Chapter 16
The hunters are all standing up ready to fight the boss monster, Tarkan is growling while all the hunter staring at the boss with sweat and gulped.
When a single drop of water fall from above the cave hitting the ground tarkan immedeatly ran to them with inhuman speed ready his fire claw.
Fire Claws!
"Here it comes!" Lynch shout.
Tarkan leap to them with his fire claws to kill them. "Tanks!" Lynch shout, as two tankers get in front of them activating using their shield.
Smoke began to appear after the attack from the fire wolf end, tarkan began to do a surprise attack using the smoke as a cover. "Water spear!" Lynch began to cast many water spears and launch them towards tarkan.
Tarkan quickly respond to Lynch's attack by avoiding them all with his agility, tarkan began to run to Lynch. "Shit!" Lynch cursed, she want to cast shield magic but tarkan is near her so she didn't have time to defend herself.
When tarkan was about to kill Lynch suddenly he was thrown far away to the side, Lynch see the one who save her and it's blaze. "Hunter blaze!" Lynch said.
Blaze just side eye her and smile, he focus his eyes forward again towards the fire wolf, tarkan get up brush away the punch on his face like nothing.
Tarkan began to look at all the remaining hunters, his eyes wander to search for the man who punched him. Tarkan eyes landed on blaze, from tarkan eyes jason has unusual dark aura around him.
Tarkan began to growl and materialize fire wolves, there are at least 30 of them. "It seems the fire wolf summons his minions." Tusk began to use aura to shield himself and enveloped his sword.
Caliban just look at tarkan with stoic face and ready his sword, ashlin began ready to cast his magic to support and attack, robert meanwhile just using his sword ready to slash all his enemies.
Without further ado tarkan and his minions began to attack the hunters and the hunters respond by charging towards tarkan while the mage and healer are behind to support them.
Jason began to slash tarkan's minions alongside tusk and the others hunters, the mages began to cast spells except using fire magic and healer began to heal the hunters who are hurt.
Tarkan and his minions are also hurting and kill the hunters, while tarkan bite a hunter's head killing the hunter, his eyes landed on jason who is fighting his minion.
Tarkan began to run quickly towards jason whil jason didn't notice him and busy killing his minions.
[Jason, Behind You!!]
Jason kill the fire wolf minion heard his sponsor warning shout, he turned around see the fire wolf suddenly leap towards him with murderous look and intent.
Jason began to sweat and jump back to avoid tarkan, tarkan attack make a massive crack like webs on the ground where jason previously standing. 'Fuck, If I only didn't dodge that attack I would severed a serious damage.' Jason thought looking at the crack lile webs made from tarkan's attack.
Tarkan look at blaze with murderous look and intent, jason look at the fire wolf and pointed his sword to him. They immedeatly began to clash against each other, tarkan use his fire abilities to attack and defend while jason use his umbrakinesis abilities and swordsmanship.
Robert pretending to have difficulty killing tarkan's minions, ashlin use earth spells and caliban slash every tarkan's minions, the hunters are handling the situation well.
Jason and tarkan are fighting with each other on the other side of the battlefield, they begin to exchange attacks with precision and intent to kill.
Jason enveloped his fist with darkness and punch tarkan's face making him pushed backward, jason see tarkan and surprise to see tarkan's face is okay.
Jason can't believe his darkness punch has been taken by tarkan like it was nothing because that fire punch can hurt an A-Rank hunter but suddenly he remember one of tarkan's defense ability.
'Fire armor!' Jason thought, he became frustrated because this ability fire armor make someone skin more durable and make it hard to penetrate it.
Jason use his umbrakinesis ability to make shadow knives flying round him, he begin to send those knives flying to tarkan but tarkan use fire shield to block jason's attacks, jason enveloped his whole body into darkness melt to the ground and began to move away waiting for an opening.
Tarkan look to see jason don't stand in front of him, this makes him confused and wary of his sorrounding because jason might surprise attack him out of knowhere, tarkan deactivate his fire shield and look around for jason with his guard up.
Jason began to materialize into his human form away from tarkan, he look at the fire wolf who is rotating from his position looking for him. 'Now's my chance!' Jason began to melt with his darkness powers into the ground moving quickly to tarkan's position.
Tarkan still not see jason anywhere because jason moves on the ground with his umbrakinesis, jason is right behind tarkan immedieatly jump from the ground change himself back into a human and leap towards tarkan with his sword.
Tarkan's instict began to warned him of someone behind him, he turned around to see jason leap towards him, he is surprise and begin to defned himself using his fire shield but before he use his fire defense jason is faster than tarkan.
He begin to make quick slashes around tarkan body with his sword enveloped with darkness, jason stop a fee meters behind tarkan turned around to see tarkan body has many sword slashes from jason.
Tarkan began to growl in pain and anger, he turned around to jason and growl while jason just pointed his sword at tarkan. Tarkan's began to become more hotter and flame around him became bigger, he became bigger, his eyes are red, and the ground around him became to steam and melt.
'Shit, what's happening to him?' Jason became alert of the fire wolf's change of appereance, the aura around tarkan became more murderous and dangerous not to mention he can feel his power began to increase.

