ALEX SUSPICTION

Standing up, Alex stretch his hand across his desk and shake his hand.

"Good day Sir, I am Major Alexander Mellford, please tell me, how can I be of assistance."

"Mr. Mellford, I am Gerald Millington a friend recommended your Security Company to me. Mr. Mellford where my store is located, recently we had some vandalizing.

And I need a firearm officer for twelve hours, from Monday to Saturday."

"Sir, to hire a firearm officer, we have to follow through with some rules." Explaining to him the procedure and what is required which he agrees.

"Then I will be with the contract tomorrow at ten at your place of business."

Escorting him out then inform Melissa that he will be in his office suite.

"Sir, you have another client in twenty minutes."

"Very good, that should be sufficient time for me to organize myself for dinner."

Tying his shoes lace when the knock came but he continue then he fix his tie and color.

Before leaving his suite he takes up his jacket and step into his office. "Sir, your client is here."

"Thank you, Melissa,"

Looking at her as she left the office, she has been a very efficient secretary never leaving anyone in his office alone.

Hanging his jacket on the chair back, then turn to see this beautiful creature standing by the window.

Walking towards her saying, "Hello good evening." When she turns around Alex seeing how lustrously beautiful she was. Her pink outfit made her even more breath taking.

She was tall and her perfume was very enticing. Speechless for a few minutes thinking, 'Did she know that I am a glutton for beauty.'

Smilingly saying, "I am Mr. Alexander Milford."

"I know, and I am Beverly Felon."

"Well, Miss Felon."

"Please call me Beverly and it is Mrs. Felon."

Alex immediately realizing she was a professional flirt, leading her to a chair. "Now Mrs. Felon how can I be of assistance?"

"I have a private job that I need your help."

"What sort of job is that Ma'am?"

Alex listens to her for five minutes, then said. "Mrs. Felon, what you need is a private investigator, my company doesn't deal with people private affairs.

I handle businesses agencies, companies and factories and a few pre-schools. Mrs. Felon I have a friend who does detective work.

Now how about we have dinner and I will give him a call to come and join us."

"Dinner sound fantastic and my job could hold for a few more days."

"Then give me a few minutes and we shall be out of here."

Leading her out of his office, "Can't I wait in here for you?"

"Sorry, my dear, no one stays in my office unattended." Calling to Melissa's attention, "Can you make a reservation for two and kindly keep Mrs. Felon company for me. I need five minutes to make two very important calls."

Alex sit for a few minutes making his calls then, jotted down a note. Resting it on his inside jacket pocket then step out of his office, locking his door.

Slipping the note into Melisa's hand then links his hand into Mrs. Felon and walks out of the reception area.

Melissa opens the note when they were out of sight then whispers to herself. "One of these days boss, you will get trap and won't know how to escape.

These women know your weakness for beautiful women. And they came out from every nook and cranny, "

Smiling thinking back to the time she had started to work, 'He is such a womanizer and flirt, when it comes to his dates.

In the four years I have been working in this company.

After I was hired few months after Boss took over, he has never disrespected any of the women workers and officers.

His father Mr. Gerald Mellford has started this Security Company ten years ago. When he died six years ago Boss mother had taken the reign and now Boss.

Boss only started working four years and two months, right before his mom death. And he has built the reputation of the Company at a very high esteem.

When he started, it was a small firm with only above forty workers, and it is growing rapidly.

The Security firm has over one hundred and forty workers now, and many applications have been coming.

In these last few months I thank God I have been a part of the growth which is very rewarding. This firm has been growing and he has gotten many new contracts.'

At the restaurant choosing a table where the lights were dim and sitting in a position to profile her carefully.

After ordering dinner, they were drinking a glass of wine just having small talk, seeing she seems boring, "Tell me Mrs. Felon why do you really want your husband to be followed?"

"I believe he is having an affair."

"Do you have proof of that accusation?"

"Not exactly."

"Then, please tell me, what exactly do you have to prove your husband infidelity in your marriage?"

The woman is always in his office and answering his phone."

"Does she work in the office with him?"

"From what I know about her, I don't think that is possible but every time I asked them, that's what they say, but I don't believe them."

"When you say them, who are you referring to?"

"My husband and his Boss."

"So, what is causing you to doubt them?"

"If you only knew her, you will believe what I am saying, she is a snub but please let us just have a quiet dinner without having to think about them."

"Beverly, I thought the matter was urgent when you came to my office?"

"It can hold for a few more days as I said before."

Alex rest back his head on the chair with his eyes halfway close, wondering at that moment, 'Exactly what was the real reason for her visiting my office.'

When Rossi came with their dinner and was about to open the Champaign, "Rossi no alcohol please but you can get us a grape or Pomegranate non- alcoholic Champaign thanks."

"Sorry Sir, I had completely forgotten when you are working you don't consume alcohol."

Halfway through his meal hearing Roxanne voice, seeing a different reaction on Beverly face, she look so relieved. 'Alex knew immediately this was a plan they both concocted together.'
