Chapter 107

MJ silently walked to Spider-Tom's side, hugging him from the side.

Ned also approached from the other side, wrapping his arms around him.

The three embraced, barely calming down Spider-Tom's anxious heart.

"Stephen, where's May?"

Although empathizing with Ghost's experiences, Spider-Tom was more concerned about May's safety.

Ghost, despite his pitiful past, was undeniably a complete villain, a madman.

From Doctor Strange's interpretation of his memories, he wanted to groom Spider-Tom as his successor.

Aunt May, however, held undeniable importance to Peter.

In Ghost's world, even before May's death, despite facing public criticism, Peter still persevered.

It wasn't until her murder that the darkness within Peter was fully unleashed, turning him into the malevolent Ghost.

This world seemed no different.

No one knew if Ghost would replicate his experiences and ruthlessly kill May to "fulfill" Spider-Tom.

Doctor Strange furrowed his brows and continued swiftly searching Ghost's memories.

In reality, if hypnosis could be assisted by verbal cues, allowing the brain to automatically recall relevant memories, it would be the fastest method to find what one was looking for.

However, Ghost was a former Spider-Man, indicating considerable mental resilience.

If he woke up, the probability was high that he would not gain memories but would instead break free from the hypnotic state.

So, Doctor Strange had to resort to the tedious method of searching bit by bit.

Persistence pays off.

After searching for more than ten minutes, he finally found memories related to May Parker.

As it turned out, Ghost did not kill or harm May Parker in any way.

At this moment, May Parker was locked in a room that Ghost had taken over, sedated by a sleep powder concocted by Ghost himself.

Reflecting on it, it made sense.

May Parker and Gwen Stacy were the two most important people in Ghost's life.

Even though Spider-Tom's May was not his Aunt May, the tiny thread of goodness remaining in Ghost still prevented him from easily harming Aunt May.

With Doctor Strange's help, Spider-Tom quickly located the place and brought May back home.

The sleep powder would keep her unconscious for a day and a night, so she wouldn't wake up immediately.

However, as long as she was out of immediate danger, Spider-Tom was already satisfied.

He quickly returned here.

Seemingly having completed everything, the three known interdimensional visitors on the run didn't seem to pose significant threats.

Venom had no strong desire to attack, seemingly running away just to avoid being confined, disregarding the situation.

Ned, having seen news of Sandman saving people on the internet and considering what Mark said about Sandman being fundamentally good, also disregarded him.

The only one potentially causing trouble might be Kraven the Hunter

However, this guy was cunning. After his team was wiped out, he probably wouldn't dare to show his face again.

So, Mark and the others simply stopped all actions and took a good rest.

Now, they only needed Doctor Strange to send them back.

"But do we really have to send him back like this?" Ned pointed at Ghost and asked.

Others turned their attention to him.

Ned hesitated, "He's a super villain, in his world, he constantly dominates everyone, like a symbol of fear."

Spider-Tom nodded, "If we didn't know, that would be one thing, but now that we know, I want to help them."

At this point, he hesitated a bit, wondering how others would perceive him for saying such things.

Would they see him as unable to distinguish between right and wrong?

Would they consider him naive?

However, at this moment, Middle-aged Toby Spider walked to his side, placing his large hand on Spider-Tom's shoulder, "You're right. My uncle told me, with great power comes great responsibility. I support you."

Then, he looked at Mark.

Mark yawned, "I don't care, anyway, what happens next has nothing to do with me. But how do you plan to save them? Are you thinking of performing surgery on him, giving him a new brain or something?"

Regarding the "savior behavior" of these two spiders, he was speechless, but not too surprised.

Because this is Spider-Man, this is Peter Parker.

They always forgive villains, trying to give them a chance to reform.

Toby Spider forgave Flint Marko, who (accidentally) killed his uncle. Spider-Tom, in the battle with the Vulture, put aside past grievances and risked his life to save him.

However, he didn't care much about how they wanted to deal with Ghost Andrew Spider, and he didn't want to get involved.

He had four purposes for coming to this world.

First, kill the "big shot," upgrade the battle suit, which he had already done and did remarkably well. The suit he was currently using was even more impressive than the original plan.

Second, get to know some of the superheroes in the main universe. In case he had to face the Inheritors in the future, he might find them as external support.

