Chapter 5:"Carro: the next powerful warrior?"

Before striking the saiyan standing in front of me, I checked my stats.

I looked at the girl and smirked, this was my first time in this room in which I wasn't acting coldly — I still had [Gamer Mind] on, but that skill doesn't just turn my emotions off, instead it just lets me have total control over them, something far better I think.

I slightly tilted my body to avoid a Ki blast Carro threw at me, the explosion was far greater than any I had seen yet, she's definitely the strongest... Not counting me of course!

My legs shined, I kicked the ground and flew off at the same time to vastly increase my speed — I got to Carro in the blink of an eye and kicked her in the ribs, she surprisingly managed to block my kick, but I didn't think too much about it, I could simply increase the Ki usage in [Physical Buff]. Carro snarled and immediately counter-attacked with a Ki blast filled punch.

I flew off due to Carro's hit, damn it that's my technique! Although it IS very basic... Anyways, I used [Physical Buff] to avoid getting hurt too much, I managed to stabilize myself mid-air and get back to the fight — Carro bombarded me with kicks and punches, almost all of them were avoided thanks to my high Int, that caused my reflexes and thinking speed to be much better than most people — On top of it all, the blows that did connect were blocked to then trow a counter-attack.

Everyone was watching our battle with an astonished look on their face — Hell, even the ones that were fighting themselves turned back to look at us, it may not sound too weird for a regular person, but for a saiyan to stop fighting and look at another one it has to be an amazing battle.

Carro's HP fell down very quickly, meanwhile mine was only slightly affected and then completely regenerated after just half a minute, I clearly had the upper-hand.

I focused more Ki than what I usually put in my fist, making it intensely shine — And then, the very next moment, Carro got hit so hard by my punch that she ended up in the corner of the room.

I looked at her in the distance, she was charging a desperate Ki blast with barely any HP left, I wonder if she seriously thinks she can beat me with that.

I watched as she kept charging the blast, but something was... Off... It shouldn't take so long to charge — Moments later, it was not a normal Ki blast that came out of Carro's hands, but a continuous stream of Ki, like the Kamehameha, but much less polished.

Carro: "Stellar Burst!"

It even had a name! It was simple, sure, but at least it wasn't some "protagonist's half assed clutch". I looked at the incoming Stellar Burst and began charging Ki with my index finger, my speed when manipulating Ki was much faster than Carro's, so it didn't take long for me to throw a small concentrated Ki beam.

The small beam and her stream were about to collide, everybody thought they knew who was about to win, because her burst was much bigger, but then my beam went through Carro's burst from side to side, making the Ki in it disperse — My beam went straight to Carro as if her attack never was there, she tried to block it, but it easily got through her defenses, making a hole in her stomach and lowering her HP to dangerous levels. The wound, however, was not fatal; I made sure that it didn't hit anywhere important, If I were to kill her, I'd get in serious trouble.

I slowly walked up to her, the sound of my steps got to all the room, just as I got to the defeated Carro — My leg glowed for a second before I stomped her head to the ground, I then gave her a look of disdain and a mocking smile due to her inability to lift her head off the ground. I crouched and raised her head by the hair — My smile widened upon seeing her bruised face.

Baël: "Heh, heh, heheheh! HAHAHAHA! Where's the mighty saiyan that's gonna beat me?! HAHAHA! Listen here Carro! I'm gonna offer you something, I feel kind today! I'll leave you alone if you accept to be my subordinate! HAHAHAHA!"

Then she looked at me in the eyes and spit her blood at my face.

Baël: "Heh! The audacity... Looks like I'm gonna have to MAKE you my subordinate!"

I licked off the blood she spit to my face, not because I liked it, but because I thought it'd look menacing — So anyways, I started blasting concentrated Ki blasts to the non-vital parts of Carro's body, always making sure to not let her HP go lower than it should and that the wounds were treatable with a healing saiyan capsule.

After a few minutes Carro accepted to be my subordinate out of fear of her torture continuing — And that's one thing off of my bucket list, I said I'd make a high class saiyan my subordinate, and I did so with the strongest one of my generation.

When somebody thinks of your generation, your name will immediately pop up in their mind as the prime example of a powerful warrior, everyone that knows about your generation will think of you and your name will quickly spread among the saiyan race]

Heh, not bad.

I stopped torturing Carro and took her to the infirmary, when I got there, I threw her on ground — The nurses and doctors were shocked by Carro's state and quickly got her in a healing capsule just like the ones Vegeta and Goku used in Namek.

After all of this, I went back into my room to keep studying and training my body and skills to end the day.

The next day, I got out of bed and left the tablet on it, I got out of my room and headed to the infirmary.

On the way to the infirmary, everyone who looked at me did so with a surprised look and began to whisper, guess that legendary fame point works quick.

