Learning how to forge

"Senior brother Su is there anywhere that has dense fire Spiritual energy? " Flare asked as Su Wei as he looked bored from continuously explaining.

"Yes there are a few, apart from the one on the Elemental peak the rest are restricted zones in the Palace , you have to use contribution points to enter..... Oh right you placed first in the entrance exam, so you should get quite a bit of contribution points for that, you can use it to enter the Fire Tower " Su Wei said as his flying disc started to descend at a considerably pace.

"Remember no flying is allowed on the main peak you don't want to know the punishment " Su Wei said with a bit of resentment, clearly he must have suffered a bit in the past.

Flare looked curiously as he saw large numbers of disciples going back and forth the across mountain peak. The main peak looked really tall and majestic as it overlooked the other mountain peaks.It's peak pierced the clouds surrounded by thick fog, only the high ranking elders and members knows the truth of it's majesty.

Su Wei landed about halfway up the mountain where numerous large buildings and Pavilions made up a square full of activity.

After registering at the main peak as a new outer disciple, Su Wei brought him to a large building where he would get weaponsmithing lessons on the Weapon Peak.walking into the building 5 youths were already there waiting, 4 boys and a girl around Flare's age .Flare shook his head inwardly, he already knew that blacksmithing was a profession dominated by males, so it wasn't really surprising to him, it was quite clear to him these were the other new outer disciple who joined without going through the entrance exam.

As Flare approached they looked at him with weird eyes, a few of them were even quite upset.They arrived at the Battle God Palace for almost one month but weren't thought any weaponsmithing because they were waiting until all the recruiting was over, the elders wanted everyone to be on an equal playing field.

After sometime passed a middle aged man with short brown hair walked in clearing some of the awkwardness in the air.

"I'm deacon Wu your blacksmithing instructor atleast for a while, since you just became an outer disciple, before you can be accepted by any personal master , I will be guiding you on the path of a weapon refiner (Blacksmith)"

"Before that,does any of you know who a blacksmith is " Deacon wu asked

" A blacksmith is someone who uses special techniques to mold metal in weapons or other artifacts to fight " the Fat youth with Short spikey hair answered

" Don't mix up Forging and Blacksmithing"Deacon wu said shaking his head

"forgers only mold metals into desired shapes depending on their purpose, you can find these forgers in almost any small city or town, a lot of people mixed them up with real blacksmith"

"can molding metals into some shapes really make you a blacksmith? If yes why are they so little of us? "

" The first thing you need to know before you burn your first steel or hammer your first piece of metal is that, we blacksmiths give life to our creations"

"Let me show you what being a real blacksmith looks like" Deacon Wu said haughtily

Walking over to the lava pool in the room , he threw a small purple stone in the large furnace floating in it's center,the calm furnace suddenly became very lively releasing popping sounds, every now and then he would place his hands near the furnace which mysteriously caused the popping sounds disappear. After repeating this a few times, he removed the purple stone that now looked deformed, he then used a large hammer to continuously pound it, with every motion of his hand the hammer broke through the air and heavily impacted the piece of purple metal, this caused sparks fly and defeaning noises to be released in the surrounding. As time passed and the purple stone cooled and pounded by Deacon Wu, it slowly took the shape of a small purple knife. This all happened in a few minutes leaving Flare and the others really shocked.

"As I said before we give life to our creations, observe as I give life to this small knife"

After saying that, he performed a strange technique and dropped one drop of his blood on the knife that caused it glow in colorful light,the spiritual energy in the surroundings suddenly became chaotic which the the purple knife crazily absorbed, as time passed, it stopped glowing and started to levitate on it's own.

Flare and the others suddenly felt immense pressure coming from the knife as it went through it's transformation,they realized they just witnessed the birth of a weapon that was atleast at grade 5 enchanted weapon that's worth hundreds of millions of gold coins maybe even more.

"you really can't go broke as a Blacksmith" Flare said with sparkling eyes ,not even realizing he was talking out loud.

Hearing Flare, Deacon Wu almost dropped the ground, however he could say nothing like Flare he also wanted to become rich in the beginning.Quickly shifting his attention he began another session of talking.

"After the spacial dimensions appeared humans realized that nuclear weapons, guns and explosives could only do so much.After we awakened, we stopped depending so much on those weapons as they could do so little to the monsters.However that didn't mean humans completely gave up, after countless trials and errors, we realized that using mutated metals and metals founded in the spacial dimensions to mold into weapons to fight against monsters was really effective, after this discovery we turned a losing war into a war where we weren't losing or winning.It was only after humans took another step forward on the path of weapon making and invented enchanted weapons, could we finally gain the upper hand against the monsters and take back our home planet, the Blue Star. Only enchanted weapons allowed us to utilize our talent in cultivating spiritual energy. "

"As of right now you are not even comparable to forgers, you can only be called apprentices"

"To become a blacksmith there a two simple conditions,a strong mind power plus a talent that doesn't reject flames or a Flame talent plus a moderately strong mind power"

Mind power is a type of energy humans could use even before the spacial dimension descent.Before ,humans didn't know they had it,even then it was very easy to spot , you only needed to look for someone with abnormal photogenic memory or someone who is abnormally smart.It was only after humans awakened after the dimension descent did they find about this other type of energy that always existed in them.

"Although it seems simple, these two conditions eliminate 98% of people who want to become a blacksmiths.Since you are here that means you satisfied atleast one of these condition"Deacon Wu said

"On your path to becoming blacksmith, your first task is to melt a metal until it's moldable without damaging it " Deacon Wu said as he took 6 pieces of a silver looking stone.

"Before any of that you need to practice this method on how to manipulate your mind energy"after saying that he spoke the method .

"This method can't be passed on to anyone else without the permission of the elders ,you should know the constituencies." As Deacon Wu finished speaking the surroundings got really chilly,It didn't take a rocket scientist to know what their fate will be.

Flare and the others only took a few minutes before they could manipulate their mind energy using the method from Deacon Wu.Flare realized that if he focused his mind power on any of his five senses,it would be improved considerably.

"When you place the silvermoon stone into the furnace, channel your mind power into the furnace to manipulate the heat,this furnace is specially made for you apprentices,it will tell you how much heat is needed and when your Silvermoon stone reached the standard to move on to the next refining step "Deacon Wu said without much explanation.

Hours passed ,the first person who reached the standard was actually the only female in the group ,her is Su Wan,after sometime passed Flare and the others finished.

"Not bad ,not bad"Deacon Wu said repeatedly as he nodded

"The next won't be so easy, everything will depend on you with no help"

"It's time to learn how to hammer your metal!!"
