Be A Good Girl
Flick the blade using his index and thumb finger, the spear shake a bit and make Rachael lost her balance before she could stabilize her stands.
"You look like you have gained your energy. Then, let's go to the next training." He stands up and fixes his collar a bit.
The small impact from just his flicker makes Rachael tilt her head a little. Wondering. 'Just how much he put the pressure on his fingertips to make me stagger like that only by one flick?'
"Hey..don't space out there. Follow me." He already opens the portal inside the room.
Back to earth, Racheal looks at him with seriousness. "Where are we going this time?"
"Training."
"No. I need a specific location. Yesterday you almost kill me. I don't want to make the same mistake again. A burnt child dreads the fire." She growls and glare at him. She doesn't care even though he is her teacher.
Her life is on the stake, of course, she needs to know where they headed this time.
Chuckles a bit, he looks at her with a smile. "You really…dare to raise your voice at me, huh? No fear at all."
Rachael stands still without move an inch.
"Okay, okay..we're going to a desert. It's to train your physical strength. Yesterday I put you to the cold place, so, today I want to see if you could survive this place."
"And you gonna leave me with nothing, again?" She guessing.
Nod his head, he says "Of course. What's the use of physical training if I give you an easy way?"
Rachael thinks his reason for a moment. It makes sense. It's training to strengthen her body. So she needs to deal with the worst possibilities that could happen. Nod her head, she strides to the portal. "Let's go then."
Heath smiles looking at her before he follows behind her. Like what he says, they ended up in the desert where there is nothing at all except the hot sand and sun.
"I give you six hours to find the nearest town. I will be there. You have to navigate yourself and oh…" He took out a flask and throw it to her.
"This is the only water for you to drink. Be careful with the sandworm. They bite."
He then opens a new portal before he leaves her all alone in a desert with only a flask of water. Well, at least this time he did give her something.
She deeply sighs before she looks around her. "Now, let see if I can use this suit Zoro made for me."
After surveilling the area, she raises her right arm and touches the panel on it. Searching for a function that available in this suit. She scrolls and scrolls.
"Oh? He put some function to cover my body from the heat..good choice, my love." She activated the function and start to walk again.
In her training days back in her world, she had a similar experience with this situation. Except she was still guarded by her father's team to make sure she is safe wherever she is. So, this is the right time to use her experience and intelligence in a real battle, right? Challenging her limit without any help like before.

A few hours earlier.
"Why are you late, Ning Zhi?" Azure looks at her with his long face and both of his arm folding on his chest.
"Uh…I went to find my friend. She's been MIT since yesterday." She lowered her head and play her edge of hair with her finger. She looks just like a child who doing wrong and gets caught by her parents.
"Is it my problem then if your friend went missing?" He still feels a bit mad. She dares to say he's a gay and 'Zoophilia' and now she looks like she forgot how pissed off he is yesterday?
"I'm sorry, Azure. She's my important friend that I can't just ignore it." Ning Zhi still feels a bit sorry for being late though. It's not her intention to come late, but she had to run to a few places just to find Ning Zhi.
"Hmph..so today, we should go and visit my friend. Since you're late, you need to feed those beasts first before we set off. We might be returning late today." He said and went back inside his house. Yes, he lives in the forest and not like other teachers who stay in their fancy house. He likes to stay close to nature. It's also easy for him to do his research.
Ning Zhi bit her tips of a finger while looking back at a few animal shed behind her. Yesterday, she only help Azure to feed them from afar and now…she had to do it alone just because she's running late?
'Uhhh…this is so unfair. My forehead still hurt and yet he wants to torture me again.' She whining inside her heart. However, she still took the bucket filled with the meat to feed those animals before they set off.
"Don't look, don't look. It just a normal lump of meat…" She tries to convince herself to not looking inside the bucket. Worry that she might throw up again once she saw it. While her heart already feels uncomfortable like its gonna burst up. Her eyes were almost teary a bit. She's really afraid of a rat. And in this world, their rat a big as an adult cat! Not only that, but Azure also uses it to feed his animal!!
From the window, Azure peek at the girl who went to feed the animal. Her face looks like she really gonna fall sick. Her wobbling legs and her pale complexion confirm it. However, she still manages to feed all of them.
Seems like the animal in this place also starting to recognize her and did not throw any tantrum anymore like the last time. Maybe those animals already acknowledge her as a phoenix, and that is why they calmer and a bit behave than before.
He then took his jacket and went out of the house once Ning Zhi has done feeding them. "Ning Zhi, let's go."
He calls her and snaps his finger to call his animal girlfriend again. It not a real girlfriend. It just that Pegasus really attaches to him and only allows him to touch her. She also needs to be ride every once a week or she will go sulking. Her behavior just like a girlfriend that needs attention from her man.
"Phoebe babe, I need to visit Igor. Will you send me and my student there?" He pats gently on her nose and her head before he lightly scratches under her jaw.
Grunting, she looks at the girl before she growling again. She looks displeased with the girl who already smirks a little seeing how he treats his animal girlfriend. Obviously, maybe she develops a fit of jealousy feeling toward her.
"Phoebe… you're my girl. Be a good girl, okay?"
Ning Zhi at the side feels nausea to heard it. 'Oh come on! And that's what you call you didn't have a weird taste? Obviously, you're denial about being Zoophilia.'
"Don't start Ning Zhi. Or I really gonna punish you again." Azure snapped his head to her and warn her with a serious look.
'Crap! Did he just read my mind???!' She looks a bit surprised and then she clear her throat a bit.
"No..no I wasn't saying anything."
"Uh-huh? You think I'm dumb?" Azure still pissed off with her.
She shakes her head. Not wanting to put him into more rage. One thing is because she doesn't want to get punished again. It's hurt. And yesterday also he warns her that if she still thinking he is gay or Zoophilia, he gonna prove it to her in a way where she couldn't get up anymore. Hearing those make her having goosebumps. Isn't that some misleading word he uses to threaten her?
Azure ride at the Phoebe's back and he extended his hand to Ning Zhi. "Let's go."
Take his hand, they take off riding the Pegasus in the air before Azure opens the transportation portal on the sky.

At the Onyx Kingdom, forbidden mountain.
"Zoro..what is this thing's name again?" Kei asks while sitting silently at the side of that man.
"Hm? I call it rover. It easy to use in the forest. After all, they already had a trail for us to use." Zoro said to him while driving a land rover he creates.
"Where did you get this idea of creation?"
"Uh…well.." Zoro scratches his temple a bit. How should he explain to him that these technologies already imply in his world? Even he didn't remember how a car is made, but to draw it is quite easy for him.
"Let say…I'm quite creative and innovative?" He knows this doesn't answer Kei's question at all. But he had no choice too. He can't reveal anything to him.
"Well…very secretive huh?" Kei scoff a bit. But he did not blame him. He knew Zoro must be from somewhere far away. Somewhere that there is so much wonder he can't imagine it.
"I'm sorry, master Kei." Zoro tries to apologize. He knows Kei must be a bit offended by his way of answering his question.
"That's okay. Your innovation cannot be copied by others, so you need to destroy it once you've done using it. You got me?"
"Hm? Why? I mean, it could be so much use in the future."
"No. It can't be exposed. We still far away from your imagination. If your tech collides with us, there'll be so many issues to answer. Let it flow with itself."
"I understand. Thanks, Master Kei, for trusting me."
