Chapter 9: The Promise to Cultivate Early in the Morning (Edited)

"Where does this energy come from? To be honest, I'm not sure either. Since the year I turned nine and my powers awakened, I could feel my strength continuously growing, and I couldn't stop it from increasing..." Clark's eyes flashed with a hint of confusion as he spoke softly.

"Wow, a power that keeps strengthening without any apparent limit. I wonder how many people dream of having such power!" Robert looked at Clark with some envy but quickly shook his head, knowing that with his current potential, he would inevitably grow stronger. Why envy others when he has his own talents?

"Alright, let's study it a bit. Tomorrow morning, we'll cultivate together. Of course, our cultivation difficulty won't be on the same level. You'll need to monitor yourself and increase the difficulty based on my foundation. Don't be lazy!"

"Of course, even if you can't cultivate Qi or increase your inner energy through training, don't be discouraged. You can still train to master your abilities better and use your internal energy more effectively to avoid losing control like before..."

"When did it become your turn to lecture me?" Clark suddenly realized something and glared at Robert with annoyance.

"Also, your method of shooting lasers from your eyes is really quite limited. If you could use your energy in other ways, you might be considered to have graduated!"

"Use my energy in other ways?" Clark's eyes flashed with hesitation, thinking of Robert's method of concentrating Qi in his hands to release it, and then his eyes glowed red again.

"Wait!" Seeing this, Robert quickly stopped Clark, not wanting him to shoot his heat vision everywhere.

"Let's take it slow. I think you should first master your physical strength. After all, you've been living cautiously for so many years and have quite some experience. Let's talk about the laser eyes later!"

"Okay! Then let's head back..." Clark nodded, not in any particular hurry. After all, he had grown accustomed to his powers over the years and hadn't thought about practicing them until Robert's influence made him reconsider.

"After we get back, you should patch up your pants first. It's one thing on our farm and at night when it's not visible, but what if someone sees your tail wagging in public? Aren't you afraid of scaring someone?"

"No worries, I can wrap it around my waist!" Robert skillfully wrapped his tail around his waist like a uniquely designed belt, hidden by his clothes so no one would stare at his waist.

"You should still patch up your pants!" Seeing Robert's sneaky behavior, Clark, unable to find a flaw in Robert's tail-hiding technique, resorted to asserting his authority as the older brother.

"Alright, a proud Saiyan having to sew and patch up, how pitiful. When can I get a set of battle armor to wear..." Robert muttered helplessly, "If not Saiyan armor, some martial arts uniforms would do!"

Clark heard Robert's mutterings but didn't say anything. Soon, they returned home.

"You're back? Where did you go to find food? Why did you bring seasonings?" Clearly, the Kent couple hadn't gone to sleep yet. With their two sons out, how could they rest easy? Especially since Robert had only recently recovered from his amnesiac state.

"Oh, we hunted some game and roasted it..." Robert said instinctively, noticing a change in Jonathan and Martha's expressions.

Kent couple: (;°ロ°)(°ロ°;) "Hunting? Did you get hurt? How can you eat game directly? It might have germs..." Martha was the first to snap back to reality, looking at her sons with concern.

"Hehe, don't worry, Mom, we're not ordinary people!" Robert quickly explained, "Plus, I have a special method of preparing food, so it's safe!"

"Yeah, Mom, I checked it thoroughly. There are no germs or anything, and the food Robert cooked with his abilities is really delicious. You'll know once Robert shows you in the future!" Clark also chimed in.

"In the future, if possible, Robert could actually open a barbecue restaurant. With his skills, the business would surely do well!"

"Really?" Martha asked her sons skeptically.

Although her sons had never lied to her, Martha felt it was better to clarify this issue.

"Martha!" However, at this moment, Jonathan shook his head and gave Martha a look, signaling her not to pursue the matter further.

Initially, Jonathan and Martha were worried about the risks of eating wild game compared to meat that had passed inspection.

But Jonathan quickly remembered, their two sons were not from Earth. They had never been sick since childhood, possibly facing psychological issues but certainly surpassing humans physically.

Foods risky for humans were nothing for these two powerful alien children.

"Dad, I heard there's an eating contest in the next state. Can you take me to participate?" Seeing Martha drop the subject, Robert eagerly asked Jonathan.

Jonathan was surprised at first, then glanced at Clark, who appeared calm, and smiled reassuringly at Robert, "Okay, the contest is the day after tomorrow, on Sunday noon. We'll leave tomorrow afternoon and should arrive by evening. It's all on you then, Robert!"

"Leave it to me!" Robert confidently assured, then turned to Clark, "Bro, I'm going to sleep now. I'll call you in the morning!"

"Don't forget to patch your pants!" Clark said with a slight smile, shouting after Robert.
