Chapter 2

The two of us just talked about what happened in our lives, the hours passed and it was now 1 P.M.

*Stomach rumbling* "Hmm.. You're hungry, just wait and I'll cook something to eat." I said.

"Ah..hehe.. Alright brother Shawn, thank you." Eunice said as if embarrassed.

F A S T F O R W A R D

We have finished eating, and are currently hanging out in the living room. The two of us were just watching the news when suddenly someone called Eunice.

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

"Look who's calling." I said.

Eunice took out her cell phone and checked who was calling her.

"Mom." she says.

"Oh answer the call maybe that's important."

"Just wait brother Shawn, it'll be quick, I promise."

Eunice left the living room to answer her mother's call.

A few minutes passed and Eunice still didn't come back, so I went to see her. I was almost where Eunice was when we suddenly ran into each other. Eunice was pale and hurried when I saw her.

"Brother Shawn, I'm leaving." Eunice said.

Before I could answer, Eunice suddenly walked away.

'What happened? I'll just ask her when she visits again.' I said in my mind.

I was back in the living room, about to turn off the TV when I was suddenly stopped by the broadcaster's mention of a familiar name.
