The Mysterious man grabs Victor's head. "HEY!" Screams Victor, pulling out his glock-18 side-arm and emptying the magazine on the mysterious man's wrist. He quickly pulls back his arm, which looked completely unaffected by the bullets. Victor loads another mag in his pistol and aims at the person, "WHO ARE YOU? STAY BACK!" He yelled. The person looked as if he couldn't understand the language Victor was speaking, he stared at Victor's eyes then looked at Victor's body which was covered in blood and heavily injured. The person continues to approach Victor which caused Victor to start shooting at the person, bullets ricochet off the person's body as Victor empties the mag. Pulling his combat knife out Victor tries to stab the person but he grabbed Victor's hand punches him which knocked Victor out.

Sometime later, Victor woke up on the roof of a tall building. But something was different, he couldn't control his body, "What? Why can't I move?" Victor questioned himself in confusion. "Because I'm the one controlling your body" says a person, "WHAT? Who are you? Whe-where are you?Where am I?" Victor continued still being confused where the voice came from. "Your consciousness is stored my mind, I absorbed your body, my body is currently healing it, the time may take long." Says the person who's voice seemed to coming out in front of Victor. "Impossible!" Victor said not believing anything he heard. "Really? Then if you are talking, why isn't your mouth moving?" Asked the person. Victor realising that the person is right, Victor's mind connected the dots as he desperately tries to move. "Let me out!" Victor cried. "Nonsense!You'd die!?" The person answered.

"I don't care whether i will live or die, i'm not going to let some demon use by body!" Victor replied without a second thought. "Do not worry, you were saved by me so repay me with your trust." The person says in a friendly tone. "If you want my trust, then give me back my body." Victor demanded. "That would not be possible for a few days, as the healing requires time." The person replied. "Nice excuse but I'm not trusting you, do whatever you want, I'm not telling anything." Victor says still trying to move the body. "Fine, what do you want me to do to obtain your trust?" The person requests Victor. "I don't know and I don't care, just give me back my body!" Victor replied still not showing any signs trust. "You are...really make this difficult aren't you? Tell me! what can i do to show you my honesty." The person still trying to negotiate with Victor.

"NO!" Victor yelled with anger. "Very well, If death is what you want, i shall not stop you." The person answered in defeat. The person's body spits out Victor on the ground, Victor cried in pain as there was no long any adrenaline left to hide his pains. "I told you." The person shouted, "Have I gained your trust?" he continued. "Shut up!" Cried Victor. Victor then stopped moving, his eyes slowly closing as he begins to pass out. But before Victor could close his eyes, the person once again absorbed Victor's body and sits on the ground. A deep silence followed by the sound of rainfall, "Tell me your name," Victor asked, "I will trust you for now, but you WILL give me back my body once it is fully healed." He insisted.

"My name" the person says standing up, "Is Minos." he continued. "Call me Victor." Victor replied. "Tell me, Minos, why did you save me? what do you need my body for?" Victor asked, his tone calming down. "I have seen you many times before, in the news and during your missions-" Minos replied, "So you were stalking me?" Victor interjected. "I did not intend to," Minos replied. "You and your people are popular across the country." Minos explained. "True but what does that have to do with you saving me?" Victor questioned. "The death you were destined was unfair for a warrior like you. Betrayed by your own kind, that feeling is all too familiar." Minos sighed, "I cannot watch the unfair death of a warrior who has his family waiting for him to return." he resumed. "Thank you but I'd still rather die than live on this hellshit planet." Victor exclaimed.

"My family's already dead, HQ told me months ago but i couldn't accept it. I forced myself to believe they were still alive but in reality I was doing this to keep myself alive, the thought of someone you love waiting for you to return makes me want to keep going. So i did just that, i kept on going until i couldn't escape the truth, that was when my fear of..death..disappeared." Victor mumbled. "You shall not worry, your journey is far from over. Relief yourself while your body is healing." Minos cheered. "If i remember correctly, the news said that there was a demon's nest nearby. Do you contain any information related to it?" Minos asked. "Yes, there is a demon's nest just up north about maybe 60 kilometers away." Victor answered. "Then we shall go there and destroy the nest before it consumes the city." Victor shouted in excitement.

