CHAPTER 67

The atmosphere in the mansion was terrifying especially when Madison was glaring at the two elders before her with nothing but hatred and bitterness.

"Lower your gaze,you insolent girl!!".Mr.Jason growled.

Madison chuckled in disbelief. "Insolent girl huh?The only one I see that is arrogant and mannerless people are you two!".She retorts.

Mrs.Lillian slammed her hands against the table."How dare you!!".

"No how dare you,you dare bring in his ex to what?To lower my self esteem,to disgrace me?".She click her teeth."You are so shameless!!".

"Maddy is enough".Reuben pleads,trying to calm her down.

"I would never let a person like you in my family!".Mr.Jason said grimly while pointing at her.

Madison laughs sardonically before saying."Jokes on you oldman,am pregnant with your grandson".

Her statement left everyone speechless.

Hastily,Lillian shot to her feet,pointing her long fingers at her."You would never become part of this family".

Madison got to her feet too,upsetting the table."To hell with you two,am going away with your dear grandson and son".She laughs on seeing the expression on her face and storm off as Lillian suddenly clench her hand to her chest.

"M...My heart".

"Nanny call an ambulance,now!".Mr.Jason ordered as Linda panics.

Finally getting over such shocking news,Reuben ran after Madison.

"Madison wait".He yanked her by the wrist,pulling her back."You're pregnant?How?When?Where?

Goodlord!".He exclaims.

The smile on her lips,fades off in an instance. "What do you mean by 'Good lord'?You don't want the baby?".She asked as she started to break down.

"No...no...no,i want it,I want it,I want my child....no,our child".

Reuben went on one knee and looked up at Madison his eyes filled with love and affection.

"Madison".He calls."I...I don't have any idea on what am going but...but all I want you to know is that you're the one for me and no one can decide that for me,throughout my life the most beautiful moment is when I saw you and when I fell for you,you're everything to me and am willing and happy to be the father of my baby and a good husband to you if only you will do me the favour of marrying-".

Not waiting for him to complete his statement she silenced him with her kiss and she pulled away as she help him up."Of course,I will marry you".And she threw her arms around him,screaming for joy as Reuben spins her around.

"I love,i love you".He kept murmuring as she sealed her lips with him,kissing him with everything built inside of her.

"WHAT!!!!".Ted spat out the water."P...pregnant?".

"Yes,am pregnant with your baby".She replies with a big smile plastered across her lips.

"Is this a joke,Gowon?".

She shook her head."Hey!Don't tell me you don't want this?".

"I do but later b...but now i need to accomplish my dream,am still schooling and making a life for me and you another one is a...a...distraction".

Gowon couldn't believe this was coming from the soft hearted Ted she knew,'How dare he say this to her?'.

"So you don't want our child right??".She asked and he shook his head.

"Am sorry".He said sincerely.

"After you had stick that thing in me,now you're rejecting me huh!!!".She yelled,earning curious gaze.

"Gowon,please calm down,let's talk later--".

"Do you think am ready for this child huh?Do you think is my fault you don't know how to put a fucking condom!!!".Gowon asked again as she started to tear up.

Ted face turned red with embarrassment and humiliation."Let's go,Gowon".He tries to touch her but she step back avoiding his touch.

Two security men halts before them and one of them said.

"Am sorry Sir and ma'am but you have to leave,you're causing a scene".He demands.

"Shut up!!".Ted and Gowon both chorused.

"I said to leave".He held Ted by the arm."Leave...ahhh!".He yelp in pain as Gowon twisted his hand behind his back.

"You don't get to hurt my man unless it's me"She warns."Now Scram!!".She shove him away as the other security launch at her.

Gowon kicked him at his groin and threw a blow at his face causing him to stagger backwards.

Before she could attack him again,Ted quickly yanked her hand and drag her out of the restaurant while apologizing to everyone.

Once they step outside,Gowon violently swat her hand away from his.

"This is the damn reason I can't take you somewhere fancy!!".He scolds.

"Ow now it's my fault huh!!".

"Enough".He sigh while smoothing his furrowed brows."Am not just ready,Gowon-".

"Then i should get rid of him,huh!huh!".She questioned while hitting his chest as she started to tear up.

"Am sorry...".

Angrily,she somersaulted and threw a hard kick at his face causing him to spit out blood and fall to the ground,looking up at her in daze.

"G..G...Go..Gowon".He stutter unable to say a word.

"If you don't want to be a father then go to hell!!!".She growl and ran off.

The Next Day

After school,Madison went to pick up her mother who was going to be discharged today.

After packing her mother's belongings in the hospital room,they both matched their way to the receptionist post.

The Carolina handed a document to her."Sign here,Madison".She instructs.

Madison nods and did as she was told.

"I would miss you ma'am Pattie,don't take my words the other way,am not trying to say you should stay here forever am just-".

"I get it dear".Pattie laughs."I would miss you too".

"Oh come here,ma'am".Carolina lean closer and embrace her before pulling away."I heard you're taking her abroad for treatment,your boyfriend right?You just got yourself a big fish".She winked at her.

Madison laughs."Bye Carolina".She waves and led her mother outside.

"What!You two are engaged and my daughter is pregnant?Is this a blessing or what!".Pattie exclaims."I can't believe this,so when are we meeting your parents,Reuben?".

"Ow that".He itched his hair."Well,we all aren't in good terms".

Pattie face fell into a frown."They hate my daughter right?".

"Am afraid to say this but yes,ma'am".He replies.

"No need to worry yourself over that".They head Madison say,trying to desperately change the topic."We need to pack up for tomorrow,am so excited to see America".She said with a hint of excitement in her voice.

"Do you like eachother?".They suddenly heard Pattie ask.

"I love him,mother".She said with seriousness.

"Likewise ma'am".He added.

Pattie nods her head and smiled."Then I give you my blessing,children".
