Warfare Is More Complex

Intrigued by Luo Yin's reply, Li Mingze inquired with a sense of curiosity, directed towards him, "Why's that?"

Luo Yin, with a composed demeanor, replied, a faint smile gracing his lips, "It is a mere fantasy. A small group of soldiers planning to make large upheavals against the two hegemonic existences is not a part of reality."

"To begin with, who are we to decide the course of this world, who are we to change the power balance, who are we in the end? Are we even qualified? Do we possess that ability? The ability to overthrow the world?"

"What we can do at most is perhaps creating a small resistance against the two hegemonic existences which will most likely be crushed in no time."

"The simple answer is None. There is no way to end it. In front of the almighty, no strategy is ever going to be fruitful." Luo Yin concluded.

Li Mingze furrowed his brow, his discerning gaze fixed on Luo Yin as he thought for a moment and replied, "So, it's an impossibility, huh?"

"That is right, it is an impossibility." Luo Yin mused with a crushing smile on his face, "If it was possible, wouldn't I have already made my move?"

"One more thing," With a serene smile, Luo Yin continued, "Let us also dispel the notion that this war of futility can be resolved through peaceful means. Politics and warfare are realms where violence and ruthlessness often prevail."

"Once upon a time, there was a certain descendant of the Emperor who was split apart from the Imperial family and was raised in the embrace of the Alliance."

"When this individual grew up, he was driven by a fervent desire to establish peace between the Empire and the Alliance, employing nonviolent methods to rally the masses. Ultimately, he ascended to the throne and succeeded in achieving peace between the warring factions."

Luo Yin's tone carried a hint of irony as he continued, "Yet, do you know what transpired merely a few years later?" He chuckled softly, "The proponent of nonviolence met a violent end. Quite the paradox, wouldn't you agree?"

"His preaching of nonviolence, though noble in intent, was a flawed philosophy when it comes to the realm of politics and warfare," Luo Yin explained further. "Attempting to implement such ideals in these domains is akin to putting the cart before the horse. History bears no evidence of such an occurrence. It's like trying to cook without fire, an impossibility."

Pausing for a moment, Luo Yin's smile remained as he concluded in a diplomatic tone, "In the pursuit of a righteous cause, even violence can be transformed into a war of righteousness. But in this scenario, the doors of violence and non-violence, both are closed for us."

His words carried a sense of conviction, emphasizing the complexity and pragmatic nature of politics and warfare.

"Such is the reality? Truly a cruel fate. All they could do is wait till it's all gone... But if it's all gone, the outsiders won't hesitate to interfere," Li Mingze reflected quietly for a moment, his gaze fixed on the intricate hand-painted murals adorning the walls of the Grand Pavilion.

"Humanity is truly on a course to collide unaware of the obstacles that fate has prepared for them. The Devas won't return... the current situation of the Expanse is not ideal... the Grand Dark Beings of Other Shore must be stopped."

He couldn't help but feel a sense of fate guiding him towards this moment, and a determination to fulfill his duty in aiding Luo Yin in his endeavor.

"I guess the time has finally come. The Lord must be awakened to guide this World away from the them," He thought.

After a brief pause, Li Mingze spoke up, "Your explanations, respected Admirals, reassure me that you are indeed seasoned warriors who possess a deep understanding of the intricacies of both the sides." His voice carried a tone of respect and admiration for the Admirals' expertise.

"In fact, it seems like I have stumbled upon some of the most knowledgeable Admirals in both the Empire and the Alliance."

Li Mingze fell silent again, lost in thought, the Admirals exchanged glances, sensing the weight of the moment.

The senior among them seemed lost in reverie, as if recalling distant memories from the past.

The room remained hushed as the Admirals maintained their composed stance, patiently awaiting Li Mingze's next words, recognizing the significance of the senior's contemplation.

The air was charged with anticipation, as the gravity of the situation hung palpably in the air.

Li Mingze cleared his throat and addressed the esteemed Admirals of both the Empire and the Alliance, "Gentlemen, I believe it is evident that none of you desire this prolonged conflict to continue any further."

Mu Kongdong, with his usual genial smile, interjected, "Indeed, I am confident that everyone in this hall shares the same sentiment. After all, many of us have lost our precious brothers in this war."

The nodding heads of the Alliance Admirals indicated their agreement, though their inner thoughts remained elusive.

Li Mingze acknowledged their concurrence with a nod and a smile. "Excellent. Your esteemed positions are well-deserved. In that case, as a gesture of respect, I am willing to offer my assistance and provide you with help. However, I have one condition."

The room fell into a hushed silence as all eyes turned towards Li Mingze, awaiting his condition with bated breath.

The gravity of the situation hung in the air, as the outcome of this conversation could shape the future of the conflict between the Empire and the Alliance.