Minos jumps down the tall building and onto the roof of a smaller building and began running and jumping from building to building in such a fast speed that a loud bang is heard throughout the town. After a few minutes Minos jumps on top of another tall building to reveal a view of a large open field filled with demons and dead bodies and a large egg like shape structure in the middle which appears to be made out of flesh, Minos stands on the edge of the building, puts his hands on the back of his waist as he pulls out two short-snathed scythes and jumps down the building, landing on top of a demon's head which gets immediately crushed on the ground alerting the other demons. The horde of demons near the structure began rushing towards Minos as Minos himself rushes towards them with great speed.

Minos began slashing through the hordes of demons with such an intensely fast speed that the demon's themselves couldn't react in time. After a few minutes, Minos stands on top of a large pile of demons he killed as the rain splashes on his mask, there were no demons left. But suddenly a large roar is heard inside of the Egg like structure before a gigantic worm like beast comes rushing out of the egg and begins to race towards Minos. Minos takes his stance, bending down a little bit and crossing his scythes behind him, then he too began rushing towards the gigantic worm. The worm swallows Minos and stops dead on its track. A brief silence and then the worm beings to screams in pain, smashing its body repeatedly on the ground as the tip of Minos' scythe pokes out from the rear end of the worm. The painful scream continues as Minos began slicing the worm open from tail to head, his scythe slicing through the worm's skin like butter. Finally Minos jumps out the worm's mouth as the worm lays on ground, it's body sliced open from the top.

Minos faces towards the dead worm. "Is that it? I hardly broke a sweat!" Minos laughs. But before Minos could relax, a loud trumpet is blown indicating that Angels are nearby and ready to fight and protect. "SHIT!" Minos Murmured. "Why?What's happening?" Victor questions in confusion. "I apologise Victor but you're gonna have to take control for now, do not worry, they will help you." Minos advises Victor. " Wait what?." Victor shouts before Minos switches this current body to Victor's along with his consciousness. Victor's body still being heavily injured and weak falls to the ground as Victor passes out.

Victor wakes up to the sound of people chatting. "He's waking up!" A kind looking nurse informs the person next to her. "Well I suppose you can take it from here" says another person but she's different from the nurse. Ah yes, a beautiful angel with white wings folded in her back and a halo above her head, a glowing skin and white silk clothes. The angel waves goodbye to the nurse as she exits the room. Victor get's up feeling light, his armour on the ground as he's body is covered in bandages. "Please do not move too much as the injuries have not yet healed." The nurse said with a worried face. "Sorry but where am I?" Victor questioned. "Well, you are in New Zealand, Safe Heaven. A town built by the angels and archangels so they could help the people affected by the demon invasion. You will find many people as well as angels here. In fact, you were brought here by an angel, they found you unconscious on the ground all the way in Russia. It seemed like you had fought an entire demon army, so the angels took you here in the hopes of recovering a strong soldier like you." The nurse explained.

"Oh, is that so?" Victor sighed. "Thank you very much for treating me." Victor said to the nurse. "Its nothing, plus its my job." The nurse smiled. Victor stands up and takes a look at his surroundings, He's inside a small room, a bed behind him with a heart monitor, a fan on the wall and window to his left. Victor takes a look outside the window and sees a compound full of injured people getting treated. "That's a lot of people." Victor thinks to himself. "I mean half of the world is consumed by demons" replied Minos inside Victor's head. "Good to hear you're still here" Victor says in his head. "I'm sure you're eager to get out of here but you will have to wait until tomorrow to be released, in case your injuries get even worse." The nurse interjected.

"Please, I'm not in a hurry, I will stay here the whole week if I have to." Victor chuckled, "That's good to hear. Please get some sleep, it's almost midnight, even though you slept through the whole day, sleep is still important for the body's recovery." The nurse suggested as she walks out the room. Victor sits on the bed and began to catch up with everything that had happened, his face frowning. "If you're still unsure of my honesty-" said Minos, annoyed, "No," Victor interjected, "I was just recollecting on everything that had happened." he continued. "Well that being said, your body will likely be in good health tomorrow. I will stay true to my oath and be gone by the time you wake up." Minos sighed.

"No," Victor replied immediately, "I've come to the conclusion that I want to join you in your journeys." he continued. "Well what made you come to that conclusion?" Minos asked, "I mean, I have nowhere else to go. Plus, your journey looks more interesting than mine so I might as well join in on the fun." Victor answered. "Very well." Minos replied, impressed. Victor lays down on the bed. "So, what are the plans for tomorrow." Victor asks. "Tomorrow, we go visit a close friend of mine, a fallen Seraphim." Minos answered in excitement.
