Chapter 6 : Battleforce

All of the Magi went crazy in greed and obsession and were internally competing to be the first ones to invade that world, the whole collective attention of Magi World was turned the land of the God's.

They were aware of the risks but also overconfident of their ability to once again cope up against a stronger foe and obtain another victory.

They finally decided to form large and powerful armies of Magi and rallied armies of Sword Gods and invaded the plane of the Gods.

The war waged by the Magi against the Gods lasted for thousands of years. Countless different civilizations and races on that plane were eradicated and the blood of countless Magi and Sword Gods tainted the battlefields.

No side emerged absolute victorious from that brutal war; both parties were left crippled and ravaged. The event was just as described by 'The War of Magi and Gods', blood stained the skies, countless brilliant stars fell like meteors, human greed triggered earth-shattering change and darkness enveloped the world.

Everything started to fall apart for the Magus as their root that nurtured and strengthen them suffered downfall with gradual depletion of the once omnipresent magical force, the world suffered an outlandish amount of backlash and it was crippled out of being what it once was, the depletion of magical power stripped those ancient Magi of their main source of power.

Obviously chaos and pandemonium ensued leaving behind a deadly trail of destruction and devastation. Historians opined that the end of the magic civilization and depletion of magical energy marked the end of magic age as the foundations for their technology had long been eroded.

According to them, magical energy did not just disappear. It was actually replaced by another force that could resonate with the magical beast factors in the bloodline of transfused humans that once again allowed the awakening of Battleforce.

Battleforce is the fragment of a once legendary history and achievement, a legacy left behind by the previous valiant rulers of the multiple worlds. Those fearsome truth seekers whose name itself shook many and forced them to cower.

There are still various tales and legends about Magi and that old arcane era full of mysteries and marvel, there are also some undiscovered dangerous areas which are rumoured to be related to it, and one such area is Allen's destination — Kemosin Ruin Islands.

The adventurers, mercenaries, nobles, scholars, historians and even royals of the Aryana Continent all visited those mysterious areas for decades and centuries.

They have actually obtained an unimaginable amount of riches but haven't had much success in finding anything relating to that era and progressing their knowledge of magic.

That previous glory and legendary tales was all but left in the annals of time and it could not be revitalized.

The island is full of resources but it's also riddled with a ridiculous amount of risk and danger. Various menacing, vicious and monstrous magical beasts roam the Kemosin Islands, and it's very suicidal to even think of visiting the Kemosin Ruin Islands without the power of at least a Silver ranked Battle Warrior.

After so many years of excavation, various treasures and resources have already been taken and exploited hence, adventures and researchers actually interested to go there aren't as many as they once used to be.

But the allure of a resource mine and the idea of getting lucky should not be underestimated as even now, a good amount of adventurer take huge risk of going there.

As well as many researchers who are obviously protected by skillful bodyguards.

The whole trip from Alwis city Zither Moritz Area, to the Kemosin Ruin Island takes around a month of sailing.

Currently, Allen was on a ferry on its way towards the island. Different from everyone else on the deck he preferred to mostly stay in his room because rather than gazing at the big bright blue sky and unending sea, Allen was more interested in something else currently.

Allen sat cross legged in his private room as he was mediating and thinking about his future cultivation.

Battleforce is the power of this world which is supported and suited to practice in, but it has its own demerits as well.

Obviously for people who want to hang onto anything they possibly can and become powerful, these problems are automatically ignored and erased but for someone like Allen who has lived two lives in an extraordinary world, it's not that simple.

He can't help but rethink his future path becoming a Battle Warrior and also somewhat formulate a way to fill up the shortcomings.

Allen in his previous life trained incessantly, he had the memories and experience of a mid-ranked shinobi which he used extensively in his third life.

In his third life, he grew accustomed to various exercises of modelling one's physical aptitude, and controlling the flow of internal energy as well as precise use of strength from the extremely meticulous Shinobi training methods.

While training he also gave the knowledge of the soul a try. He meticulously tried to understand the dynamic of its parameters from the few translated works he could comprehend and decipher the meaning and essence of the soul force.

Allen also memorized the meridians of the body while studying, as a medical students he has the modern human anatomy and physiology understanding.

