Chapter Seven: Meeting the Moon Goddess.

Ezra had been on suicide watch every night since Ana tried to fillet her arms. He was losing a great deal of sleep at night. He watched the woman sleep in his bed, as he fought the urge to take her every single night. Cold showers were barely working anymore. He was meeting up with Courtney or Christy during the day a couple times a week, trying to quell the raging hormones he had now. He thought to serve two perposes, his mates hate, and the relief of his constant hard-ons. This had been going on since the first time when Courtney came in grinding on him. He thought then it would be the perfact way to keep distance between Ana and himself. Ana was still sleeping in his room every night mostly because he wouldn't allow her any time to herself, he even had people watching her pee now. Ana was woken from sleep with a pain in her chest and stomach. She gabbed her pained areas and ran for the door. Ana couldn't understand her mate. He'd kissed her, told her she couldn't leave him, But he is still sleeping with everything that will crawl into his bed, or lap rather since he forced her to sleep in his room. Opening the door to her own room, Ana went in laying on her bed knowing her wolf was going to knock her out. She didn't take the pain or lock those memories away from her human. So Ana knew every pain and had every memory he gave us. The good and the bad. Ana has to make the decision to keep or reject our mate and she would need all her memories to make the correct decision. Also Ana made the choice to remain present during our mates abuse. I will knock her out if the pain is too much though. Like it is now. But she retains those memories. He isn't just kissing another female, Ana can not be excpected to feel this.

" Okay Aaliyah do your worst." Ana told her wolf, giving the over protective animal her permission to knock her on her ass.

" Ana, I will watch over us. I promise you." Aaliyah promised her.

" I am only trying to help you cope with the pain, my Little One." Ana heard Aaliyah wisper in her head as she fell asleep.

Ana was floating in the darkest part of her mind again. She wasn't sure what to call the place where she goes when Aaliyah puts her to sleep. It just feels like she was floating around in the darkness. She had been floating for what seemed like forever, until she wasn't. She wasn't floating any more she was... well, she was falling now. She landed in a lake or a pond, the funny part was she wasn't afraid of drowning. Climbing out of the lake/pond thing Ana looked around at her surroundings. There was little fairy lights twinkling all around her, a waterfall cascaded down from somewhere, Ana couldn't see the top of the thing. It looked like it just fell from the sky into the pond.

" Aaliyah?, Where are we? How long was I out? Did someone bring us here and leave us out here?" Ana was questioning her wolf but was reciving no answer. Ana was pacing back and forth in front of the pond thing.

" Aaliyah? Why are you not answering me?" Ana asked a bit upset now.

" Anabella Mera Caulder?" A soft voice called from somewhere I couldn't see. The lake/pond thing maybe, I looked in the direction of the beautiful body of water I fell into. Looking up I saw a beautiful woman walking across the water towards me. Yes I said across, not around. She had Long Silver Blonde hair with Golden hughes in it. She was wearing a long White gown that drug the ground when she walked, but when she crossed the water her clothing wasn't wet not even around the hem where it drug the ground.

" I am dead right? My mate found me knocked out on my ass by my own wolf no less and killed me while I was helpless. Is that what happened Lady?" Ana asked kind of sarcastically, but she wasn't sure why.

" No child, you are most certainly alive. Only asleep. But if I may child." The lady began.

" Why is it when I choose to bring one of my blessed children here so that we may speak to one another, they always assume that they are dead?" The beautiful lady asks almost laughing at the idea.

" Is it not a beautiful place to relax and talk to ones creator, peaceful even?" The lady asked Ana, smiling at her a little bit.

" Ummm, yeah hentz dead." Ana said flatly.

" Explain?' The lady continued to quetion her.

" Well no place on earth is this beautiful, or this peaceful, So I must be where Shifters go when they pass away. Like the humans Heaven, but here my wolf and I can remain together. You understand now?" Ana asked the beautiful woman before her.

" Yes I think I do." The lady in White said.

" Okay so why am I here, and why did you call me one of your Blessed Ones? And, why the fuck can't I reach my wolf?" Ana exclaimed.

" First, language Please child. Second I am Selene the Moo..." Selene began to explain only to get cut off by a screaching Ana.

