What We Call Tech

The next morning,

Ning Zhi starts to feel anxious when Rachael didn't return to the dorm the whole night. This morning she thought of wanting to go to Combatant Department first and go looking for Rachael before she went to meet Azure in the forest behind the school.

Just when she entered the Combatant Department, her eyes grew wider and she's quite surprised to see most of them is man, of course, good looking too.

'This is so unfair, why this world is full of ikemen? Why?'

While she ogling the guys, suddenly she bumps with one of them in the hallway. He looks at her and tilts his head a bit. He never saw this girl. Is she also new here?

"Sorry." Ning Zhi immediately apologizes for bumping into him. It's her fault after all. Her mind is full of ikemen figures until she didn't see what's in front of her.

"It's okay. But, um..who are you?" Agil, try to look at her when she keeps lowering her head.

"Uh…I..actually, I want to find someone. Um..do you know any student named, Rachael? She just enters here." Ning Zhi slowly looks up at the man in the face.

"Oh…so..handsome.." She mumbling slowly with a grin in her face.

"Pardon?" Agil, turn his eyes elsewhere. He could feel the burning on his cheek.

"Oh..nothing..sorry." Ning Zhi lowered her head back while bit her bottom of lips. Knowing that she slips her word. It's not like she was struck by love. No. It just she really enjoying to see hot guys in front of her eyes. It is something that she doesn't get a chance to experience it in her world.

One is because she is a nerd. Second, is because she is plain. According to what her friend telling her. And lastly, because she is invisible, not many hot guys see her. Even if they see her, they all only want to copy her assignment and ask her to do their task.

Different from this world, she could tell that most of the man in here are all gorgeous, kind and they will look at her like she is some kind of beautiful. Oh wait, did they actually look at her because she is an unknown breed? That is…the same meaning as she's a weirdo, right?

"Ah..about the girl you said, Rachael. She is not here today. I heard that she's in the Medical department. Maybe you can find her there." Agil said politely after he clear his head from the bizarre word he just heard before.

"Oh, really? Hmm..thanks." Ning Zhi bow her head and went back to the portal gate. This Academy is connected by a portal gate in every department.

They just need to set their destination in mind and step into it. The portal gate is like their transportation to each department and only connected inside the Academy.

"Agil..who is that girl?" Mai, Agil's girlfriend ask him when she spots him with a girl before. A girl that she never saw. Is she the one that they call Rachael? The rumor said that the girl is quite beautiful and she is also doesn't seems like a wizard or fairies.

"Huh?" He turns to look at Mai. She is one of the top strategists in combatant class. She also is fiery and quite obsessive toward him. But, that makes him love her. "She's looking for her friend." He replies with a smile on his face.

"Friend? Who?"

"Rachael. A new girl I told you before."

"Hmm…why is she asking you?"

Chuckles, he pats on her head. "Because she bumps into me. If it were other people, she will ask that person the same question too. Don't overthink it."

"But, yesterday I heard they say you were with the girl named Rachael. And I still not seeing her until today, you see. Are you sure you're not hiding something from me?"

"Pftt…Mai..you know what?" He smiles widely and looks at her eyes.

"What?"

"I love you."

Blushing, she turns around and ready to leave him. "Mmm..whatever." it was so unfair for her. Just one word can make her shut her mouth and fly high in the cloud. And Agil really loves to use this trick to stop an argument. For him, if there is something not important to argue to, he would rather say it many times.

Medical Department.

"Uhm..excuse me, may I know if there is a student named Rachael here?" Ning Zhi tries to ask one of the students in this department.

Different from Combatant, this department is full of girls. Yeah..they're beautiful too. Too shinning that almost make Ning Zhi blind for a moment.

"Hm? Never heard of that name before, but maybe you can try to ask the administrator staff in that building." One girl shows her a building behind the open hall.

"Oh..thank you." Ning Zhi nods her head.

"Sure."

Once the girl leaves her, she sighs for a moment. Knowing that she might get punished again by Azure because she is now late to go to meet him. Azure did not have this grand kind of department.

He stays inside the forest and his student only consists of five people. However, she never sees one. Azure said that all of his students are now going on studies outside of the Academy and some of them are going to hunting and treat the beast at the border.

That only left her and that stupid Azure to play around inside the forest. She then hurriedly went to the administration building that the girl from before said.

Lucky for her finally she found Rachael. She has been there since yesterday according to the staff. Looking at the girl which is now still sleeping, Ning Zhi let out a sigh of relief. At least, she is safe now.

She put the wrapped bag and leave a note on it at the side table before she leaves the medical department.

Late at afternoon,

Rachael slowly woke up and sit up on the bed. She feels her head was so dizzy and heavy. Her body felt a bit sore and she tries to collect all of her memory from yesterday.

After some time, she gasps a bit when she recalls what happened.

"Good, you're still alive huh?"

Rachael snapped her head to the man who suddenly speaks up at the corner of the bed. She didn't notice there is another person inside her room.

"Where am I?" She asks with her hoarse voice. She feels her throat a bit dry, she then looks at the side table and found a wrapped paper with a note on it.

"I think it's from your boyfriend," Heath say and went to pour the healing tonic in a glass before he handed it to her.

She just glares at him but still took the glass and drink it before she put it on the table and take the wrapped paper after that.

The note on it says: 'I'll be off for a few days. Take care and this is the special gift I made for you. P/S: I LOVE YOU.'

Rachael's lips curled up a bit before she moves the note from the packages and opens the gift.

"Hmm..seems he is someone important to you huh?" Heath still initiating to talk to her. He then took a seat in front of her while watching her open up the gift.

Once the gift revealed, Rachael shriek happily. "Ahh!!!"

"Is he fucking kidding me? Oh my god! I love it!"

Heath jolts his body a bit when Rachael suddenly shrieking like crazy. Her face looks so happy with the weird clothes in her hands. Even though it might be similar to her suit yesterday.

"What is that?" He asks curiously.

"This is what we call tech. I love it." She immediately gets off from the bed and went to change her white robe. She can't wait to check it out. What that guy has designed for her. Even though their resource in this world might be limited, but at least he manages to make something useful for her.

Once Rachael has done changing her attire and went inside the room back, she looks at Heath and says "How do I look?"

He blinks his eyes a few times. Try to find a suited word for it.

"Wow..you look like…impolite girl dressing so tight like that. Aren't your skin feel hurt?"

Rachael's jaw almost drops to hear his comment. She then rolled her eyes and grab one small rod attached to her waist.

Take it off and turn the button.

Zingg!!

A two sharp edge spear extends from the small rod and Rachael twirl it before she shoves the spear blade right at Heath's throat.

"Cool, right?"
