Chapter three

Kelvin: why does he disapprove our relationship I don't mean you any harm .

Loretta: I know babe , I love you and you know that , but my father he's the mayor I'm afraid he'll do something bad .

Kelvin : like what .. Loretta I need time I'll call you when I have the chance , I need to think .

Loretta: please babe it's not my fault

please try to understand .

Kelvin: I understand I need to think please leave now I'll call you I promise

Loretta: okay bye

Loretta went home sad , she refused to talk to her parent even called her attention , she went to her room crying hoping for Kelvin to call her .

That day the mayor Mr Smith , located Kelvin and went to see him by himself . He gave him a surprised visit at his house all of a sudden .

Mr Smith: I came to give a brief warning about my daughter Loretta the girl I heard you are dating stay away from her or else you will regret knowing me

Kelvin: but sir I don't mean any harm to her I love her so much I tell you sir , please sir don't do this to us , we love each other so much .

Mr Smith : I hate talking to much , stay away it's a warning I'm giving you I won't repeat it . The mayor said and left Kelvin house .

Kelvin was shocked to hear all the mayor had said to him he decided to call Loretta and make her know .

Kelvin 📞: hello retta , it's me Kelvin

Loretta 📞: hi babe , whatsup so what do you think .

Kelvin 📞: hmmm I don't know what to say I've changed my mind , I think we should end the relationship now

Loretta 📞: babe what do you mean , no babe I love you we can't end things like no 😭😭😭😭

Kelvin cut the call , Loretta spent the whole night crying she refused to talk to mother or anyone .

The next day Loretta went to visit Kelvin at his house , he was at home doing his laundry when he saw her entered his house

Loretta : babe please tell me you were joking , about the break up

Kelvin: babe I'm not joking I'm serious it's for your own sake I want to see you happy

Loretta: what..... Who told you this tell me , did anyone change your mind

Kelvin: no babe no one I decided to take that decision babe I love you that's the reason , babe I have to do my laundry please leave before anything happens .

Loretta was short of words , she can't help it but to cry back home , Kelvin had to do such because he thinks that would keep Loretta safe and happy too . But things changed find out in the next chapter .
