fight. Each and every attack would explode parts of the arena and send debris flying about — destruction was quickly noticed by all the students who watched closely at their fight, amazed by their overwhelming talent.
Grimhild broke her seal in this fight, taking Alice and her ability more seriously than before. The witch was injured as they clashed their fists with one another, and so was Alice. Their faces were bruised and blood dripped from their lips while they smiled at one another, wanting to prevail in their fight.
"...So it has come to this moment." (Puchi)
Puchi was right next to Grimhild, her trusted figuration. He could see something going on with the witch of justice, noticing her seals slowly being broken, crumbling to smaller pieces inside her body.
"You followed the right path, and now your second, and third seal will be shattered." (Puchi)
No one could see or hear Puchi except Grimhild herself, still clashing with Alice, the witch underwent a transformation of unfathomable power.
"Woah, you're suddenly getting faster!" (Alice)
Alice was fighting Grimhild in hand-to-hand combat, noticing her speed amplifying even further than before. She could also notice Grimhild's eyes changing a different color for a moment — they went from black to red in the blink of an eye.
"...Haaaaaa!!!" (Grimhild)
Both of Grimhilds seals would shatter, and her overall power skyrocketed into a new league of strength.
One punch had broken Alice's arm, flinging the blonde-haired girl away and sending her straight through the stone wall unexpectedly.
"...Guaaaa!!" (Alice)
Alice took the full force of her attack, being sent straight out of the arena.
"I-Is the battle over?" (Golden Mage)
One of the mages inside Ms. Ilya's barrier was in shock as all the others, only staring at Grimhild in the sky, assuming she was the winner.
"No, it's far from over... Alice and Grimhild are about to step up their game. Mages of the gold division, I need your help to cast a more powerful barrier! Casting only one won't be enough to withstand their new attacks!" (Ilya)
"R-Really?" (Golden mage)
"You're kidding me, shouldn't we stop the fight then?" (Golden Mage)
"No... the rules are either defeat, or submission. The battle must wage on! Now cast your most powerful barrier magic, and enforce mine!" (Ilya)
Al the other students didn't hesitate and followed orders. They enhanced Ms. Ilya's already powerful magical barrier, now making it stronger than before.
"...Woww, I'm having tons of fun!" (Alice)
Suddenly behind Grimhild, she could hear a voice that even made her eyes widen.
"...You managed to sneak up behind me?" (Grimhild)
Grimhild turned her head to the side, eyeing Alice behind her who was smiling crazily.
"Sure did, how do you like it? I put two fingers on my head and I can instantaneously move anywhere! It doesn't require magic at all!" (Alice)
"...I see, well then." (Grimhild)
Grimhild momentarily disappeared from Alice's sight.
"Huh?" (Alice)
Alice looked around her confusingly.
"Let's see if you can handle this." (Grimhild)
Alice turned around shockingly, seeing Grimhild hold a massive blade inside her hand. The weapon had black particles linger around it, and then it would suddenly transform into a more giant sword with demonic flesh filling the blunt side of the blade, and a large rune at the base of its hilt.
"I call it [Savedesba], meaning The Final Epilogue. I created it during our fight, and its main purpose is to devour your dreams and powers you stole from other stories. Your gag-like powers and abilities, including that super Alice transformation of yours, are now reduced to nothing." (Grimhild)
"...You thought of a weapon to counter me in our fight? You really are something Grimhild, in that case..." (Alice)
Alice fully turned around and grinned.
"Let's see if it can stop this!!" (Alice)
Grimhild widened her eyes, noticing a foreign change happening inside Alice's body. She clenched her fists and her golden aura surrounded her body again, all while she yelled.
"...Haaaaaaaaaaa!!!" (Alice)
Grimhild didn't know it, but every single reader and every single person behind the 4th wall was giving her power, and fueling her. Alice couldn't die unless the readers stopped reading the story happening right now. She was unbeatable and unstoppable.
"MY POWER JUST KEEPS TRANSCENDING! MY ABILITY IS SO UNREAL!" (Alice)
Alice was happy while lightning sparked around her body, and her hair got even spikier than before.
"This is Super Alice 2!!" (Alice)
"It will take at least a week to fully understand what your ability is capable of fully doing... so I suppose we both are at a stalemate... unless something unpredictable comes in our fight." (Grimhild)
Alice smirked as her aura was overflowing with power.