" You mean Selene the freaking Moon Goddess. Selene the creator of all things shifter and supernatural?" Ana squealed in a high pitched tone.

" Yes child, the very same. Now Ana, I have some things I need to tell you." Selene said.

" I will explain all I can to you. First, you can not reach your wolf because I have put her to sleep ( You know good for the goose and all that jazz Ana thought.) I will wake her soon I promise she is perfactly safe. I need to talk to you without her commintary. Some of what I have to say is for you alone, then some of what I need to say is for your wolf, and some of it for you both. Now Ana, Ezra is your Destined Mate. I know he is not treating you like a mate should. He is afraid his wolf will harm you so he treats you like you do not matter to him. In truth he does care for you while he is treating you badly he is still watching over you and even kicked the tails of some of his male warriors that have dared to look at you, but he killed the one that said he wanted to take you as a mate." Selene told her. "It is going to take something drastic to get him to fully commit. Something that will make him see, if he continues to treat you in this way, you will leave him and go to a place he can not reach. Not while living anyway. I know he has stopped you on several occations from harming yourself. Ana you can not be killed by most of the conventional ways. You must stop trying, it will not work. You can not take your own life no matter what you try. I will explain it to you. For you to get Erza to soften toward you, you will need to go to the Northside of the pack territory. There is a cliff there, one that is sentimental to your mate, both the human and the beast. He will not allow you to go over I promise you that, but you must do exactlly like I say. After he again allows his loose women to place hands on him in the ways it hurts you to bare, run from the pack house and to the cliff, make sure you are seen to begin with by his siter she will go to him, then make sure you are seen by others as you run. Go to the cliff, peer over and jump. It is that simple." Selene said.

Ana's eye widened at the help Selene was offering her, in the way to get her mate to accept her.

" Umm, Selene you just told me to stop trying to kill myself, you said it won't work so I should stop trying. So why sould I just jump from a bloody damn cliff?" Ana asked.

" Well child the cliff is special to Ezra as well as Maddox, one day he will tell you why. Ana he would not let you fall over that cliff he will give chase after his sister goes to him. He will catch up. He will not let you fall over the edge. Trust me child you will never go over." Selene told Ana with a small smile on her face, it was a conniving smile actully.

" I know he doesn't want me. What if you are wrong about him?" Ana asked her shyly.

" I am never wrong, but I do miss things at times. I have so many children that some things slip through the cracks. Ana where you and Ezra are concerned I didn't miss it entirely . I misread the out come at first, but I didn't miss it. You two just had, two possible futures which is why you are fated mates. You each need the other." Selene said.

" I will do as you ask, if he lets me jump then at least I will no longer have to hurt when he finds his comfort in anothers arms." Ana said sadly.

" Now, Aaliyah come forth and stand beside your human." Selene commanded the wolf. Not bothering to tell her again that it wouldn't kill her if he did let her jump and land at the bottom of the cliff. Hurt her, yes, but it would not kill her.

Ana began to protest, seeing as how she and Aaliyah are essentially the same person, it would be impossible for her to stand beside her. Right?

" Selene she and I are..." She shushed me... I was shushed by the bloody Moon Gossess. Ana thought.

" I know what you are about to say Ana. I assure you that she can. You and your wolf seperated when you were Five she is a being of her own living within you. But then there is no one on this planet that she loves as much as she loves you my darling, not even your mate. She would happily kill him if only you wouln't hurt also. She does not take people hurting her human so well. She is and has been the death of so many because of your tears my dear one." The Moon Goddess told her, indicating with her hand that Ana should look at her right side.

She did as biden and looked down. There stood the most beautiful wolf she has ever seen. She was huge with white and silver fur that appeared to have Golden tips, but her eyes were the most beautiful. They were of a color no one had seen before. Her Eyes were Vilot Golden. She nudged Ana's hand in a show of admaration, then looked up at the Moon Goddess. Ana rubbed her hand over her wolf still in shock at her appearance.

