What is this guy?

A blur of red light streaked towards Tommy. It was blazing at him with the speed of a rocket taking off from earth. Looking like a red cloud, with shades of blue at the center about 3 feet in diameter, it felt impossible to dodge. Tommy dove to the left, skidding across the ground for at least 60 feet he easily cleared the area of damage.

"How did I?" He was at a loss for words following that jump.

In the moment of crisis all previous thought of this newly gained strength and power was lost upon him. Instinct had taken over and his body was nowhere used to his new strength. A simple attempt at throwing himself to the ground caused him to be launched a considerable distance.

"HE'S AN ACOLYTE!" The strange voice in the distance screamed after seeing the figure jump away from his attack.

"What in the hell is an acolyte? I'm not a f*cking magician. These people are psycho's. How in the hell am I going to get away now?" Tommy's mind was racing in panic still oblivious to his armor and newfound strength in this time of panic. After-all in this strange world, everything was new so gauging danger was something he simply wasn't capable of doing. He wanted to slink away behind the tree-line in front of him.

Running away wasn't an option. He was surrounded. By the time he had jumped to his feet, in a bid to out-run his would be attackers, there were seven beings all around him. The part that worried him was the fact that they appeared human, apart from all of their skin possessing an almost luminous quality. Their skin tone appeared the same tone as a rich pink sunset reflected through a bronze mirror.

"What clan are you from?" A man with long golden locks of hair and a very long heavy spear, which was aimed straight at Tommy's throat, asked.

"Um. I don't have a clan, I think." Tommy feebly answered, completely confused.

"You expect us to believe that you have no family? I've heard lies in my day, but none as dumb as this. ANSWER MY QUESTION OR I WILL SLIT YOUR THROAT!" The man switched his questioning from calm to screaming so fast it startled Tommy. He didn't know what the man had originally meant by clan.

"The Franklin Clan." Tommy boasted proudly. He had never actually liked his name before, Thomas Roosevelt Franklin. It sounded so prim and proper. He was picked on for being a knock off president with a name like that as a kid. But now, with a name like this, in a situation like this it sounded like a name that commanded respect. A name you should be proud of.

"DO NOT LIE TO ME! THERE IS NO SUCH CLAN IN THIS AREA!" As these venomous words spit out of the mans mouth, his eyes started glowing red. His eyes started glowing and an immense heat could be felt coming off of him.

"I'M NOT FROM AROUND HERE!" Panic had his voice tremble as the words escaped his mouth before he realized it happened. He didn't want to appear weak in front of these people, but as he pissed the man off more, the temperature was rising fast. Tommy had never experienced anything like it, so it rightfully scared him into blurting these words out.

The man paused, seemingly losing his anger and becoming interested. A man who had thrown himself clear of his Flaming Drill attack had to at least be on Titan level. Yet, he was trembling in fear. Getting to Titan status was no joke, as it took the ability to take a Titan class creature down and consume the part of the body that causes the gene mutation. Just finding the mutated gene in the body could sometimes take a couple weeks of consuming. In order to survive that long you should be the kind of person who has no fear.

"Look, I just got here. I don't know where this is or what the hell you are even. I'm f*cking freaked out and I just want to go home." Tommy finally pleaded with him. He couldn't stand to be stared at by those inquisitive red eyes. It finally hit Tommy at this point. The iris's of this mans eyes were blazing red, almost appearing alive. Humans don't have eyes like this.

"What is this guy?" Tommy thought to himself.

The man dropped his spear from Tommy's throat. "I believe you. You don't look to be from around here." The man finally breathed these words in an airy tone.
