Revelations

Harry was jolted awake from his memories as he remembered the other thing he found in his mindscape. His body trembled slightly as he remembered the dark aura emanating from that thing. He calmed himself and decided not to think about that for now.

He had just found out what his main core represented. Harry thought back to the day he got his powers and remembered desperately wanting powers like Pheonix/ Jean Grey. He guessed that his magic core responded to his desperate wish and gave him telepathyand telekinesis. Harry was also angry at this Dumbledore person for abandoning him at his aunt's doorstep and never coming back to check on him. How could he think that people like Dursleys will be good caretakers for a child.

Harry had the urge to immediately go to the Diagon Alley and then go to hogwarts to question Dumbledore. But he resisted the burning urge and thought with a cool head. He had work/ planning to do but first he decide not to confront his relatives fir now, as he was aware of the dangers that waited for him in the wizarding world he decided to hone his powers and experiment with his magic till his hogwarts letter came.

He altered the mind of his relatives to think that he always have been living in the smallest bed room and they tend ignore him as much as possible. He didn't alter Dudley's mind as that would seem suspicious at the school. After that he moved all his meager belongings to the second bedroom and started planning for his entry into the magical world. For the first step of his plan he decided to continue his training and try to gather as much information as possible about the wizarding world.

From that day onwards Harry doubled his training regime and incorporated magic practice into his schedule. His psychic training went smoothly but the same could not be said for his magic. At first as he tried to channel magic like he channels his psychic powers, he failed spectacularly as his magic could not even reach out of the core before being dispersed. That's why he thought of creating magical pathways in his whole body to channel magic. He started by trying to create pathways to his hands for control and ease of doing magic. It was a very painful and slow process which left him exhausted just after 20 minutes. So he took it slow and performed one such session each night before sleeping so that the exhaustion and fatigue did not affect his other training during the day.

Finally after he prevailed for the whole month, he successfully created the pathways to his hands. Harry slept peacefully that night with a smile on his face. The next morning the first thing de did was to try to levitate a pencil by magic, but his magic seemed to get scattered after exiting his hand. He was unsuccessful even after trying for a whole hour. So he gave up for now and tackle the problem after he knew more about wizanding world.
