The Goddess of Time

Asera Odinsdottir. The first daughter of Odin. She was gifted in not only the arts of a warrior but aswell as the use of magic. Of course, most of her prowess in the use of magic comes from her eyes that glow brightly green, and seem to hold the power of the cosmos. Follow her journey through Asguard and the rest of the MCU. The story is being rewritten as I didn't like how I wrote the previous version. I hope you enjoy the new and hopefully better version more. Also, I should note that this is a crossover universe. The universes are the MCU, Percy Jackson, Fate, and Harry Potter. I don't own the cover.

Oh You Sly Janitor

696 B.C - Asgard: Asera's Cell

Asera clicked her teeth, not knowing how to get out when Frigga had stopped visiting her, but the action caused the girl to feel something in her mouth.

Confusion marring her face, she spit out the object into her hand, finding a sharp, throwable needle.

Asera smiled, "Oh you sly janitor. Well then, if you wanted to make my escape this easy, you could have just broke me out on your own."

Asera looked through her transparent walls, trying to find the item the powered the bounded field. She knew that it could be powered by the ley lines in Asgard, but she didn't think Odin would want to waste so much ambient mana on her cell. After all, he expected her to be in this cell without magic for thousands of years.

After searching for a few hours, angling herself in wierd ways to try and see places she shouldn't be able to.

After a while, she had noticed the power source was a gem, placed on the roof above her cell. The girl sighed, not knowing how she could angle herself to throw the needle with enough accuracy and power to hit the gem and break it.

Asera also had the idea to try and knock the gem out of it's position and catching it, taking the energy from it to replenish her own, but she knew that would be many times more difficult to achieve.

The goddess spent the next few hours trying to figure out how to bounce the nail in a way that it would keep enough power to break the gem, struggling to stay awake in the process.

After having practiced for as long as she could, the goddess gave in and she plopped onto her bed, storing the needle in between her bed and the frame, not wanting anyone to walk into the dungeon and find it.

696 B.C - Asgard: Asera's Cell

The girl woke up, checking her death clock seeing that she had 2 days, 1 hours, and 43 minutes left until she faded.

She sighed, realizing she had slept for over 24 hours. She got back up, continuing her practice for the next hour.

She grabbed the needle, preparing to start her escape. She hadn't had perfect accuracy with her practice, but she got pretty close every time, and that was all she really needed.

So, the girl began to think about how to perfectly bounce the needle off of the wall to hit the gem.

Then, with her thoughts finished, she threw the needle, missing the gem, but hitting something far better.

She felt the bounded field stop working, so she used her limited physical abilities to climb onto the top of her cell, picking up the topaz that held all of the mana.

As she absorbed the mana from the gem, she felt both her magic and strength returning. She smiled in delight, stopping when she began to hear the footsteps of guards above her.

The girl would normally just use her 'Trofas' spell to teleport to the Bifrost and get back to Midgard, but she couldn't leave without Gáe Luvi. It may benefit her, but that was the possession she prized the most, to the point that her mentor had said she prized it more than her own life, which wasn't entirely off base.

Sadly, the girl couldn't use 'Trofas' to teleport to Odin's vault where she assumed he kept it, as she had never seen the inside of his vault and would most likely kill herself with the teleportation if she did it with her current knowledge.

The girl cast and invisibility and muffle spell on herself, watching as the guards inspected her cell, finding her missing. The guards spread throughout the dungeons, some going to the exit to try and find her outside of the dungeon.

Hopping down from the top of her cell, the girl rushed outside of the dungeons, no one the wiser as her spells concealed nearly all of her being. The only people who could probably spot her at this point were Odin, Frigga, and Heimdall. There might have been more if Asgard cared even slightly about magic instead of just being brutes.

The girl was broken out of her thoughts as she found Odin's vault.

Asera looked at the locked vault door before simply using a tenth of her magic to create a massive explosion at the vault. She knew she didn't have much time so she quickly rushed inside, looking for Gáe Luvi.

The girl searched the vault, eyes wide at all the treasures. She had never seen so many valuable things in such a small space, making the girl slightly distracted.

Then, she found it. Her spear was sent gently next to an item, not even getting it's own pedestal. Asera was slightly irked that Odin didn't deem her spear good enough for a pedestal, but quickly squished those thoughts.

Then, as the girl was running to exit the vault, she saw something she didn't think Odin could possess. The girl observed a blue box, glowing with mass amounts of energy.

The girl had a manic grin on her face, unsummoning Gáe Luvi now that she had it back, she quickly picked up the cube as she watched soldiers pile into the room.

The goddess smirked at them, before activating the cube, jumping through the blue portal it created behind her.

Then, before she knew it, the girl found herself sitting in her old mentor's castle, Scthach staring at her in shock.

"Hey Scáth, nice to see you." Asera said grinning as the portal to Asgard closed behind her unsummoning the cube and hugging her old mentor.

Scáthach appraised the girl, seeing that she was still wearing the clothing she had left in. Now though, the clothes were covered in soot and blood. Scáthach began to scold the young girl for getting into trouble unprepared.

Asera smiled, happy that Scáthach had been worried about her, and continued to let her mentor check up on her.

Sorry for the later chapter today, hope you enjoyed it anyways.
