Mysterious figure

Reaching his dorm room, Reo removed his keys from his pocket, inserted them into the lock, turned and then gently pushed the door open. On entering, he observed Micheal laying comfortably with a broad grin on his face.

"I gather your date with Aurora went as anticipated?" Reo queried, to which Micheal, sitting upright, responded, "It proceeded far better than predicted. We explored various locations before finally settling at the Lantern Restaurant."

Incredulously, Reo responded, "Impressive! I've heard securing a spot at the Lantern Restaurant is nearly unattainable due to the perpetual lengthy queues."

Michael nodded, explaining, "Indeed, that was an obstacle, which led to my decision to arrive ahead of the date to endure the waiting line. Despite the incredible monotony and the extended duration involved, I was eventually admitted to the restaurant, where I made the reservation."

"Indeed, it appears your experience was exceptional," Reo remarked, preceding Micheal's question, "where have you come from – the library?"

"Actually, no," Reo responded, then stated, "I visited the girls dormitory to meet my sister Amelia."

Micheal expressed doubts, "Is that possible given the school decrees against boys entering the girls dormitory and vice versa?"

Reo affirmed, "You're right about the rules, however, I persuaded Charlotte."

Interrupting him, Micheal teased, "Ah, I should've guessed. With your striking hair and remarkable eyes, you definitely captivate attention."

He continued, "I must admit, I'm rather jealous. You've certainly been blessed with some incredible features that seem to be irresistible to the ladies."

Reo expressed his skepticism, stating "I highly doubt that," prior to mentioning that Michael had bought some food. He emphasized that the food was on the table and that it should not be forgotten. Reo gratefully acknowledged this and proceeded to the bathroom for a shower.

After his shower, Reo changed into a pair of shorts and a blue button-up shirt. He then made his way to the kitchen to consume the food that Micheal had brought back from the restaurant.

Once he was finished eating, he turned off the kitchen lights and ascended the ladder to his bunk bed, where he began to meditate.

Upon awakening, Reo observed the starlit sky and the moon, soaring towards a muffin shop on the precipice of either a sale or demolition. Hovering above the location, he spotted a man outfitted in a black top hat adorned with a purple flower, a harmonized black and purple tuxedo, and purple herring shoes. The man's black eyeglasses and black long hair added to his intrigue. Wondering about his identity, Reo drifted closer.

"I'm aware you're present," the enigmatic figure addressed him, zeroing onto Reo's ethereal form. Upon hearing these words, Reo scanned the vicinity, questioning if the address was for him.

"Indeed, it's you. Your presence is camouflaged, but I sense your existence. Identify yourself. Are you employing a unique ability?" the man queried. Without warning, he brandished a sword, launching an attack at Reo's floating location.

Taken aback, Reo promptly vacated his spectral form, pondering the identity of the man shrouded in mystery.

As Reo sat in the obscurity, he reflected on the conversation between Crystella and the obscure individual. It was now apparent to him, having finally the ability to consider the evidence, that the king had perpetrated numerous atrocities. The first being the vanishing of Michael's family, closely followed by Luna's death and disappearance. After meticulously piecing together the facts, he reached a disturbing realization: the king had eliminated Luna after she chanced upon the existence of elemental gods. It seemed plausible Michael's family had met a similar fate.

On further contemplation, an understanding dawned on Reo – elemental gods weren't mere folklore, rather they held tangible existence. They served as the embodiment of various elements. For instance, the elemental god of light, as described by Crystella, symbolized angels, hinting at their actual existence. Overwhelmed with this newfound knowledge, his day of learning drew to an end as the alarm struck, rousing Michael. As Reo descended the bed via the ladder, he went about his usual morning regimen.

As Reo exited the dorm, he paused to greet Charlotte with a morning salutation. Upon opening the door, his gaze fell upon a sky illuminated by a myriad of stars and the moon. He muttered a disdainful remark about hating this so-called 'curse' whilst strolling down the streets in the company of Michael, before reaching the school gate that was already ajar. He advanced through the entrance and strolled down the hallway which led to his classroom.

Upon arrival, Aurora acknowledged Reo, her attention then diverted towards Michael. With a blush tinting her face, she timidly wished him good morning. Michael responded with an affable 'good morning' to Aurora, a broad grin plastered on his face. Intrigued by this interaction, a group of girls questioned what had transpired between the two characters. Ignoring the inquiries, Reo proceeded to ascend the flight of stairs to his desk, extending a cordial 'good morning' greeting to Amelia and signaling her with a wave.

Post an exhausting day of lectures, Reo made his way to the residential hall, eager to discuss his recent findings with Alice. He strolled through the hallway that led to the library entrance and upon opening the door, spotted Alice. She was seated alone at a desk, with two glasses of tea nearby.

"You've arrived right on time," Alice greeted as Reo pulled out a chair situated opposite her. Settling down, he initiated the discussion, "Let's now proceed with our conversation."
