"I… I… I-" He continues kissing me. First my neck. Then my cheek. And finally onto my lips. I push him gently, not hurting his feelings.

"I have something for Nara." He pulls out a bouquet from behind; white tulips. "Your favourite."

I accept his flowers, smiling at him awkwardly. How can I say no to that puppy face?

"Good you're here too, Dave. Listen carefully, you BOTH!"

I take a deep breath, and exhale. "I am - "

"Nara!" 

"Oh God, what now?" I turn back. A silhouette waves at me from the stables. He too runs and smiles widely at me. "Nara, I am here."

"Yes, I can see you, Kain." The third lead also ends up in front of me. Very good. Now I can confront them at once.
