The Battle of Ōno River.

Matsuno awoken in the morning as he ate the same rations with his men making respect with the men before heading to the trenches with an 1858 Pattern Enfield Rifle. Matsuno slinger his rifle before looking with his binoculars down before seeing the waving of Shogunate banners and Clan banners supporting the Shogunate. Matsuno quickly shouted the order. "THE SHOGUNATE IS COMING GET READY MEN, GET READY!" The men quickly got to the firing steps as they raised their rifles with Matsuno getting on horseback.

Matsuno quickly rode before heading to the Artillery men where Herito led the 20lb Parrot Rifles waving to them. Matsuno dismounted before running to Herito, stating, "LOOK NORTH EAST SHOGUNATE FORCES OPEN FIRE IF THEY'RE IN RANGE OF FIRE USE CASE ROUNDS!" Herito nodded before shouting the orders to the Non-Comissioned Officers that led the 20lb Parrot Rifles.

Matsuno got on his horse once again, riding back to the trenches before he dismounted once again, getting in the firing steps with the bushes covering the trenches with the otherside as well to the left flank doing the same.

Finally, an hour later, at least some 200 were being sent as the first wave to attack without knowing. The booms of the 20lb Parrot Rifles fired with case rounds exploding above them launching shrapnel, some rounds going in the lines exploding in the line and sending limbs flying off or the flesh of many, shrapnel, bodies flying, the only peices of flesh of the human body on the ground or even worse the bones of the body flying to somebody else as shrapnel.

Matsuno looked as he saw the 200 go down by just 178 men left evening out the odds. Matsuno looked as if they were about 600 yards away from the trenches that were hidden. Matsuno turned to a lieutant, saying, "Tell down the order don't shout but remove the camouflage and take aim do not fire." The camouflage hiding the trenches were taking finally off with them raising their rifles, aiming down. Matsuno shouted the order, "FIRE!" A volley would ripped throughout the trenches, sending 161 rounds throughout the line with bodies already being piled upon more due to artillery already pounding the Shogunate.

Quickly reloaded Matsuno, then shouted, "INDEPDENT FIRE, FIRE AT WILL!" The order was heard with now men firing repeatedly suppressing and gunning down enemies.

The Shogunate men panicked in fear with the cohesion being collapsed due to the weight of fire and suppression of artillery, causing the left over 98 to run booking it.

The men halted fire with the men reloading, preparing with another wave to follow suit of the previous wave

Soon, the new wave would have something to say.