So far, things were going well. He had met Doctor Strange and three Spider-Men, plus Octopus Doctor and Electro.

At crucial moments, the gathered fighting force has become quite substantial.

Thirdly, get an Ark Reactor for Octopus Doctor, as promised earlier.

That's already in hand.

As for the fourth goal, it's naturally to enhance his own strength.

His power of destiny can gain feedback by altering the destinies of Spider-Men on the web of life, thereby enhancing his own strength.

Now, with his influence on Spider-Tom, traces of destiny power are rapidly forming within him, constantly strengthening his abilities!

At this moment, he's much stronger than when he first arrived in this world!

So, he's really not interested in getting involved in what comes next.

After fighting and traveling for several hours, he just wants to consume these gains and get a good night's sleep.

"Um," Middle-aged Toby Spider hesitated for a moment and said, "I don't know if his symptoms are the same as Osborn's. Actually, I've always regretted not being able to save him back then."

Well, in a sense, the symptoms of Ghost Andrew Spider do resemble dissociative identity disorder.

However, his condition has lasted too long, and the emerged evil personality has long "overpowered" the main personality. Whether he can be saved is really uncertain.

"I can provide some equipment," Spider-Tom is ready to brag about him being Iron Man's "godson."

Doctor Strange stood up with a headache, "Hey, hey, you two, ease up. Just send them back, don't create new troubles for me!"

Saying that, he picked up the Kadavus, ready to use it.

Snap!

A web shot onto the magical box.

Doctor Strange 'You've got to be kidding me...'

Seeing that the two sides were about to fight again, Mark intervened, tearing Spider-Tom's web, taking the box in hand, and stopping both sides who were ready to recreate a classic scene.

"Stop, both of you stop!" Mark shouted.

He didn't want to replay the scene of a turf war, and he certainly didn't want unforeseen accidents to shatter the situation he had finally controlled.

Spider-Tom and Doctor Strange reluctantly stopped.

Mark stood in the middle of the two, a bit troubled, thinking about how to handle this.

In his opinion, just send Ghost Andrew Spider back to his world, and that should be the end of it.

Ghost Andrew Spider becoming like this was the result of the actions of the people from that world. They should bear the consequences themselves.

Moreover, Doctor Strange had seen it from his memories.

Ghost Andrew Spider, despite turning into a menace and forming a legion from "hell", still primarily targets those villains.

It's just that the punishment is a bit too harsh. Even petty thefts are met with immediate execution; isn't that too severe?

However, Spider-Tom and Middle-aged Toby Spider insist on curing him.

Judging by Spider-Tom's expression, it seems like he might cry if they don't.

Thinking about this, Mark glared at Ned while thinking 'This is all this guy's fault.'

Ned shrank his neck, awkwardly chuckling.

He realized he misspoke.

While they were in a deadlock, Ghost suddenly woke up.

He had been thrown into a magical prison by Doctor Strange.

Upon waking up, he walked to the edge of the prison, sneering at Mark and the others.

"This guy is too arrogant; I feel like we should just kill him," Max spoke Mark's inner thoughts.

Mark nodded in agreement.

"Haha, then come and kill me!" Ghost laughed uproariously.

He didn't care about his life at all; instead, he started provocatively taunting.

"Peter, Peter, do you know? Mundane emotions are the shackles that bind our strength! Only when you abandon everything will you discover how beautiful this world is! Only then will you become your true self!"

There were two "Peters" present and no one knew who Ghost was directing this statement to.

But it was probably Spider-Tom.

Because he was initially the target.

And he looked the youngest and most easily deceived.

Until now, Ghost hadn't given up trying to influence Spider-Tom.

However, Spider-Tom had no intention of engaging in conversation.

He looked at Mark with pleading eyes, saying, "You are the only Spider-Man who can travel through time and space. You said you wanted to change the tragic fate of every Spider-Man. Can't you help him?"

Mark's face showed a conflicted expression.

In truth, he didn't want to change this Ghost Andrew Spider.

At this moment, an idea flashed in his mind.

He walked to the magical prison holding Ghost Andrew Spider, standing opposite him with only a transparent magical barrier between them.

"I sense something different about you compared to those other guys. You're a 'variant.' So, are you ready to kill me now?" Ghost Andrew Spider grinned.

Mark shook his head, smiling, "Do you want to see Gwen?"
