Chapter 5

I'm heading to the convenience store to buy food. I'm craving some chips and ice cream. And joining me is Dave Fox. Maybe all of you didn't know his surname because of the paper incident last time.

"What will Snow White buy? Something white or something cold? Hmm, maybe both! Haha"

"Shut up Fox! " he is just following me. He's just laughing like an idiot.

"I'm thinking of using contact lens instead of my glasses. What ya think? " he said while cleaning his glasses.

"If you remove those glasses of yours you will not look so innocent anymore which is you're not after all," I said getting some Nova chips

" What ya think? " He grabbed my hand to make me turn around. I'm facing him without his glasses. We are approximately 1 meter away and I can see him in the whole view without his nerdy glasses. Dave is handsome with his glasses but even more handsome right now but I won't tell him that. I'm about to speak when he is walking closer to me.

"What are you doing Fox? " I said while hugging the nova chips even tighter.

"Maybe you need a closer look," he said and still walking closer to me but I didn't let him step any further. I held my chips even tighter until they explode in front of Dave.

"BOOM" And chips are flying their way everywhere and some are at Dave's face and body.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA" me laughing at him while my hands are at my tummy. I couldn't stop laughing because his face was priceless.

After about two minutes of laughing my hearts out, I didn't hear anything from Dave and I turned around to face him. His face is so cold. It gives me chills.

"Hey, are you mad?" I said with an apologetic voice.

"Hey " still not answering.

My eyes are starting to water. I did it too far. I hope he will forgive me. After thinking something and wiping my watery eyes suddenly something was on my face. I mean my whole face. And heard the man with cold eyes laughing.

" HAHAHA " I faced him with disbelief. And I came back to reality. Dave put some icings on my face.

" So that's what gonna happen" We started having a food fight at the convenience store. I'm throwing him some MnMs, some chocolate Slurpees, and some frostings while he is throwing some chocolate syrup, vanillas, some flour, and gummy worms. We are so childish at this moment.

"Hahaha look at you, Snow White! You are covered with ingredient of a cake hahaha," he said laughing with his tongue out

" How about you? You are like a chocolate ice cream with some frostings hahaha " I said while still teasing to throw some foods.

I am running to go after him when I slipped on the floor because of some watery foods we are throwing. I'm just closing my eyes until I will fall but I didn't. Dave catch me.

"Are you okay, Snow White? " he asked. But I couldn't let my eyes away from his eyes. It was so red like a fire. A fire that eating me alive with something I can't describe. He is looking at me intently like observing me. Like he won't look at me like that again.

" Hey you two, what are you doing?! " the staff called us.

" What did you do to our store?! " he said. He is so mad.

" AT OUR OFFICE NOW! " and we are in trouble.

We are here at the office of the management. And they are scolding us right now because of what we did earlier to their store which is now messy and dirty.

" If our CCTV staff didn't saw both of you, you will not stop, won't you? " he said

" You have to pay for all foods and items you used and as a part of our policy, you will clean the mess you two made. Understand? " he said with a red face. He is so mad at us.

" Yes sir," I said but Dave is not talking.

" You go first, I will catch up okay? " he said in a calm voice.

" Okay" I went to where we did our childish act and I couldn't stop smiling. It was fun. I didn't think Dave has that side. I thought that he will beat me like what he is doing with our classmates but no. Maybe Dave is not a bad guy after all but I will not let my guard down. I need to be careful.

Dave arrived and grabbed my hands leaving our mess behind.

" Hey, we need to clean,"I said as he dragged me out of the store.

" Nah, no need. Before we go home let's change, okay?" Yup, we really need to change our clothes. We are a mess, literally.

" Okay, but how about the payment? " I said trying to compute how much it cost.

"It's about 119.56 dollars all in all Dave! " I exclaimed. Oh my. I don't have that kind of money how will we pay the store.

" I know how much it was Snow White. I'm good at Math too, you know. Don't worry, it is all settled." It was paid by him?

" By you? Where did you get that kind of money? " I'm staring at him

" By my allowance. Come on don't be such a bummer there. Let's change. " he said.

Dave is leading the way and we entered a store that has expensive clothing lines.

"Hey, I can't afford clothes like this. " I said I know they are expensive because I am fond also of magazines. This Clothing line is one of the top 5 most popular in the whole world. Its name is Flash Glam.

" Don't worry, it's on me today," he said smiling. Oh my. It's the first time I see Dave smiling. I saw him laughing but it's a different thing.

" You're not gonna kidnap me or what right? And I can't pay you back! " I said to him. I can't even pay with the damage I did last time even if it will be half on me and on Dave.

He just stared at me with cold eyes.

" Just kidding, hehe, " I said with a peace sign.

Women in their young 30's welcomed us. Oh my, she is the owner of this store.

" Dave, what happened to you and to what's your name dear? " she looked at me with concern.

" I'm Snow, Ma'am," I said politely

" Don't Ma'am me but maybe you can call me MOM. " I'm shocked

"MOM! " Dave said. Wait what? ! Mom? Dave's mother is Leonor Fox? The owner of Fash Glam?! I'm still shocked.

"Oh sorry, Son. You can call me Leonor dear. Are you my son's girlfriend? " That question shocked me more. Yep, she is really Dave's mom. It really runs to their blood being playful and such.

I took a deep breath before answering.

" No, I'm not. I'm his classmate. " I said politely and calmly.

"Oh is that so? Why are you holding hands then? " And it made me look at our hands and it's true. I immediately let go of my hands from his.

"Mom, it's nothing. " Dave said never expected that Dave is whining. It made him cute. Wait what.? I mean no.

"Come, dear. Go wash there. And I will personally give you your clothes. Okay? " I nodded. Dave went to the showers I think and their staff leads me to the washroom.

Oh my. What kind of day is this?
