Chapter 26 He Purposely Came Back for Her

He didn't know what had happened. This usually tough-looking woman was crying her heart out in front of him. It made him very uneasy.

He gently pushed open the balcony door, leaned against one side, and quietly accompanied her.

After about half an hour, she raised her head and looked at the sky.

She pulled off her headphones. When she stood up and turned, she was scared by the figure behind her and took a step back.

She looked at Lennon in surprise. "When... did you come back?"

He thought for a moment and said, "It's been quite a while… since you were crying out here."

Hearing the word "cry", she turned her head away and wiped the tears from her eyes. Rolling her eyes at him, she walked passed him into the room.

He grabbed her wrist as she passed by him.

"Did something happen?"

She calmly replied, "No."

"Then why were you crying?"

She pouted. "It's rude to listen in on others."
