Chapter 15

The hunters continue their journey through the dungeon, they are finally regroup with the others so killing the monsters became easy. They are raid with no more than 60 members left because the rest of the hunters are all dead.

Lynch at first became troubled because they almost lost half of the hunters and some of them are poisoned, she think they should stop their raid but that idea was canceled.

Lynch look at jason who killed kobolds, goblins, and salamanders with his quick foot steps, fast and precise swordsmanship, and blackfire magic.

Lynch look at the blackfire magic jason just used, she couldn't help but remembering previous events.

Flashback

Lynch is having a quick meeting with the other hunters of the Rainsglades guild, the members of the guild began to report on the situation on each team, what they encounter on every path they take and casualties.

Most of them lost many hunters because of hidden traps, they brought the poisoned hunters to the healers but some of the team didn't have healers on their team, so they didn't have a choice but to carry them and regroup with the other team so they can ask the healer to treat the poisoned hunters.

'Shit! Never would thought we would lost half of the hunters on this raid.' Lynch thought, nervous and agitated. 'Should we just stop and continue the raid for another day?'

She never lost this many hunters on her raid in any dungeons or towers, that's the reason why she keep thinking whether she should stop the raid or not.

"Hey, what are you doing?" A healer said.

They look where the sound came from and see a healer who is trying to heal the poisoned hunter suddenly got interupted by jason.

Jason didn't answer him, he look at the poisoned hunter who panted hard, pale skin, red veins almost on all his body, and hot body temperature.

He began crouched down in front of the poisoned hunter and stretched his hand, they are confused and wondering why jason suddenly interrupted the healer.

"H-Hey, what are you–" a healer words were interrupted by jason.

"Just shut up and watch!" Jason glared at the healer with his menacing energy, which make him shut up.

Jason's hand emit dark green magic making the poisoned hunter glow dark green, the poisoned hunter began to glow dark green around him.

"Wh-What is he doing?" A Rainsglades hunter ask.

"I don't know but let's just watch and see what will happen next." Lynch said, she became interested of jason action.

Five minutes have passed and jason still in the same position as before, suddenly they look the poisoned hunter body stop glowing and jason hand stop emit the dark green magic.

He began to stand up. "It's done!" He look at the healer. "Wh-What!" The healer stuttered and surprised.

"It's done, you can check his condition." Jason said, pointed to the poisoned hunter who is lying down in front of them.

The hunter confused by jason's words and began to check the hunter condition using magic, he is stunned and wide eyed. "Wh-What, H-How did you–?" He look at jason stuttered, surpised, and confused

"Why, is there something wrong?" Lynch ask, she is curious what did jason do to the poisoned hunter that makes the healer look at jason have an expression like that, the same goes for the others.

The healer look at the her leader. "H-He is–"

"He is what, come on speak up!" Tusk shout, he urgently said to the healer to know what jason said to the poisoned hunter.

From what he can see from the healer's face, he is struggle for saying the words that want to come out of his mouth so he quickly look at jason. "You!"

Tusk rapidly come in front of jason glare menacingly at him. "What did you just do?" Jason just look at tusk with his own glare. "I just save him."

Tusk stunned at jason's word. "Save him?" Tusk raised his eyebrow. "

"Why didn't you ask him youself?" Jason gestured to the healer.

Tusk look at jason then turn around look at the healer again. "What did he do to him?" Tusk ask the healer.

All.the hunters began to look at the healer again waiting for his answer. "Th-The hunter got poisoned just now, he is healed." The healer's answer stunned all the hunters.

"What, are you serious? How can that be?" Tusk didn't believe jason just healed the hunter from the poison.

"I am not lying, look!" The healer show them the poisoned hunter who was healed by jason.

The poisoned hunter who look very sick and pale skin before now just return normal, his skin return normal, all the red veins are gone, and his condition began to improve.

How is it possible that the hunter just got poisoned suddenlt get healed, they look at jason and wait for his answer. "I just use one of my ability called, Detoxification. I can detoxify any kind of poison as long as the poison not above my detoxify ability." Jason said.

They are surprise of jason ability. "Wait, does that mean...?" Lynch look at jason.

"Yes, I can detoxify all the poisoned hunters here, If their poison rank is not above mine." Jaosn said.

Lynch is surprise of jason ability, If what he said is true then all the poisoned hunter can be healed and they will not short of manpower to raid the boss.

She look at jason and said. "Can you detoxify all these poisoned hunters?" Lynch pointed and look at the poisoned hunters lying in the ground panting hard and sweating like waterfall.

Jason look at them for a minute. "Yes, Yes I can."

"Then, please help all these hunters so we can continue our raid." Lynch said to john.

"Don't worry, I will help them all to get the poison out of them." Jason walk past tusk to detoxify all the poisoned hunters that was taking cared by the healers.

Tusk began to look at Lynch smile at jason, he look at jason's back walk away began to clench his fist, they didn't notice this except for robert who is on the sideway along with the other hunters.

Flashback end

While Lynch just with her thought suddenly an ogre appeared in front of her. "Shield magic!" Lynch cast shield magic to block the ogre's attack.