His modern medical knowledge added with the vital power points, dantain, meridians, body constitution and circulation knowledge along with great practice of control from Shinobi world made him quite adept in this field.

All of this knowledge together was very complementary to each other, filling the many gaps for Allen. His understanding of various disciples were increased manifolds, from the human body knowledge to the meridian, and to the soul.

Although the application of said knowledge is somewhat different as the Battleforce energy is unique but it isn't something that couldn't be modified.

Allen is capable of carrying, modulating and adapting various ideas of the Shinobi and cultivation worlds in this world and also explore their feasibility and potential of synchronisation.

Allen might not necessarily be able to utilise that knowledge to the fullest potential but it would definitely give him a drastic edge over his others.

His biggest concern is his Battleforce technique, which is quite a headache as it inhabited the previous Allen growth for a long time.

The name of the Style's family Battleforce technique is the 'Blazing Lifeblood Rage technique.

'The Battleforce in the lower realms basically focuses on the external body and its raw power, it's fundamental mechanism is to actuate the bloodline and draw it's power.'

'The accumulation of bloodline force would lead then to a qualitative change in physical stat, of which the manifestation would in turn decide my Battleforce rank as well. But....' Allen thought to himself clearly knowing about the meaning of using only Battleforce power system, and the circumstances of throwing his other knowledge at the back of his head.

But he wasn't able to just let go of the untapped potential his knowledge has. Allen wouldn't be satisfied with himself if he doesn't give his absolute best in his future path.

"Battleforce is a superb power source and it's definitely much superior to the energy of the Shinobi world 'chakra'. "

"If two individuals at the same level were to combat against each other. Battleforce would definitely come out on top with the upper hand in sheer strength but, chakra is much more versatile and extensive in it's application."

"The things that chakra can do is absolutely mind blowing and it's development over the years in shinibi world was very ingenious and fabulous. Chakra not only stimulates but also meticulously manipulates the body. It may not be superior quality wise but on the basis of efficiency of being able to wield the energy, any Chakra user is far superior to an average Battleforce user." Allen has experienced all of these powers in his lifetime but Chakra is something he has only superficial knowledge off.

Although he has the experience and memories of Hiroki but that's not enough.

"Chakra is not something possible to use here, but what about soul force?" Allen smiled as he thought of this, chakra cannot be used because this world has different principles and laws of energy, but the same couldn't be said for soul force because it's definitely possible.

If not, then how could the waitress Riya be affected?

And here is the catch, if soul force can be trained and increased, then it would inadvertently increase the spiritual force in the body. And if the Battleforce can increase the physical prowess then, if Allen was somehow able to balance these two force with his experience of control and manipulation, can't he form Chakra too! ?

Although the energy itself isn't very high class, but its usage are numerous and can be applied in an extremely wide variety of circumstances.

Only thinking about them made Allen droll in fantasy, and that's not the end because he could also manifest an entirely new fourth energy which is an accumulation of these three and an exclusive power to him.

"Yes! It may not be easy, Heck! It may very well be impossible but who fucking care. I won't be satisfied until I give it a shot, I have to.....No! I need to try it. Only that would give me salvation." Allen clenched his hand as he body shivered in excitement and anticipation.

Previously in the soul cultivation world, by virtue of his villainous actions when he was Shen Fei, Allen was able to get his hands on a superior meditation technique from that paedophile monster. It was called <Cataclysmic Flame God Technique>

Of course that blonde bitch could have given him a wrong and faulty technique per say, but that idiot also had a weak point which was thoroughly exploited by Allen.

With his love on the line and an oath in her name, he had no choice but to kneel.

Allen obviously wasn't able to reap the benefits of that superior technique as much as he would like in that life, since he was killed shortly after but he still has that technique in his soul realm.

'The soul force technique may not be suitable with this world but it's still a powerful method, if nothing else I could yield great benefits by increasing my soul force even if the progress is much slower.' Allen stood up pacing around his room.

His problem isn't the soul power, nor chakra because that's a problem for future when he forms the balance between physical and spiritual parts of his body and creates a chakra circulation path.

Currently his only worry is something that he technically shouldn't have any problem with! It was the Battleforce technique.