'Berserk mode?' Jason talk to his sponsor in his mind.

Jason became panic and stunned, he didn't expect tarkan's berserk mode is this powerful not only his stats has change but also his abilities became more powerful, jason is panic and didn't know what to do because this is the first time he face an enemy this powerful.
'What the fuck is this? Tarkan's stats is like an S-Class or someone who is in level 60.' Jason thought, looking at the massive boost of power amd stats tarkan got from his berserk mode.

Jason who heard his sponsor talk inside his mind. "What do you mean by calm down, don't you see, tarkan became more powerful than before because of berserk mode." Jason shout in his mind, he see the berserk mode ability is a cheat to take a short cut to become more powerful, this makes jason envy and jealous of tarkan.

Robert looking at tarkan status using his system the same as jason, he is using his stealth and invisible abilities to watch jason and tarkan's fight. 'Let's see if he can survive tarkan berserk mode for five minutes.' Robert thought.
Tarkan suddenly appear in front of jason. 'So Fast!' Jason wide eyed and cold sweat looking at tarkan who appread suddenly in front of him.
Luckily jason leaped back and jump backwards, tarkan didn't give jason a chance to attack, tarkan began to unleash barrage of fire claw attacks at jason. Jason immedeatly cast darkness wall and successfully difend himself.
Jason sigh in relief but suddenly wide eyed and his back began to rain with sweat because he feel someone behind him is going to kill him, he turned around to see tarkan open his mouth full of fire.
Tarkan began to shoot fire from his mouth, jason duck to evade tarkan's attack and jump to the left, tarkan cast many big fire balls flought around him alarmed jason.
Jason began to rum but tarkan immedeatly launch his fire balls at jason, jason dodge all those incoming fire balls but unfortunetaly he got hit by one on his back.

Jason was throwm away hitting the ground several times until he stop, he groan in pain and struggle to get up. 'Fuck, that attack was very painful.' Jason began crawl until he reach for the cave wall.
He begin to pant hard and exhausted, he see tarkan began to walk to him ready to kill him, while jason began to stand up and touching the wall for support.
'Shit, I don't want to fie yet.' Jason thought, as he struggle to keep his body standing up while denyi of his fate die in the dungeon.
When tarkan was about to kill jason suddenly he got hut by water balls from his right, jason surprised by this began to look for the person who attack tarkan, he see hunter ashlin with magic circle on her hand.
"Ashlin!" Jason is surprise to see who is the person attacking arkan.
"Sorry, hunter blaze for the wait!" Ahslin said, smiled.
Tarkan growled at ashlin who intervined with his prey, now he didn't care about jason and targeting ashlin.
