First day of lectures

 Soon, it was time for lectures to start, Lith slept very early the night after all there was a popular saying "early to bed, early to rise". It proved to be true as he woke up so early he was contemplating returning to sleep but he knew that was the voice of the devil as he was very likely to oversleep if he did such.

 He called his sister and was surprised by how much she missed, she told him about a scholarship she saw.

 Lith was happy for her because he was wondering how his mother would cope since he was already in high school thus a great increase in expenses but with this scholarship, it would relieve the stress on his mother and it would be best if he could get one as well so she could invest money in her business as well as get herself some nice things.

 The fact that parents neglect their wants for the sake of their children doesn`t mean they don`t have things they want. She just kept talking about her life, both important and even somethings that don`t matter to him. 

 As every freshman, he was quite excited to start lectures, he was so anxious that he was already in the lecture room an hour to the start of the lecture. He quickly got his seat and began short conversations till even he got bored.

 "I wonder when this man would come". Lith began t doubt whether the lecture will hold at all thought. "Speak of the devil" he thought as a young chubby man whose weight he didn`t dare imagine strode into the hall with big strides.

 Turned out that the long awaited lecture was a total disappointment as no special thing was learnt in the class that day, only introductions to the courses and advices which passed through one of his ears only to come out at the other.

 He got so bored in the class he wished he could go out but he was scared of being the odd one as that was sure to garner attention- walking out on the lecturer in the first class.

 After a day of unfruitfulness and listening to the blabbing of old men he was in a foul mood. "hey what do we have here if not the young genius". 

 During the class, Tommy was having some problems with what the lecturer was teaching, and then approached Lith with the problem, to someone like Lith who already prior knowledge about the topic, it was quite easy for him so he decided to spare sometime to give him a brief explanation and during the break.

 He put him through thoroughly on the topic so since then Tommy had been calling him "Young genius". However Lith didn`t mind the fact that the name was eye-catching as he just took as a sign of appreciation.

 Calling him on the streets however was an an entirely different matter as he had drawn the attention of so many people, however, most of them shrugged it off as it was quite common to see most freshmen give themselves flashy names to attract attention especially that of the other gender after all.

 Only a few can stand the test of time. So apart of people making a mental note of him thus no special reaction was garnered from them saving him a great deal of embarrassment he never liked to be the target of public attention.

 "If you have so much free time on your hands, you should probably spend it reading". Lith said. "I am to tell you something" Tommy said he scratched his head in embarrassment

 "There is a party coming up at Nova 33 event center tomorrow night and I would like to invite you". "There will lots of baddies" he added when he saw Lith looking uninterested. "I don`t attend parties" Lith said.

 "Come on, don`t be stuck up all the time, you can`t read all the time". "You can`t understand, I have have dreams and I am chasing them". "Alright if you say so, just remember to enjoy life as you are not always young. 

 "Alright I will remember your words" He said as he watched Tommy leave. "Hey, sorry for disturbing you, I have wanted to see you since the last class but you really walk fast".

 Lith was still reminiscing about the words of Tommy when he heard a celestial voice behind him. He turned back to see a cute and short girl behind him, it looked like she had really been walking so fast because she was panting.

 He felt so hard to hurt such a beauty, she was short girl with eyes, every inch of her body was so perfect it made all the girls he had seen before look so ugly. With just a light touch of make-up, she was more beautiful than some models not to mention how endowed she was.

 Annabel was tomato red as this point as no female could stand a guy sizing her in public. She wished the ground could open up but it was disobedient. It was at this point Lith noticed his mistake and became embarrassed. "

 Ehem I`m sorry " he coughed and said to break the awkward atmosphere. "Yeah sorry I walk quite fast when I walk alone". "You said you wanted to see me". Lith said. "Huh I said that".

 At this point Lith was wondering what was wrong with this girls, is she amnesiac. "I saw you teach fatty and also wondered whether you could put me through on some things as well".

 " I understand if you don`t have time, after all you are quite busy". she said. "Fatty huh I thought his name was Tommy". Lith was surprised. "I am sorry, I heard people calling him fatty so I thought it was his nickname" she apologized thinking he was angry.

 "No no problem at all, that boy looks like he weighs as much as a car though" he said ."As for teaching you, I will see how I can create time".

 "Thanks a lot" she said looking like a kid that who just received candy. "Its my pleasure" "After all its hard to reject a beautiful girl after all" he added thinking to lighten the atmosphere not knowing that just worsened it as she turned beet red.

 "Thanks" she said, although she was used to receiving compliments from boys, most of them were just flirts with no hint of truth in them. 

 "I didn`t get your name" he said. "Annabel" she said as she gave him a paper containing her address. "You can visit anytime, just make sure to call so I can prepare" she said. "Sure when I am less busy". He said this just for the sake of being nice as he rarely visited girls.

 "Alright, we will see in class tomorrow" he said as they exchanged numbers and bid her farewell.

 After a long day, he decided to return to his dormitory, on the way, he saw Carl and Luna, however he saw him helping her to hold her bag. He just shook his head. He had a lot of things on his mind. He first wanted to just throw the paper containing Annabel address but couldn`t find it within himself to do so.

 At the end of the day he kept in a very safe place in his box at the dormitory. After doing a few other things and calling his sister, he narrated most of his day to her but excluded the part concerning Annabel and also discussed a few things.

 The call had to be cut short as the temptation of sleep was so strong he really couldn`t keep up. Within five minutes after the call, he gave heed to the temptation.