" Aaliyah you have done well in protecting and keeping your human counter part safe. You have kept your presents hidden as well as protected your human from all the things that would destroy her humanity. I am proud of you my Luner/ Mistic. You have done well, but child you have protected her in the wrong way. You are going about protecting your little human a bit backwards. I understand your thinking but she must have her memories Aaliyah. You must allow them to her. You knew that keeping her safe and keeping your exsistance secret was important, and you did it so well that not even your mate, man or beast knows that you are here. Not for sure anyway, they both think Ana is more than human but can't be sure. It was in this way that no one not even your mate could use you for your gifts. He will and does love you both even if he isn't aware of you Aaliyah. He needs to be shown that he would rather live with knowing his wolf could and would kill you. Then live with knowing you will end yourself rather than be hurt like he is hurting you. It is then that man will stop his nonsence. First you will tame the man, then you'll tame his wolf..... your wolf Mate." Selene explained.

" Aaliyah it is not safe for you to continue as you have been. Ana needs those memories with her as well. In this way you will both share the pain of your past." Selene said to the wolf.

" She will not do well with them Goddess, She tries to hurt us when I am to tired to hide them and some of them leak through. I do tell her the truth when they do come forward. She can not handle the brunt of them." Aaliyah said.

" Aaliyah, if you continue to hold all the hate inside you for those that hurt your human, you will go savage. I do not want that for you. You and Ana are important for so many. Including your mate and those that would and have hurt him. You are going to be a force my dear one." Selene told her hoping she would listen. As a goddess she can not really interfear but she can put her back on the right track for what is to come. It is ultamitly her dicision to allow Ana to regain the memories she has locked away. Once Aaliyah agrees then she can tell her when to give them back.

" What if they damage my human Goddess? What if she becomes hateful or violent. Her lovable spirit is worth saving. She is such a light to all who know her." Aaliyah tried to explain her reasons.

" Ana will be fine, nothing can put out her light. She is a light to those who know her, she is only the light to those who would not dare to drown it out. Aaliyah she is being kind to those who would see her harmed or even killed because she does not know their truth. Who they are deep inside. Those individuals do not deserve her love, but her rath. Do you understand why this must change? Ana and you, Aaliyah must become the wolf shifter you were meant to be. That can not happen until Ana has all of herself, her memories, and the confidence that will come with it all." Selene said.

" Yes Goddess, I will do as you ask." Aaliyah agreed some what reluctantly.

" You will regain all that you have lost the minute you and Aaliyah are rejoined as one. Ana you will know when to inform your mate of your wolf and your past. It must be done before you allow a mating mark. You must fully trust him in all ways before you can allow the mate mark to take. Ana you and your mate had a bad start in life. You were only a baby when it started for you, your mate was a bit older. You were no more than a baby when first I set my eyes upon you, not even yet born. I came to you in your mother womb. I had seen a glimps of your future, well one of them anyway. It was at that time I decided to bless you as a Luner Wolf. I knew you were going to need the power that would provide. You can heal others besides yourself with one touch or kiss. You can also kill with one bite. It will not hurt your mate to mark him child." Selene said chuckling a bit at Ana's thoughts.

Ana had thought she could kill her mate while marking him. This thought terrified her.

" You must bite a person with the intent to kill them, you have venom glands behind your K-nines that will at that point release the toxin you carry. The next time I laid my eyes on you was when you were two years old. You were badly hurt, you had broken bones and you were bloodied. You at the age of two and in the condition you were in had unknowingly called out to the dorment spirit inside you..."

" Aaliyah." Ana whispered.

" Aaliyah." The Moon Goddess repeated.

