Seeing her evasive eyes, Lennon understood everything.

He didn't expose her, but just said, "You resigned as soon as the Coiling Dragon project was obtained. It's obvious that you have a plan and purpose."

Nelly let out a sigh of relief. It seemed that he didn't see through anything.

She had to calm down and not show her guilt.

She shrugged. "So what? I am already your wife. Why can't I participate in a project in the company?"

"Damine Group is not some family business."

She pouted. "But your uncle, cousin, and nephew are all working in the company. If they can work, why can't your wife work?"

There was a playful hint in his eyes. "That’s because my wife has to stay home to fulfil another request of my grandfather."