When I got there I looked at the capsule Carro was in, it seemed she needed some time left to fully recover, so I closed my eyes and crossed my arms — I gave off a mysterious vibe, but I was just training my Ki control and detection.

A few hours went by without me doing a single slight movement, then with my Ki detection I felt that Carro moved a little, that meant that she woke up, so I opened my eyes and a big smile drew itself on my face.

When Carro opened her eyes, she spent a few seconds figuring out where she was, and upon looking outside the capsule's crystal and into my smiling face, hers went from confusion to sheer panic.

The machinery around the capsule that showed her heartbeats and a long etc. began to accelerate rapidly, the medics got weirded out by the sudden change and began to touch the keys in their computers — I got closer to the capsule and pressed some buttons, making it open itself. I gazed upon the terrified Carro and took her mask off along with some wires that were strapped onto her, I used [Physical Buff] to grab her like she was weightless and take her out of the infirmary.

The medics looked astonished as I went to my room with Carro.

Upon entering, I left Carro in the ground and offered a chair for her to sit in meanwhile I did so in my bed, Carro stared at me from the ground with both fear and confusion.

Baël: "What? Won't you sit in the chair I gave you?"

Carro got up and trembled her way to the chair.

Baël: "Good, now then — As I told you before, you're my subordinate now, remember?"

Carro nodded with difficulty due to her nerves and fear.

Baël: "As my subordinate, I will train you to become stronger — You're under my command, so I can't let you be as weak as you are right now."

Carro looked lost for a second and the immediately screamed at me furiously.

Carro: "Who do you think you're talking to?! I'm the strongest of my generation!"

After screaming she quickly covered her mouth and got way more scared than she already was, probably expecting me to do something to her.

Baël: "Hahahaha! Sorry to break it to you, but that was only before I came here! So, Carro, I'm not gonna do anything bad to you as long as you keep loyal and useful to me, and do exactly as I say. I'll give you power, fame and grant any of your wishes! And if you keep being loyal, you will have as much freedom to do anything you want as you could possibly wish for! Doesn't it sound like a great deal?! Or do you want to stay a prodigy-wannabe forever?! Are you not starving for strength?! MORE STRENGTH THAN ANYBODY ELSE HAS?! WELL THIS IS YOUR GOLDEN CHANCE! If you comply I will do everything I said and more!"

Carro thought about it for some solid seconds, it seems my speech made her stance change — she's also my subordinate now, so there's no way she's rejecting the offer, so after a little while, Carro spoke.

Carro: "A-Alright! I accept! I w-wanna be stronger!

Baël: "Hahahaha! That's the spirit! If you didn't want to I'd have killed you by now! But to tell the truth, I wasn't really concerned about that, I knew you'd make a great candidate even if you lack power! Not like that's gonna matter if you're under my training! Your power level will rise without an end!"

Carro was startled by what I said about killing her if she refused, but got calmer after hearing the last part.

I got close and stood behind her.

Carro: "H-Hey, what are you doing?"

I touched Carro's back with my hand and began to control my Ki, concentrating a copious amount of it, about 75%.

Baël: "If you really wish to be stronger, relax — If this goes wrong, you won't be able to improve any further, and for it to work you need to lower your defenses."

Carro got even more afraid and lowered her defenses ASAP, my hand's concentrated Ki entered Carro's back and disappeared shortly after.

Carro: "Are you d-done?"

[Ding! The host created the skill "Ki Bomb (Remote)" thanks to his hard work]

[Ki Bomb (Remote): This skill makes a bomb out of concentrated Ki which can be detonated remotely whenever the host wants it to — Depending on the used Ki and the skill's level, the Ki bomb will do according damage]

Heh, this was a skill I thought of a long time ago, it may seem like something you can only use in battle, but if someone lowers their defenses I can place the Ki bomb inside their body — This'll make the bomb do way more damage than it normally would due to it being an internal explosion, I do this with Carro just in case she tries to betray me, if she does, I'll only have to think of detonating the bomb, and she'll blow up immediately. The amount of Ki I used should keep her in check until she have 320 units power level, when she reaches that point, I'll just level up Ki bomb and put more Ki in it, so it does more damage.

Baël: "All set. Now then Carro, your journey for strength begins today, we will train or body and mind in ways you've never thought of and our Ki further beyond just throwing blasts, you will understand what I mean with that soon enough, but for now you must remain here for a few days."

Carro: "A-Alright! I'll do it as long as it makes me stronger!"

Baël: "Heh, heh, I like your attitude! You'll surely be very strong in the future!"

After that, I told her about the human training I do, a few days later down the line I'll tell her about Ki control and then about martial arts.

[Ding! Carro's status has been changed to the special status "Subordinate", now the host will be able to check her stats even if she has a higher power level]

Heh, this'll be useful to her training.
