Training and Confrontation

While helping Izuku train, Chao Fan noticed that his personality was his biggest limiter. The only time Izuku manages to make full use of his superhuman strength and agility was when he became severely agitated or when he was trying to save someone. It was something Izuku always attempted whenever he saw someone in trouble.

During the time Chao Fan spent with Izuku, Izuku repeatedly showcased his heroic spirit as he helped anyone who was in trouble, even if it meant bringing himself harm. This made him temporarily cast his timid personality away, allowing him to make use of his full strength and agility.

He had also started developing highly sensitive senses of smell, hearing and sight. Especially his sense of sight which gave him a type of x-ray vision recently, allowing him to see through anything except lead.

With the growth of his powers, Izuku had also received a boost to his intelligence, and coupled with his already powerful analytical capabilities, was now able to discern exploitable weaknesses in the middle of battle. While most people normally graduate elementary school at 12 years old in Japan, Izuku could have chosen to graduate at the age of nine. Being given this opportunity is something very impressive in the age of quirks, as there are quirks that boost people's intelligence to massive levels similar to UA's Principal Nezu's quirk. Izuku decided to stay in elementary school however because UA did not accept early graduates, and that was the high school he was aiming to go to.

While overseeing Izuku's training, Chao Fan found that Izuku learned incredibly quickly and could be labeled a prodigy, he finely honed each of the stances and moves of "The Flowing Dragon Style" instead of only focusing on one or two to earn his black belt quickly, he eventually managed to earn his 2nd degree black belt by the age of 9 through sheer determination and investment into "The Flowing Dragon Style" something that greatly pleased Chao Fan, who has never seen a student more determined to get stronger.

Izuku's personality has also been slowly changing the more he is trained by Chao Fan, slowly decreasing how timid he is, this along with his quirk and intelligence have slowly caused him to become more popular in school, as people realized how much of a bully Bakugo was in comparison to Izuku, who protected other students from Bakugo. This has improved his social skills and personality, to the point where he stood up for himself and others in front of Bakugo.

The day after Izuku earned his 2nd degree black belt he went to school as normal, when the teacher asked which schools all of the students were going to try to enter, only two had the confidence to answer "UA" both Bakugo and Izuku, who answered at the same time; Something that bothered Bakugo as from this early age he wanted to be the only one to leave his public school and enter UA. While leaving school Izuku found Bakugo waiting for him.

"Hey Deku, get over here, you want to get into UA, then lets train!" before attempting to blast Izuku with his explosion quirk, "What are you doing Kacchan!" Stated Izuku before dodging the explosion by dodging under it, grabbing Bakugo's hand, moving behind Bakugo and aiming it at Bakugo's back before grabbing Bakugo's other hand while he was in shock that 'Deku' his useless childhood friend was able to do that so fast, and doing the same to it.

"Why would you attack me like that Kachhan?" asks Izuku "Because you're trying to get into UA, i'm the only one supposed to graduate from this Sh***y school!" "Why would it bother you to have competition, its the greatest way to improve, we could be rivals and friends like we were when we were kids, instead of training alone and our progress becoming stagnant." "Why would I do that with you, you Sh***y Deku" "I just defeated you with ease, so if i'm a 'Deku' what does that make you."

Bakugo stays silent deep in thought, forgetting he was still held down by Izuku, before using his explosions to suddenly blow both himself and Izuku, moving them away from each other and sending Bakugo into the air, where he used his explosions once more to stabilize himself and land on the ground. "You just surprised me that time Deku, I wont let it happened again" this time Bakugo starts using his explosions to deal damage to Izuku, while staying away from melee range, Izuku, trying to avoid any damage to himself keeps avoiding the explosions.

"What has gotten into you, Kachhan! even after our first fights you never went this far!" "Don't call me Kacchan!" "You hid how good you were from me Deku, you coward!" says Bakugo, before attacking Izuku with a large explosions using up his sweat and hurting his own right arm in the process. "Everyone else here is a fake, at least before this I thought you were the one person who wasn't lying to me, trying to be my friend because of my quirk. I'll show all of them how wrong they are, i'll become the number one hero without any of them, not even you Deku!"

"I never lied to you Bakugo, just because I never showed off didn't mean I was a coward, i'm trying to be a hero and i'm not going to hurt anyone innocent, we're supposed to be training to save civilians and stop villains not hurting other students." Izuku rushes Bakugo, who uses his left arm to create an explosion after getting closer to Izuku, which Izuku takes so he is able to disarm Bakugo and stop him from fighting once more.

"Bakugo, I always assumed you were a prideful bully, that your ego grew too large for your head, that you became too caught up with the idea of becoming the best, and that you forgot the reasons we wanted to become heroes when we were younger, I couldn't even associate the friend I had when I was a child, the one who wanted to be a hero so no one ever got hurt, the one who wanted to open a hero agency together with me, with you, a simple bully who let the fact he got a good quirk from the gene-pool get to his head." Says Izuku to the incapacitated, shocked Bakugo

"I was wrong, you're obviously just confused because of everyone's praise, if you ever want to be friends again just approach me tomorrow and we can go back to the way things were when we were kids, we can even start training together." says Izuku before letting go of Bakugo, grabbing his schoolbag and walking away. It was only then that Izuku realized he consciously made full use of his superhuman strength and agility, something he finally achieved during the fight with Bakugo.
