The Goddess of Time

Asera Odinsdottir. The first daughter of Odin. She was gifted in not only the arts of a warrior but aswell as the use of magic. Of course, most of her prowess in the use of magic comes from her eyes that glow brightly green, and seem to hold the power of the cosmos. Follow her journey through Asguard and the rest of the MCU. The story is being rewritten as I didn't like how I wrote the previous version. I hope you enjoy the new and hopefully better version more. Also, I should note that this is a crossover universe. The universes are the MCU, Percy Jackson, Fate, and Harry Potter. I don't own the cover.

A Call to Infinity

696 B.C - Castle: Scáthach's Workshop

Asera sat down the blue cube tenderly, as if it was about to break from the slightest touch.

Scáthach observed the cube, using her better knowledge of magic to try and see if she could decode the cube. The reason Asera wasn't doing it, even though she knew far more fields of magic than her, was because Asera's theoretical wasn't nearly as far progressed as Scáthach's own.

"The person who created this cube is truly a master of their craft. It somehow easily combines both high level thaumaturgy and some of the most advanced technology I've ever seen." Scáthach said, eyes wide with wonder at the object her apprentice had shown her.

"It's a wonder that someone could even possible make something to contain an infinity stone, even if the cube still leaks the infinity energy."

Asera nodded to Scáthach's observation. She knew that the infinity stone was inside, after all, both Scáthach and Circe had grilled the knowledge of the highest powers in the universe to her.

(A/N: Before you ask, no, Asera and Scáthach do not know about the Cosmic Beings, or The One Above All. They simply believe the Infinity Stones to be the highest power of the universe.)

"This isn't very good. This is the second Infinity Stone that is on Midgard. The second people find out the even one of them is on Midgard, this planet will be a breeding ground for war." Scáthach mumbled, concern marring her features.

"Wait, there's a second Infinity Stone on Midgard? Where? I should have long since sensed the stone if that's true" Asera said, confused that she couldn't sense it, even now that she was trying.

"The Masters of the Mystic Arts are in possession of the stone. The original Sorcerer Supreme made an incredibly impressive device that blocks about half of the stones energy. The other half is blocked by a massive amount of wards over the area where it's being helf." Scáthach said, not really paying attention to what she said, after all, she was absorbed in studying the cube.

For some reason, Asera didn't like the idea of the stone being blocked away. Though she couldn't really figure out why, after all, she was looking at a stone that was currently locked away and felt nothing.

696 B.C - Castle: Asera's Room

That night, Asera began having an odd dream. The girl stood in a circular room, a pedestal at the front. She looked at an odd eye shaped artifact, standing there, and she felt a calling towards it.

The girl began walking, something she knew made this dream even weirder, towards the eye.

As she approached, the eye opened, showing the item that called towards her. Asera observed the object, a green, stone like object she recognized instantly.

"An Infinity Stone." The goddess mumbled, not knowing which one it was. After all, not even her mentors knew what colors were did what. The only reason she knew to grab the cube back on Asgard was because it was an Infinity Stone, and it would have been an extreme help in escaping, Space Stone or not.

She took out the stone, holding it gently in her hands. For some reason, when she held the stone, she felt complete. She had never realized she felt so empty before, yet when she held the stone, it was as if a part of her had returned to her.

Then, the dream ended and the girl sat up in her bed, the empty feeling she never knew she felt returning, causing the young goddess to frown.

The girl sighed, not liking the feeling one bit. So, she got out of bed, getting dressed, and realized that it was still night time. The girl's internal clock telling her it was 1:27 AM.

She left her room, going for a stroll through the castle, not liking how dark and dreary it was at night, but the girl had nothing better to do, so she soldiered on.

"You know, if you keep showing up without warning, one of these days I'm going to stab you." Asera said, chuckling slightly. The man she spoke to was of course, the janitor who had helped her escape her little imprisonment.

The man chuckled as well, observing the girl. "You took Odin's Infinity Stone? Well then, 'She' will be happy about that. After all, I assume that means you've started to blossom."

Asera nodded, not even trying to question who 'She' was this time, after all, it hadn't gotten her anywhere the last times.

"Well, I take it you didn't come to simply check up on me, so what is it you wish to speak of." Asera asked, intrigued at how often she had seen the man recently.

"What? Can't I just check on you when I want to?" The janitor asked, acting hurt at her accusations.

"Did you?"

"..."

"..."

(A/N: ...)

"Fair point. Anyway, I came with a warning. I wouldn't recommend you go after the stone to soon. If you do, there are many things that could happen, most involve lot's of pain. But who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and assimilate properly even without you're body having been exposed to Infinity Energy for more than a day."

"So you just want me to stay here, this empty feeling inside me for a while?" Asera asked, not to happy about doing that.

"You went so long feeling empty, are you saying you can't handle a few more weeks?"

"Well, I didn't realize I felt empty then. Now that I've felt complete, even for a brief moment, I may want to stay feeling like that."

The janitor sighed, "Well, I gave you my warning. 'She' should be happy about that, though I do wonder why I continue doing her so many favors, getting nothing in return."

(A/N: *Whistles innocently*)

"Oh right. Well, time, it was nice, but I have a writer to go smack over the head a few times." The man said, before Asera blinked and he was no longer there.

Shaking her head slightly, the girl simply walked back to her room, wanting to try and get some more sleep.