The ogre roar but suddenly his neck got sliced with fire around his neck that just got sliced, Lynch look at the man who save her and it was jason.

"Thank you for saving me." She thank jason.

Jason look back. "You're welcome." He begin to use his inhiman speed to kill all the remaining monsters and tusk who look jason just save Lynch got angry.

Robert still not showing any of his abilities, he only used his swordsmanship and speed to quick kill all the monters.

Jason is killing a salamnder in front of him, he feel his instict kicked in feeling a monster is behind him and turns out he was right, an armored lizard is using his spear to kill him.

Jason was going to block the attack but suddenly the armored lizrd got piarced by water spear from the back killing him. Jason look at the one who did this and it turns out it was ashlin.

Ashlim began to run to jason and stand in front of him. "Hello, my name is ashlin." She ask for a handshake.

Jason accept her handshake. "My name is blaze and tank you for saving me."

"No problem, I just pay you back for saving me and caliban from the golem magma." Ashlin said.

Jason began to remember a girl who carried a poisoned hunter on her back. "Here comes, another wave of monsters!" A hunter shout to warned them.

They begin to heard a hoard of kobolds using spears, swords, shields, bow and arrow.

"Shall we kill them, hunter ashlin?" Jason ready his sword smile at ashlin.

Ashlin look at jason surprise then smile back at him. "Mmhm! Let's go." Jason and ashlin began to attack the incoming hordes of kobolds with the other hunters.

They keep moving forward and rest for minutes a couple of times then we continue our raid, and finally they arrive at the gate of the dungeon boss.

The gate looks tall at the size of a building with the color black, all the remaining hunters are gathered at the front gate. "Alright, we arrive at the dungeon boss gate." Lynch said.

"And let me be clear." Lynch turn around to look at all the remaining hunters. "All of us are responsible for our own death and put up your guard because the boss is strong."

"Let's get in shall we?" Lynch began to order her guild hunters to open the door.

They begin to open the dungeon boss door, on the other side of the gate they are presented by ruin environment with buildings and pillars around destroyed, the dungeon boss room can store at least thousands of people.

They begin wapking into the boss room, after all of them are inside the gate behind them closed automatically. "Where is the boss, I don't see it." A hunter Rainglades said.

"Shut up and be on your guard, the boss might be hiding somewhere in this room." Tusk ordered.

Suddenly something fast run and past them killing two hunters behind them. "Shit, everyone defense position." Lynch ordered.

All the hunters began to circle each other with their backs facing each other. "There!" A female hunter with black hair see the boss monster shoot her arrow but she missed because the boss monter dodge so fast.

"Shit!" The female archer cursed because she missed.

A warrior hunter look around and feel heat coming from above. "Sh–!" He got hit by the incoming fire and died.

"Watch out, the boss attack from above." The look up to see incoming fire balls coming to them.

The use their defensive spells and tankers use their shield to defend the others and block the fire attacks. They keep up their defensive power and magic until the attack stoped.

They begin to cancel their defensive power and magic. "It seems like it's over." A mage hunter Rainsglades said.

Ashlin look around for the boss monster but when she look up she suddenly see a big fire ball with the size of a truck. "Incoming!" She shout to warned the other but it was too late.

The fire ball make contact with them creating big explosion in their time they cancel their defensive powers and magic, this causes many hunters are dead and hurt.

"Cough! Cough!" Lynch get up to see the hunters are all hurt and some are dead with smoke around them. "Is everyone okay?"

Almost all the hunters who are alive are groan and moan in pain, robert pretend to struggle getting up and see the sitiation around him.

'The boss is A-Rank.' Robert thought.

The boss landed far away from them. "Look it'd the boss." A hunter pointed in front of them. The boss is a wolf with fire covered all over him, size of a building, a red crystal on his head, sharp teeth and claws, and red eyes.

[Boss monster, Berserker Fire Wolf, Tarkan.]

"Everyone get ready the boss is here." Lynch shout.

The hunters are begin to put up their guard although all of them are in pain and injured they need to fight the boss or they will die and won't come out of the dungeon.

Robert see jason's wound slowly healing using his healing magic, the healers are behind them and will support the other hunters by using their abilities.

[Jason, this monster is strong.]

Jason can heard a voice in his head. "I know, this monster is at least A-Rank and specialize in fire." Jason talk to his sponsor in his mind.

[We need to defeat this boss monster and destroy the crystal on it's head so the real boss monster appeared, then we need to defeat the real boss monster so we can obtain 'that'.]

"I know... but If i want to defeat the real boss monster, we need to use all the other hunters to help us kill the real boss monster and obtain 'that'." Robert said.

[You are cunning aren't you jason? I like your plan.]

"Glad you like my plan." Jason smile ready his sword to kill the fake boss and destroy the crystal on the fire wolf's head.

'So this boss monster is fake and only by destroy the crystal on it's head so the real boss can appear.' Robert thought. 'But... what do they mean by obtain 'that', is it an item or something else?'

Robert look at jason back. 'Let's see, what jason and his sponsor want to obtained shall we?' Robert thought.
