When I first awoke and found myself in this new and strange world, I thought I would go crazy.

Luckily, the Fehl, a race of amphibian sapient creatures that inhabitant this world and the race as which I seemingly reincarnated as, are humanoid enough for me to adapt to them over the years I spent here.

They look like humans with gills along the neck and fin like appendages instead of ears. The gills allow them to survive underwater for as long as they please and the fin like ears are sensitive enough to allow communication underwater.

The skin coloration of the Fehl varies greatly and isn't hereditary making each member easy to identify thanks to their individual color patterns.

Another thing that differs them form humans are the webs between their toes and fingers which increase their movement and maneuverability in and underwater immensely.

But of all the things that make the Fehl different form humanity, their hair and blood is the most outstanding.

Well, hair in the sense of it looks like hair but are in fact hundreds of thousands of tentacles capable of sensing psychic energy.

Together with the special cells in the Fehl's blood, which I simply named Psy-cells, they are capable of supernatural feats ranging from empathy to telepathy all the way to telekinesis and all kinds of other stuff.

To my great happiness I too had this talent, not all Fehl have a high enough concentration of Psy-cells in their blood and because of the fact that they are too not hereditary it is not possible to specifically breed psychic talented members of the race.

But what the at best medieval level civilization didn't know or is capable of is that one can transplant Psy-cells from one to another or increase one's own production of the cells.

The reason I know all that sh*t is because I hit jackpot upon manifesting my own psychic ability, the first manifestation or activation of one's psychic ability shows you to with which application of psychic power you have the highest affinity to, and in my case it was biokinesis.

With the power to understand and manipulate my body's cells and genetic structure I of course focused my research on the source of my power.
