Over The Top Down to The Enemy!

The Imperial men of the 83 out of the original 120 infantry men they turned with finally aw looking at the reinforcements they cheered as they saw the battle finally go down seeing about 300 Imperialists marching down to meet with the foes, the traitors, the Shogunate.

They marched forwardly before forming battle lines firing into Shogunate men, Matsuno looked as he felt the urge to join. Matsuno quickly turned to the 83 men as he said, "MEN OF THE 1ST SATSUMA VOLUNTEERS YOU ARE NO LONGER THE CALLED VOLUNTEERS OF SATSUMA YET YOU ARE NOW TO BE CALLED THE 1ST IMPERIAL JAPANESE LINE INFANTRY BATTALION, TODAY YOU ARE THE TROOPS OF THE UNITED LANDS OF JAPAN UNDER THE BANNER OF THE EMPEROR, GET YOURS ARMS WE SHALL FIGHT FULL KITS GENTLEMEN!" The 83 men with still pride even though tired mustered up the strength grabbing their arms forming a battle line as they went shoulder arms with the rifles.

Matsuno shouted, "UP AND OVER QUICK TIME!" The men quickly got over the parapets as they reformed the battle line before marching forwards to the foes waving the Emperor's Banner and the Regimental Colours.

They then were about some 300 yards away before Matsuno said, "HALT, PREPARE ARMS." The men cocked their rifles as they then waited for the command."TAKE AIM!" They took aim raising their arms with the sounds of 83 men raising their arms with some bayonets hitting one another.

Finally, the order was shouted, "FIREE!" The men pulled the triggers making the deafening sounds of cracks with a small explosion going through the barrel delivering the lead upon the foes, making men cease to live and fall to the ground.

Matsuno shouted, "PRESENT BAYONETS!" The men lowered their rifles as they got ready to charge with another order shouted."QUICK TIME FORWARD MARCH!" The men in a professional manner or an attempted one began walk forwards before at 90 some yards they began to charge full sprint with the order screamed "CHARGEEE FOR THE EMPEROR BANZAAAI!!" The men joined in the war chant screaming as they quickly smashed in with men jumping and sprining onto the enemy with the bayonet, leaving no mercy for the 76 Shogunate men left alive.

Finally, after a while, it fell silent as the men finally cheered only with the pride they felt for finally winning a battle after a hearty siege. They collected arms, the reinforcements marched towards. An officer from the reinforcements named Akio Uri met up as he was surprised, looking at what Matsuno had before walking up to him bowing down. Matsuno turned before bowing down as well before raising his body with Akio at a synced time.

Akio looked as he said, "Mr. Matsuno.. I've heard about you as I am surprised by your leadership and what you and your men have fought. Hell, throughout your defense, I ask of you, Mr. Matsuno." He knelt down before presenting his Katana to the man."To be under your Regiment with my 240 men." Matsuno nodded before stating,"I then welcome you to the 1st Imperial Japanese Line Infantry. Get your men to my dead mens uniforms, clean them out, and make them wear those to allow the organization of the uniform and non-confusion. Though there is not a lot, we'll be heading back to Kagoshima to get more uniforms and arms." Akio said to Matsuno."Yes, Sir." Before moving out to gather his men.

Matsuno and Akio then marched back down to Kagoshima, where they gathered up arms and uniforms before moving up north.
