Chapter #9 After the Burial

The burial was held after a day of Watson's death in which most of the people known to them and were invited were there except Jimmy because of his studies. Even Aran's father was able to get a leave and attend.

Chris had inherited the house as per according to the will and all of Watson's belongings. After a week of burial, people stooped coming to visit and the both main characters were able to get on their normal life track. But, without Watson earning Chris had to find a job and was struggling because he had never done it before. But with the help of access to different people he was able to get a job as a receptionist in a big company in which he had came as an internee.

At first he struggled a bit, but with the help of some people he got the hang of it. Now he came here everyday except the weekends from 09 00 to 15 00 as he was still hired as a part time worker and was promised that he will be hired as a full time worker if he did his job properly etc.

On the other hand, Aran had his normal routine as before with the only addition of eating dinner together with Chris. Other than that he had given up totally about investigating the gang of the twins. Even though Chris tried to get his help about it but he simply refused that it was extremely dangerous and he will no longer do it and advised Chris to not get in it as it was the police's work.

Chris refused to give up and said, "Those animals ended my family, I won't leave them alone this easily". "Ok, do whatever you want, but don't ask me again for help" said Aran.

Chris started visiting the back alley everyday in hope of salvaging an evidence, even after police had stopped as they thought that thugs had not left a single piece of evidence other than a face of Evan, which was placed as a wanted man all across the States.

Aran could not ignore the fact alone that Chris was not letting go of the thugs that easily, so he had decided to track him at least two days of the week and see where he went and help him if anything bad happens as he did not want to lose him as he had lost Watson.
