The 1st Imperial Japanese Line Infantry

The men marched through the east side of Kyushu, marching with their gators, boots, the uniform identical to the prussian uniform, though consisting of a black forager cape with black overcoat with 1 line of red going through the sides of the trousers.

They marched, getting the eye-catching looks of many on the ways. Before then, they setted up camp at Bungoorio, Oita, where they rested down as Matsuno and Aiko planned in a secured room. Matsuno asked. "Any news as of lately?" Aiko responded "Well you got reported to Colonel. The other thing is that some of our scouts just spotted possibly 400-700 Shogunate forces to the east approaching, supposing that there had been something wrong with the forces you went up against a week ago." Matsuno nodded before looking towards the map."Gather the forces we are heading towards them, and we could use some of our new 10lb Parrot Rifles we at least have 3 of them to use." Aiko nodded as he said,"I'll get Herito to handle the Parrot Rifles since he's an experienced artillery man." Matsuno then said,"I'll take 161 men. You take the other half from then on. I'll secure the right, and you secure the left since we are heading through a river area." Aiko nodded."Alright, well, it seems like we are done. I suppose it's time for us to move out now." Matsuno bowed as he said "Yes it is." Matsuno quickly jogged before mounting on a horse as he went to the 3 barracks where he said to the Captain,"Get your men follow me. we are moving out. We are heading east and taking the right side while Aiko takes the left side." The Captain nodded before relaying the orders, causing the chain of command to finally prepare the men in a column.

The 161 men stood at the ready with Matsuno shouting, "AT THE QUICK TIME, FORWARD MARCH!" The marched in formation with the 20lb Parrot Rifles passing through them with Casemates and horses lumbering them.

2 Hours Later.....

After marching, they finally rested with the Sappers beginning to set up barbed wire lines and barbed wire pits with the men digging up small trenches with firing steps, bushes as camouflage the trenches to surprise the enemy and rifle holes to put the rifle through and aim without risking being shot to the head and such while the 20lb Parrot guns were setted up on a flat surface of a hill prepared with a nice overview of the field. Matsuno rode through seeing the defenses and such before heading back to finally await the dangers to come ahead.