" Even then you had a strong will to live. You had been badly beaten for asking the Alpha to read you a bed time story the night before, the Luna became jealous and beat you. You were so badly hurt that she feared you'd die. She took you into the woods leaving you there thinking she could blame your death on Rogues. You did not die, instead I came to you as you had cried out to me as well for we are linked. I saw then that I had misjudged your circumstances at first, so I allowed the bond between human and animal to fully form allowing the shift. As Aaliyah came forth she saw your need, that was the first time she blocked your memories. She then shifted into the animal she was and healed your wounds. As the shift began I blessed you a second time giving you both the full powers of the Mistic, making you the first ever Luner/Mistic Wolf to exsist. I explaind to your wolf that night what this would mean. She has done a brillent job in following my orders. No other shifter has ever gotten their wolf at such a young age. The shift for the first time for you should have taken place at the age of sixteen and only when the moon was full and at its highest peak in the night sky. You were beaten on the day the moon would fill, so that night you shifted perfactly. That was Adaline Green's mistake though she wasn't aware of it. You, Ana have unbelieveable power. Aaliyah knows everything you need to know and once you are both together again and you are truely one you will know all that she does. This will fix your wolf and keep her sane. It will not effect the fact that you can shift into your wolf eather completely or only half shift. You will still be able to shift only parts of your body as needed." The Moon Goddess continued to explain all this bizzarre shit to her. Ana hadn't known she could shift like that or that she had all this power. Aaliyah had told her many times that they were powerful, but damn, what the fuck? She couldn't understand why Aaliyah had kept so much from her. She also couldn't understand why they had endured all that shit at Dariens hands, all the wolf would say is it was necessary that they do and not run away from the pack they were currently in. She was actually a little pissed off now that she thought about it. She could have killed the bastard and run away. But Aaliyah had told her that where they could excape, it wasn't wise. She never told her how it was that they could excape though. Okay fuck this shit someone is going to explain this totally absured convertion she was have with the bloody Moon Goddess of all fucking people. Ana opened her mouth to voice that very point when the Moon Goddess scolded her again.

" Language again my child. Ana please do not forget that I am your creator and as such can read your every thought. Now to answer your many questions." Selene said smiling at the confused girl.

" Aaliyah was only following my instrutions, not completely mind you as it was never my intention for her to lock away your memories or to shut you out when the bad things happened. That was her way of pertecting all the goodness she felt inside of you. I told her that you must remain in the Red Dawn pack because after your circumstances had changed soon after your birth it was only there you would have meet your mate. It was important that you meet him, because where all Shifters have a second chance mate you and Ezra do not. I knew that he would wish to reject you but only because he fears for you. You must show him that you can handle his wolf." The Goddess told her.

" But Selene if he fears his own wolf then how am I suppose to handle him. I do not understand why all of this is happening to me. I understand why you gifted me with the powers you have. I understand why Aaliyah kept some of my memories away from me, granted I am not happy about that fact. But, I do understand her motive. I do not understand why I got stuck with this asshole of a mate. One that has made it clear he doesn't want me or any mate. What if he simply rejects me once he finds out that he has no other mate?" Ana asked.

" It works like the bond you share Ana. You tried to reject him but he refused it, something that is almost unheard of. Then he tried to forcably mark you but you were able to reject the forced mark, something that is definitely unheard of. Your bond to each other was forged by me, true that I created the mate bond between all wolf shifter. The bond is designed to snap into place between two compatable wolves once eye contact is made. Though sincing your mate in the same room as you is not uncommon the actual bond will not begin until the couple makes that contact. This is not the case for you and Ezra. I forged the bond between you so that you could sinse each other from a few miles distance. That is why you didn't need eye contact to know he was your mate and the same happened with him and Maddox. You only had to be in close proxsimity to each other to feel the mate bond pulling at your hearts. It was a fail safe for the two of you since you were being held captive. I wanted your mate to know you were in those pack lands. I could not be certin you would be able to see him, so I created a special bond between the two of you. The moment Derian locked the attic door your mate bond changed." The Goddess said.

" But he left me there, basically rejected me, called me worthless, and said I should have been fed to the wildes at birth." Ana protested.

" Yes he was a donkey's hind end." The goddess began.

Ana chocked on the air she was breathing then said.

" He was an asshole. He has hurt every part of me he can without actually touching me." She said.

" As I was saying, he was a Donkey's hind end and managed to leave you at the pack house. He did not make it that far. He never even left the packs boarders. He, nor the wolf he harbors could leave you there. If they had managed to get off the packs land the bond would have drivien him mad. He would have come back either way. The bond is so strong that you are both bound by it. It would not matter how you tried to break it, it will not ever completely severe. A bond that you can reject but it will never completely sever as you are the soul mate to the other." Selene said.

" Yes but why?" Ana whined.

" Because you and Ezra complement each other in a way that no one else could ever match. It was always your destany to end up togther. It was only a matter of how that would be accived due to the actions of others. You and Erza have had hard lives because of others jealousy and hatred. You will be the one to heal his wolf and his soul, he will become the one that is your enforcer, even though you do not need one. You have more power than any living mortal to ever harbor within their bodies. Now on to your mate. I feel that you will need some background to help you help him." The Goddess said smiling a bit.

