The Death of the Old Gods and the New and the Rise of the Nine Divines and the one

The World of Ice and Fire

Realm of the Gods

narrator POV

In the Realm of the Gods, an ethereal plane where divine entities and spirits reside, a fierce conflict has erupted between the deities hailing from different cultures across Essos, Westeros, and other unknown lands. This once-beautiful realm, where gods held sway over the fate of mortals, has been torn apart by a brutal war.

Throughout the ages, the gods have battled for supremacy over each other, with each era seeing a new pantheon rise to power. In the ancient empire of Valyria, for example, the Valyrian gods were the most influential deities, while in the present day, the Seven and the Old Gods hold sway in Westeros, and the Lord of Light R'hllor reigns supreme in Essos.

However, this day marks the end of the gods' existence in both the spiritual and physical worlds. The true gods have arrived to put an end to their reign, and the reckoning has begun.

It is important to note that many of the so-called "gods" in this world are not true deities, but rather powerful souls who have taken on the mantle of a concept or belief held by mortals. For instance, the Seven-faced god, or the Seven, are in fact the royal family of the Andals. The first king of the Andals, Hugor of the Hill, was a powerful mage who used gruesome and disturbing rituals to transform himself and his family into gods, relying on weirwood trees and the sacrifice of a greenseer and many first men, cannibalizing them for power. In a way, they are responsible for the Long Night, as they follow the bloodstone emperor.

Despite what may be written in history books, it is important to consider who authored them. The Septons of the Faith of the Andals and the Measters wrote the history books, and they arrived in Westeros before the Long Night, breaking the pact and unleashing the Others on the world.

The Old gods, on the other hand, are nothing but the spirits of nature and the deceased greenseers of the children of the forest.

Returning to the present, we witness the destruction of the castle of the Seven gods, now in ruins. An old man, dressed in rags, is on his knees, begging for mercy from a golden-armored warrior. This man, once known as Hugor of the Hill, is now known as The Father, but it is of no consequence to the warrior, who replies, "I am already a God of War, old man, and this is personal. Your followers have brought an end to the last Dragon Lords."

Out of courtesy, the warrior allows Father to see his face, revealing himself as an older-looking Aegon. He then stabs the Father with his golden holy sword, killing him instantly.

A fiery dragon descends from the sky to the castle, transforming into a man with pointed ears and horns, golden hair, and a golden necklace. This is Akatosh, the Dragon God of Time, and leader of the Nine Divines.

Akatosh asks the warrior, "Did you finish all of them, Ysmir?" The warrior replies, "Yes, I killed all of the Seven."

Akatos declares, "That good Ysmir. I will wait for Kynareth and the others to finish off the Old Gods. This world will be ours."

Akatosh looks down at the mortal world and says to Aegon, "Fear not, we will assist you in conquering this world and defeating any godly enemies."
