Chapter 17

The trial of earth took place in a dungeon unlike the other trials.This time the flower that grew on earth Qi was Anthurium so on emulating the flow through the flower of self, it transformed to Anthurium. Although each challenge faced in the trial was similar to the ones faced before, it emphasized on the fact that earth unlike water, air and fire was rigid. Due to this fact the entire trial took 5 months to complete and another 1 year and 2 months to complete the optional challenge. During the optional challenge Robin not only grasped the concept of solids but managed to consolidate her complete insights on states of matter.

So after spending 4 years and 4 months to complete the 4 trials Robin had grown exponentially in power. During the trials she had long surpassed her cultivation of her previous life, but it did not matter much as all four types of martial arts that she had learnt consumed a lot more Qi than any of the martial arts she had know. She never felt like using any of the martial arts from her previous life after learning the martial arts taught in tower as not only they allowed Robin to switch between different forms instantly but also they were a lot more powerful, hence a lot more Qi heavy, compared to any martial art she knew.

Her body had been baptized in all four trials and under gone qualitative change. Not only was she much more faster and flexible but also had her power substantially improved. She was sure that she did not even need to use her devil fruit powers to defeat the ice man. What excited her the most was that the 4 trials were part of a single labyrinth and there were 3 more labyrinths waiting for her to challenge.

All these improvements had left Robin on cloud 9, but she came crashing back to earth when she realized she did not have any means to leave the island except for swimming and she did not in the slightest have an idea as to where she was, and even if she found a way to leave after finding out where she was she still had to face the ominous fog surrounding the island.

She first decided to get to shore and started walking in the direction of setting sun. To her surprise the island wasnt exactly uninhabited , she faced a lot of ferocious beasts that she had never seen before on her way. Each of these beast were much more powerful than any sea king she had faced till now. But these beasts were not a match for current Robin, as she was no longer under the sustenance of the tower she had a few dozen of the beast that attacked her as dinner. She then decided to continue the next day as she was full and felt sleepy.

She continued her journey towards the shore after she woke up the next day, once again during her journey she was sometimes attacked by the beasts, although the number of attacks had grown significantly lesser, but the beats she face were significantly tougher or rather more powerful that the previous ones. Soon another night arrived but she wasnt anywhere close to the shore, as she couldnt hear the sea. But what surprised her the most was that the constellations that she was seeing were a lot different from the ones she had observed previous night, it was as though the entire island had moved to different location. She decided to dismiss the island moving hypothesis as to seems too ridiculous for an island to move around like that ad thought maybe she was too tired and might have remembered them wrongly.

It was only after travelling for 5 days and 4 nights did she reach the shore, but during the 4 nights she had indeed confirmed one thing, the island was moving. As soon as she reached to shore she could no longer hold her curiosity and jumped into water to see how the entire island moved.

But what she saw blew her mind, never had she thought she was not a island but on a giant lion turtle.