" As I said before, Ezra was a lot older when the tragedy struck that altered his life course. I am sure when you get closer to him he will tell you his own story. There is so much more to it than the public knows. He and Maddox has never fully shifted as you saw the state of his shifted form on the last full moon. Because of this and the terrible circumstances that caused his early shift. Though he wasn't two he was still quit young at only twelve. He should not have been able to call his wolf spirit forward, however that seems to be a going trend with the two of you. Like you he should not have shifted until the age of sixteen. He witnessed the murder of his father, and the pain that caused allowed him to call upon the shifter in himself purely out of rage. He has been raging ever since. He takes his anger out on the Omega population because it was an Omega woman, one that was trusted and loved by his family that killed his father before his very eyes. He thinks all Omegas especially woman are all power hungry and after a title only to stab the person that loves them in the heart. He needs to learn otherwise. It is for this reason, until you trust that he truely loves you, both man and beast you can not reveal that you are not what you seem. You can heal his past the same way you must heal your own. Aaliyah must allow you to feel everything she has kept hidden, then you must get Maddox to do the same for Ezra." Selene continued.

" Selene!" Ana shreaked forgetting she was yelling at a Goddess for shifters sake.

" How am I supposed to do that when you well know that neither man nor beast wants us as their mate. How do I get him to trust and love me when he doesn't even look my way or talk to me. He scoffs at me, yells at me for hurting myself, and looks at other females before me." Ana yelled.

" You will know how, I promise you will get through to him, you must. Now my darling I have really already said to much, and I honestly can not tell you anymore than I have. Ana you have been through what you have in life and yes to an extent I have allowed it, but only because it will be useful for what is still to come. The two of you will not have peace for long after you are mated. Your pasts will erupt into your futures and you must be mated when it does. So in this you must work quickly. I can't tell you how long but it will not be long before disaster finds you. You must show him that he loves you even now. Mate and mark each other, fully excepting each other. That is the only way he will servive what is to come. I really can't say anymore. I to must have rules to live by. I am not to directly interfer in the lives of my creations. I am only to lead and point in the right direction, However; I rarely interfer in my shifters lives. Ana, you child, you are special and you need my guidance more then most would because of the actions of others. Now, I have to put yours, as well as Ezra's lives, back on track. The man loves you he can't help himself, this is why he is trying so hard to run you off. By being with those females to cause you pain. Also Ana, even that is not what it seems to be. When he explains himself and tries to apologize listen to him. Accept his apology and forgive him of his ignorance in how to keep the only person he could possibly ever, truely, love, safe from his insane wolf. You must get to the man first, then the beast will follow once you figure out how to save him. One thing more sweetheart, you can command any wolf, Lycon,or supernatural ever to exsist. It works for you almost like an Alpha command would only stronger. You can force the shift on any wolf or Lycon. They do not have to belong to your pack for it to work. I gave you that power when I gave you a mistics power. You can not however command your mate to love you. You must find your own way into his heart, you are already half way there without even trying." Selene said as she began to fade away.

" How am I to do that when my mate is an evil asshole, how do I fix that?" Ana asked the disappearing form. Selene chuckling, she replied.

" You will know child I promise, I have all the faith in the world in your ability to make even the most stubborn see things your own way. You said it yourself." Even the most evil of beings has good in them. You just have to care enough to find it". Ana I have been sheilding you so that we could talk. It is time you woke now, you must go to the northside of the pack territory, and as soon as you wake you will feel everything, everything he is doing now and everything that has been hidden away from you. It will not be a far stretch for you to want to jump." Selene had disappeared moments ago her voice just a disembodied sound in Ana's head now.

As soon as the Moon Goddess had said those last words Ana was jerked awake. There was a pain in her body that was almost unbearable. Crying loudly she tried to get up.

" Aaliyah, can you lend me the strength to get up? This hurts so much. He must be having sex with his whores now." Ana said, her heart breaking at the thought.

" Yes Ana, but you are not through yet. I am so sorry." Aaliyah said. Then she let Ana's mind flood with 16 years of abuse that she had suffered at the hands of those she loved and thought loved her in return.

