Chapter Two

Loretta and Kelvin became friends, close friends everyone at school were surprised about the closeness of Kelvin and Loretta , they both did things together and shared things together .

Anabel didn't like the way Loretta had left her to Kelvin it pains her so much seeing the both of them together having fun happily without her .so she decided to visit Loretta on Saturday at her house.

Loretta welcomed her to her room and served her delicious snacks .

Loretta: so Anabel why the sudden visit ?

Anabel: I can't believe you're asking me that Loretta you of all people , the girl I call my best friend has left me to a guy I can even compare to a pig .

Loretta: Anabel enough , why are you saying this you know how much I value and love you so much and yet you think I left you and went for Kelvin

Anabel : of course retta , by next month we'll be graduating from college and who knows what you will end up doing with Kelvin .

Loretta: nothing Anabel , I just love and care for Kelvin really I don't care

Anabel : whatever Loretta do anything you want to do with Kelvin I don't care , I'm leaving .

Loretta :Anabel , Anabel listen

Anabel left Loretta's house without listening to her she was mad at her.

At school Anabel avoided Loretta , she was sad but Kelvin made her Happy.

Few months later Loretta and her class mate graduated from college , Kelvin fell deeply in love with Loretta and wants to date her so he called her to a restaurant .

It was a fancy restaurant , Loretta dressed beautifully and went to meet him in the table for two .

Kelvin : good evening beautiful , you look so good this evening

Loretta : Thank you

Kelvin : em.... Why I invited you over is because , Loretta I really love you with all my heart , and I want you to be by my side

Loretta :what do you mean

Kelvin: I hate hiding things , especially from the one I love , I want you to be my date Loretta .(brings out a ring )

Loretta: (smiles) yes I will gladly be your date Kelvin (Kelvin puts the ring on her finger)

Kelvin: (hugs her) Thank you babe .

Loretta went home happy , when her parents noticed it they called before going upstairs.

Mrs Smith: Loretta daughter , what's the happiness all about .

Loretta: it's nothing mom

Mr Smith : hmmm I don't believe you

Loretta: then forget it ( ran upstairs to her room)

Mr Smith :she can't be happy for no reason I'll send my boys to spy on her (leaves the sitting room )

Mrs Smith : spy on her hmmm

It was Loretta's first Relationship with Kelvin it was fun anyway for her , but it wasn't going to be as she had expected it her father had disapprove the relationship after his boys had spy on Loretta and saw she had a boyfriend . Loretta often visit Kelvin at his house he wasn't rich nor poor

Kelvin :what a pleasant surprise

Loretta : yeah , Kelvin I need to talk to you it's urgent

Kelvin :what's that and about what

Loretta: it's my father , he's the mayor you Know that and he's suspecting me to be dating someone he doesn't know .

Kelvin : so are you trying to say he doesn't approve our relationship

Loretta: yes he doesn't ..
