CHAPTER 68
Su watched as her daughter walked in with an unenthusiastic slouch,her head hanging down in depression.
"Hey!What happened?".Su asked,picking her nose.
"Nothing!".She whispered and collapsed onto the nearest seat.
"Did you just cry?".Su lean closer to get a clearly look but Gowon wipe her hand off and shot to her feet."I said no!!".
"Is that baby boy isn't it?".Lin guessed.
"No!!".She denies.
Klaus,Gowon elder brother,hobbles his way into the sitting room where is family were gathered.
"Whatsup people!!".He shouts,lifting the bag of drugs in thrum air.
Su hold her nose and glare at him in disgust."Don't tell me you're high,huh?".She rushed at him and hit him on the head."You turned out this way because of that girl,you stink!!".
"Let the boy live his life,darling".Lin added.
"What!!!".She scowl."Live his life this way huh??".
Gowon looked at her family disappointment.'Can't she just have a peaceful home for once?Can't her family be as normal as others'.
She just wanted her baby to have a normal life like everyother family.
Her,Teddy and her child.
She doesn't want him to turn out like them,her mother a street fighter,her father,an ex convict and her brother was as high as an idiot.
She just wanted a peaceful home and that only Ted could give her but now she was stuck with this family along with her baby.
Emotions heave in her heart and she burst into tears."Hey!!Morons!!Am pregnant".
Her statement left them all bewildered.
"P...p...pregnant?".Su manage to say.
"Yes-".
"Whose responsible?".She heard her father ask.
"Who else but that jerk!!".She scream and flew into her room,slamming the door hard.
At dawn,Reuben,Madison and Susan was already set for their flight to America.
They booked a flight as early as possible and before the lights hit the sky they left for America to begin their new life not letting their family and friends know.
In America,Susan received treatment from one of the best hospital but after five months,no progress and at last she died.
Madison cried like never before and Reuben stayed by her side at every moment and months past and at last she gave birth and was named after her mother Pattie.
For four days,Gowon hasn't left her house,she avoided work and avoided him.
Her parents and brother was gravely worried and they has no other choice but to seek Trina.
Trina knocks as Klaus opened the door for her."Sup?Tri".He greeted and step aside as she step in.
"Hey Klaus,I heard Gowon isn't feeling well,what happened?".She question.
Su gave a long sigh."She said she was pregnant-".
"Pregnant!!!".Trina exclaims."Unbelievable".She snickers."T...Ted couldn't have".She burst into laughter.
On seeing Su cold expression,Trina laughter dies off."Where is she now,Aunt?".
She pointed at her room."Go to her".
Trina nods and made her way to Gowon's room and she opens the door as a strange smell hits her nostril."Good lord,Gowon,this smell is bad for your baby".
Gowon sent her a deadly glare."If you're here to tease,just leave".She said and coil herself like her sleeping baby.
"I might not understand how it feels to know you're going to train this child alone,all I want you to know is that am ready to help you train him or her into someone better".She assured her and nestle her head to her shoulder."Dear,dear".She smoothed Gowon's hair.
Few days later.
A knock was heard on the door as Su dries her wet hands on her apron and pad her feet to the door and she opens it.
She was greeted with two unfamiliar faces and a familiar face and she frowns."What you doing here,Ted?".She question,her voice sounding dry and husky.
"Mrs.Su,let me introduce you to my parents,Mr and Mrs Oliphant.....Mom,dad,this is Mrs Su,Gowon's mother".He introduced.
Mrs.Oliphant exclaims."It's so nice to meet you,Su".
Su face scrunched in disdain on seeing her looking cheerful.
"Yeah,yeah,am so happy to meet the people who hurt my daughter,what a pleasure?".She said sarcastically."Cut to the chase,what the hell do you want?.
"Teddie here made a very wrong decision and we want to correct it".Mr.Oliphant answered and invited himself in as the rest follows.
"How rude!!".Su comments.
"Darling who the hell is at the.....,Who are you people?".Lin asked.
"Hi,Mr.Lin".Ted smiles awkwardly.
And Lin jumped to his feet."You're not welcome here!".
"Ow!Your the pretty boy that played and crashed my lil sis heart,huh?".Klaus chime in.
"Er...shouldn't you offer us something as your in laws-".
"Hey!Mrs.Barbie,you came here uninvited so don't request for anything but if you change your mind,i can offer you my fist!".Su growled as Lin dragged her back,shaking his head in disapproval. "W...wait,wait,did you just say in law?".She asked as it finally dawned on her.
Teddy's parents nods,smiling brightly.
"ARE YOU INSANE!!!".KLaus yelled."You rejected my sis after she told you how you stick your thing in her resulting to a baby and you what!You throw it at her face,do you know how humiliating it was for her!!!".
Ted lowered his head,disappointed at himself. "Am sorry".He apologized.
"Can we speak to her instead,no offence but you all scare me,you act like wilds animals".Mr.Oliphant says,not trying to offend any one but in the process upsetting everyone.
Link chuckles and laughs sardonically."Animals huh?Am gonna show you how animal enough we are!!".He retorts and launched at Mr.Oliphant as he cries out for help.
"Stop this!!".Mrs.Oliphant screams.
"Offer huh?Let's show you how we welcome our in laws".Su roared and grip her hair as the two women fought,scratching and dragging eachother hair.
Klaus shot a deadly glare at Ted."Better start running bunny cause when I get hold of you,i will roast you for lunch".
Not being told twice,Ted ran around the room,trying to escape from Klaus.
The entire family of Gowon was all crazy.Was this really going to be his future in laws ????.
The door suddenly burst open as two drunk ladies step in and the entire family freezed on a spot.
One was Trina and the other was Gowon.
"We're back!!!".They both chorused as she burst into laughter.
"Gowon!!Did you drink????Did you forget you're pregnant!!".Ted scolds.