Ana screamed at the pain in her heart, and stomach, and now her head as the memories began to flood her mind wave after horrifing wave.

Ana's room door flew open and Kerrieanne stood in the doorway shocked at the state of her sister. She didn't care if her fucked up brother claimed her or not, she had. A long time ago. Kerrie ran over to Ana asking her what was the matter, but when Ana grabbed her own hair and tried to pull it from her head Kerrie knew what was going on. Only one thing could cause a she-wolf that much pain. She was going to murder her own fucking brother, that is all there was to it. He had turned his baby sister into their mother. She knew one day he would push her over the edge of her sanity with his backward way of doing things.

" Hang on Ana. I will go and stop him." Kerrie said but before she could stand and march out of the room to Ezras office, Ana ran from the room and not by the door. The damn woman had jumped out of the window. It was four stories high. Kerrie screamed as she knew the woman had finally killed herself. Slowly looking over the edge of the broken window to the ground, all she saw was black hair streaking across the pack grounds headed to the north. Oh my goddess Kerrie thought Ana had not been on a proper tour of the pack lands she had no idea that there was a cliff to the north. Linking Ezra Kerrie began yelling at her brother.

" Ezra!! You stupid bastard. She has jumped from her room window and run to the northside of the packs territory. She doesn't know, because you don't allow us to go there, or even mention the place. No one has shown her or told her. Ezra she is going to die, because you can't keep it your pants you fucking asshole." Kerrie was yelling forcing his link to connect because he had, had it blocked.

" What are you talking about Kerrie. She is in my room, asleep." Ezra stated. He knew that because he had checked on her, seen her sleeping in there before he met up with Courtany. It was true. He had let her get futher with her sexual talents this time then he had in their other encounters, but he still hadn't fucked the bitch. In fact he hadn't had actual intercourse with anyone. He didn't need to, it served his perpose just fine kissing, licking and tasting the sluts. Why would he fuck one of them when he didn't want to be like that with anyone. Except his own mate. Wait, Where the fuck had that thought come from? He did not want anyone like that. Did he?

Looking down he saw Courtany's head bobbing in his lap. The girl sucking him eagerly. The sight sickened him. He wasn't even really getting hard. Sure he was hard because the bitch was sucking his cock. But he wasn't as hard as he had been when he watched his mate sleeping in his bed at night. That had been being a real problem lately. His body wanted her, but his head was telling him to run. As far and as fast as he could. The problem with that was, he couldn't bare the pain that formed in his cold dead heart that only the thought, of her being away from him created. How could he bare the pain of her actually leaving him?

" No Ezra. I heard her screaming so I thought she had hurt herself again. I ran into her room and she was pulling her hair out. Literally. I told her to hold on because I was headed down to your office to kick your ass. Ezra, she has jumped out of bedroom window and ran North. She is going to run off that cliff its dark outside she can't see what is out there and no one has told her." Kerrie was crying now.

" FUCK!" Ezra shouted, out loud. Shoving the still sucking Courtney onto the floor.

" Get off me and go find someone else to fuck. It isn't going to be me.' He told her.

" But baby, we were having such a good time. You know you want me too." Courtney whined.

" You were having a good time, I was not. Two things Courtany. First, I am not your fucking baby. I am however your fucking Alpha. Second, I do not want you, I only want one woman. I can't have her, which is where you came in. Get it?" Ezra said looking down at her. He only then realized what he'd told the slut was true. He only wanted his mate. Well he was just scarewed wasn't he? As he had said before, he nor Maddox wanted to be touched by these bitches. But it served a perpose at the time, so he had allowed it. Well that is what he though anyway.

"Do not come to me in a disrespectful manner again. We will not be meeting under these cercumstanses anymore. Do I make myself clear?" Ezra said. Courtany nodded, then standing she gathered her clothes. "Good, now get your ass out of my office." Ezra said coldly as he stood up running for the door. He had to stop his mate from accidentally killing herself. Of all the times she has tried to rid this world of her presents. What was with his mate and jumping out of the fucking windows? Windows that are most definatly closed. She was going to manage to do it this time. Because he was an asshole, and she gone running blindly from his house. IN THE WRONG FUCKING DIRECTION.
