Plans For Moving Forward:

Genesis March 10th, 0001:

I already knew that the only path forward right now was to start creating a vegetable and fruit farm that would eventually be able to feed the future generations of the settlement, but for that, I needed tons of knowledge that I didn't have right now, thankfully I had saved up 185 RP ( I got 65 RP when he finished building the settlement) and although it did hurt to spend RP I knew that it would only make the RP useless if I didn't use it to advance.

As I held the pocket watch in my hand getting ready to make my purchase before I suddenly stopped and decided to just admire it for a change, after all, although I had always been using it as a mere tool it was still the only thing my family left me, so it felt wrong to not at the very least take a moment to admire it.

I had never noticed that next to the roman numerals of the pocket watch there were the initials of all of my close family members, I wonder what they think of me now, I wonder if they feel the same regrets I feel, it was depressing to know that I would probably never join them, not after what I did before this, the blood I shed due to my fear of death, regardless I knew that what was done was done and entered the store.

Things went as usual and I only just noticed the fact that all of the section was connected, in the sense that in the division between all of the sections one could find closely related books, for example, when I had to get both the basic farming knowledge and the basic nutrition knowledge I found that the basic nutrition knowledge was basically right next to the agriculture section within the education section.

Before I purchased the knowledge though I stopped and laid on the floor and began to think about what I could start working on right now, after all, I had sort of run out of a plan after I established the settlement and kind of got lost thinking about the future I wanted to create, so I decided to stay here for a while and think about what I should do moving forward since this was the only quiet place I could find that was actually safe.

Since I knew that I would basically be relying entirely on the system's knowledge, I decided to use its knowledge sections to base future advancement plans on. In total there were [Education], [Agriculture], [Science], [Machinery], [Construction], and [Culinary Arts] of which two things seemed to be wrong.

For one the fact that the culinary arts knowledge was not located under education and was simply its own section, which although weird was just that an odd choice, the second thing, on the other hand, worried me a lot more mainly because I couldn't see a section dedicated to medicine which felt like it would be a lot more deserving of its own section than culinary arts.

At first, I thought that it was just another odd choice and that it was probably just found under science but when I looked I couldn't find any medical knowledge regarding drug making, surgical procedures, or even other treatments with the only knowledge I could find that was remotely close being human anatomy.

After a little more thinking though I realized that when it came to production and procedures it was probably found under the education section but once I looked for it there was still nothing other than knowledge on personal hygiene in order to avoid contracting diseases and other less important knowledges relating to preventing contracting disease.

Unwilling to believe that there was truly no knowledge on medical practice and medical drug-making I began searching every section of the library to find anything relating to medical practice and drug-making but it was all for naught as even after looking twice I found nothing regarding what I was looking for.

Usually, I would have just called the system and asked it what was going on but I knew that it would just be a waste of time as it would probably just tell me that it did not offer that knowledge and that I just needed to figure it out myself or something along those lines, plus since I didn't need the knowledge right now I could just leave it for later.

After that, I just lay on the floor and looked at the wooden roof of the library, and began thinking of what I could do moving forward. Regarding Agriculture, Science, Machinery, Construction, and the Culinary Arts I could genuinely do nothing about it mainly because for any of the knowledge that is found in those sections to become useful they would have to become common knowledge for everyone else.

It was then that it suddenly hit me that I wouldn't be able to do anything of any that would actually advance the settlement as a whole until I got everyone else to be able to speak and communicate their ideas with each other meaning that I should just focus on getting them started right now and actually teach the future generations normally.

After some thinking, I decided to just start naming things and repeating what they are called every time I see them while pointing at them, for example, if I per say had a lemon in my hand I would walk up to everybody and point at it while saying its name which although odd would eventually lead them to associate the word with the object.

So now with a solution in hand, I went back to buy the basic farming knowledge and basic nutrition knowledge for 78 RP altogether before going back to the settlement and finally leave my home to set my plan in motion, it seemed that I had lost track of time while I was inside the library though as when I checked my pocket watch it was already 11:47 AM.
