✍️Naming ceremony✍️
Ohhhh finally the day had come for which I was waiting very eagerly.
My naming ceremony afterall I wanted a name bcz everyone who comes to me, he or she gets confused that what to call me by name or just 2-3 crammed names like "babu" , "gudiya" or "bachhi".
As all we know that govt jobs give salary to a man like he can't survive throughout the month , the same case was with my pappa...
In year of 2000 govt jobs salary was not so handsome bcz 6th pay commission didn't declare till the time.
But my pappa had organised a lavish programme for me. Although it was out of his reach but anyhow he made it...
Mumma- why are you spending so much money just for a girl's naming ceremony after all we have to save some money for her marriage or not.
Pappa- ohh plz Yaar keep quite I am earning still and you would keep getting your bread on time.
Mumma- I know but money doesn't grow on trees .
Pappa- I know but this is an awaiting moment for us.
Mumma- I hadn't said it to you ever.
Pappa- so isn't it for you?
Mumma- yeah it's for me also but do you know it's very necessary to keep your girl child bounded in instructions.
Pappa- ohh come on Yaar she is just a 10 days old child , so please don't bound her with your so called instructions.
Mumma- you please don't pamper her in a way that she become a tomboy for us, I gave birth to a girl child so please let her be a girl....
Pappa- it's all in vain to take part with you in a debate..... But she is my daughter and I don't care to waste a little part of my savings for her.
Mumma- okk I just withdraw my name from this round table hot talk.
But you please take care of guests , who have come here for blessing.
Pappa- I know my role....you please enjoy the moments....
"Ohh sushanta have you seen pandit ji" , pappa asked one of his friends.
"Yes he is on the roof top , cramming shlokas ", friend said.
"Okk tell him that Dias is ready and other requirements also have been fullfilled , you just start rituals" , pappa said.
"Ohh yes I am going to him" shushanta , pappa's friend said.
I am still enjoying myself on the bed. In guest room, but what is this ?
Dadaji just spoiled the moment as he turned on the "aakashwani " an on air radio show in full volume.
It's 16th may 2000 but still kargil war is being discussed in that show.
Ohh Yaar I didn't know at that time what is this kargil war and when it took place?
But dadaji was discussing with one of our relatives that his friend got martyred in that war last year in month of July.
So I just discussing it here with you guys.
Finally the moment came when panditji was all set to announcing my name's first alphabet in odiya..... As he had completed with all the rituals..
So after getting a total cash gift for 1100 rupees panditji announced the first alphabet .....
That is "s" in English , hahahaha it was just " sweets in both hands" moment for me because as all you know I liked the name "suchi" .
But I surprised again when pappa didn't open his mouth once for my name and mumma decided it meanwhile for me.....
So finally it was "Smita" that means "a smile".
I liked this name also very much but as I attached with pappa very much so I just wanted to get the name "suchi".
Now I am just trying to decide myself that which name is best for me? But after a whole thinking session I just decided that I will conjoin both the names as I will grow up. Because both mumma and pappa are equally important for me although mumma keeps giving me instructions all the time but as I filled with so called sentiments now so we can ignore that part of mumma but pappa is all time favourite for me.....
Uuffff now let me take a pause here... Just wave you guys off with a promise to meet in a short while with a new moment ....