"I suppose you're right... therefore I'll make that unpredictability come right now!!" (Alice)
Alice charged forward again, cocking her fists back as energy was brimming around her arm.
"...Wha—?" (Grimhild)
Was she stupid? Alice was throwing a right hook straight into the newly created weapon that Grimhild had just made. Surely it would negate her abilities and destroy her chance of obtaining newer ones.
"HII-YAAH!" (Alice)
Alice slammed her fist into the blade and an explosion rang out across the sky of multiple colors.
The students and Ms. Ilya all looked up, waiting to see what happened, but were blocked by a large black cloud in the sky, covering both Grimhild and Alice. If the students didn't help reinforce the barrier, they would all likely be blown away.
"...It's a..." (Golden Mage)
"Stalemate?" (Ilya)
Everyone gasped once the black cloud cleared away from intense winds, showing Grimhild with a fist in her gut, and Alice with another sword inside her body.
Alice managed to break the first [Savedesba] Grimhild constructed, however, she didn't expect another to come out of nowhere in Grimhild's other hand, and stab right through her shoulder.
Blood dripped from the sky onto the arena, and Grimhild squinted one eye in a bit of pain, laughing at their situation.
"Haha...ha, normally I wouldn't feel pain under any circumstance, but your ability seems to bypass that completely." (Grimhild)
"...Normally someone would always lose to me... but your intelligence managed to bypass that completely as well... hehe... I can't believe you have the skill to create something like this while during battle... you truly are scary Grimhild." (Alice)
"I suppose so... but I've read countless books and researched for hundreds of millions of years, so my intelligence comes from experience and studies. I can assure you that you have the power to completely kill me, and prevent me from ever coming back with your ability, but the same is said for me as well." (Grimhild)
Alice chuckled as she pulled her fist away, stumbling back and forth mid-air.
"...Wait, Alice, is losing balance!" (Golden Mage)
Alice closed her eyes and felt herself lose consciousness. She slowly fell from the sky as her body and limbs flung around, however, Grimhild managed to teleport underneath her, grasping the blonde girl. The blade in Alice's shoulder disappeared, and Grimhild slowly levitated down to the arena, releasing a sigh.
"[Renel]!" (Grimhild)
Grimhild used a spell from her [Justice Magic] meant to completely heal all wounds, even if someone was conceptually injured or on the verge of death. Alice's wounds were being restored together from a green light surrounding her body, revealing her eyes to slowly open once more.
"...Hey Grimhild..." (Alice)
Grimhild smiled at her comment.
"Are you okay?" (Grimhild)
"...Hehe, that was fun... but I could be better I guess?" (Alice)
Puchi appeared next to Grimhild slowly, looking up at her with a smile.
"Your other two seals have been broken, you're now more powerful than ever before. As a witch who's reached this level, the spill of your blood will corrupt your enemies and all who draw it from your body, turning them into black goo. No one would dare draw blood from you, as you're closer to reaching that of a Great Witch." (Puchi)
Grimhild used telepathy to speak to Puchi, curious about his words.
"How did I break two of my seals in battle? What was the cause of it?" (Grimhild)
"Your seals break when you've done something that Lady Maleficent deems worthy, and it's my job to create certain fates that Lady Maleficent may find entertaining, or intriguing, so that you may go through with them, and entertain her to the best of your ability." (Puchi)
Grimhild closed her eyes and frowned momentarily.
"So this is all a game to her, isn't it?" (Grimhild)
Alice cluelessly looked at Grimhild who was frowning.
"Huh? What's the matter Grimhild?" (Alice)
The witch shook her head back and forth, shaking off her annoyed feeling.
"It's nothing." (Grimhild)
The students all fell to their knees which broke apart their reinforced barrier, drained of using all their mana to keep themselves alive.
"...Whew it's finally over... that battle was intense..." (Golden Mage)
"So it's decided! The one who will be captain of the Golden Division is Grimhild Yorgana, and Co-Captain will be Alice Konohashi!!" (Ilya)
The students cheered as Grimhild walked down the steps with Alice, smiling at her victory. Alice was disappointed that she lost, but she had plenty of fun going all out, and it was all thanks to Grimhild Yorgana.
