.

From the day Bruxian first arrived at K'un-Lun, he was challenged by several Elders to a battle without him wielding Magic Power.

Using his raw strength and combat skills, Bruxian fought on for a while, but he never landed a single attack on the Elders.

Somehow, they guided his attacks to miss repeatedly, as his fists and kicks hit empty air.

Eventually Bruxian realised the movement style of the Elders helped them flow their bodies like water that could move with the fury of attacks.

At that point, Bruxian tried to copy the movements of the Elders, with some success but by then the Elders decided to end the battle and used brute force to knock him out cold.

From that day on, Bruxian began his life anew at K'un-Lun, a heavenly city locked away in a hidden dimension.

He would live a very basic life, even compared to the amenities he was offered at Kamar-Taj, with a thin mat to sleep on and some basic food.

It was done on purpose by the Elders of K'un-Lun who didn't believe in worldly possessions and saw food as a necessity rather than something to enjoy.

For a time, it was a difficult adjustment for Bruxian but his resilience was unlike anything else and capable of surviving the harshest trials thrown at him.

In due time, Bruxian finally learnt about Spiritual Energy, which the Elders called Chi Energy.

According to their knowledge, Chi could be gathered by completing the Trial of Shou-Lao, which was a battle against the Dragon-Serpent, who would check to see if the warrior was capable of taking on the title of Iron-Fist.

Bruxian didn't want the responsibility of protecting K'un-Lun, especially if it took him away from Alfred and the others he cared about.

Thankfully, the System and Wayne's World had their own plans to help K'un-Lun while fulfilling the personal goals of Bruxian.

As the Elders began to teach Bruxian about Spiritual Energy, and how to wield his own power, some time passed until word came around August 2001 that a young child was found in the Himalayan mountains.

Bruxian knew it was Danny Rand that arrived at K'un-Lun but understandably, it was impossible for him to affect the fate of the Iron-Fist.

Besides turning himself into a wise senior who'd come before him, Bruxian could only train with Danny and Davos from time to time, when he didn't work on himself.

But this led to more and more juniors wishing to be taught by Bruxian because of his techniques.

Through the System, the quest and task rewards provided him with various items, one of many that happened to be fighting techniques and styles.

Much like Chi, Bruxian learnt through the System and its rewards that there was a Spiritual Energy Source of the Universe that was untapped by mankind.

It wasn't as potent as Chi but could be practised by all to improve their health and strength.

The Elders were already tapped into the Spiritual Energy Source, but their connection was close to being cut completely dry.

Their techniques were actually flawed, as the true techniques were lost over time or never revealed by earlier practitioners.

Bruxian eventually revealed his techniques and methods to the Elders after they became aware of his classes and the massive improvement of the students.

It eventually led to Bruxian gaining the title of Young Master of K'un-Lun by the time his 18th birthday came around.

The library of K'un-Lun was developed further to hold the knowledge Bruxian brought along, including the development of new training arenas.

Bruxian spent part of his 18th year on developing K'un-Lun into a magnificent city of martial warriors.

Arkham Guild became allied with Order of the Crane Mother, who led and managed K'un-Lun as Wayne's World began to spawn several hundred Martial Warriors per day.

They all added to the security and strength of K'un-Lun, which also brought about the 'Golden Times' across the Hidden Dimension as powerful creatures, beasts, animals, and flora sprouted across the world.

This led to more trouble for the warriors of K'un-Lun, but the newfound strength of K'un-Lun helped them deal with the issues without any problems.

It also enhanced the potency of Shou-Lao's Trial and the power of the Iron-Fist.

Danny Rand found himself working harder than every before, pushing the boundary of his body strength and aptitude to greater heights.

Bruxian continued to help the students while also improving his own strength until a couple days after the new year that an Elder of K'un-Lun asked to speak with the Young Master of the Wayne Family.

.

"Master Lei Kung, you've called for me?"

"Mmm… Yes I have, Bruxian.

There is much we need to discuss.

Follow me…" Lei Kung walked ahead of Bruxian with his hands cusped before his chest.

Neither spoke as they walked through the mountain city of K'un-Lun, passing by hundreds of students, teachers, and masters, with each of them bowing to Lei Kung and Bruxian.

But eventually Lei Kung led Bruxian through some passages until they were standing in front of a cave opening that appeared heavily sealed with dozens of masters guarding the entrance.

Curious about the cave, Bruxian asked the System if it knew anything about the location and its significance to K'un-Lun, but the System chose to remain quiet.

Soon enough though, Lei Kung spoke up, with the other Masters present looking towards his direction.

"Masters of the Gate to Shin-Xiao!

Today, the warrior I've brought to you is the next Guardian of the Dragon Emperor Shin-Xiao!"

"Wait what?!!"

"Quiet, Boy!"

One of the Masters of the Gate closest to Bruxian, slapped him across the back of the head with his hand infused naturally by Spiritual Energy.

The slap caused Bruxian to launch forward, only to stop when his body crashed into the wall of the underground sealed room.

"Ergh… what the hell… was that?" Bruxian mumbled as he pulled himself up off the ground while stumbling.

"*Sigh* That there Boy, is the body strengthen technique of the Immortal Dragon Emperor.

It's a technique we don't teach the students until they've reached the stage of Master and even then, we only choose those who can survive the mental strain of the body transformation."

Lei Kung said, while his eyes examined the crater in the wall made by Bruxian after he crashed into it from the hit to the back of the head.

The Elder and the Masters around him were all surprised by the damage because up until now they were led to believe the walls couldn't be destroyed.

Everyone turned to check and see how the Master who hit Bruxian was doing, but when they saw his hand, the man seemed fine.

The only thought that came to their mind was Bruxian had a body that was stronger than it appeared.

Frightened slightly by the young boy grumbling over the slap to his head, they came to accept Bruxian was the destined to take on the power of the Dragon Emperor.

"From this day on… you will learn the techniques of the Master until you are ready to take the trial."

Lei Kung didn't spend a minute longer in the hidden room of K'un-Lun, as he needed to inform the Elders about Bruxian.

They were already aware of his immense power and strength but none of them believed it was the peak of his abilities.

Bruxian couldn't even get the chance to refuse before the Masters of the Gate pulled him away to train in the hellish chambers of the hidden temple.

.

For the next year, Bruxian trained under the guidance of the Masters of the Shin-Xiao Gate, who made him utterly miserable and exhausted by the training.

They would first send him to the wolves in the mental training chamber that would test the strength of his mind.

From haunting images of his parent's death or memories of his past in another lifetime, the strikes to his mental barrier were immensely powerful.

Several times, the Masters believed Bruxian would fail and die but he pushed through and further enhanced his mental fortitude while improving other aspects of himself.

Memory, intelligence, and wisdom Stats Attributes increased dramatically over the twelve months, further helping the adaption to the Shin-Xiao Body Strengthening Technique.

Bruxian already had a body that was greatly improved to a state that made him more than a simple human, but after Bruxian adapted the Shin-Xiao Body Strengthening Technique, everything changed.

Bruxian sensed his whole body and frame of mind enhanced to a stage that was beyond the scope of anything he'd ever experienced previously.

From being able to understand his body down to his own cells, Bruxian could strengthen and harden certain regions of his whole body if he chose without affecting the rest.

First, Bruxian enhanced his organs and augments to the peak point he could possibly push them to in his current stage of power.

The same was done for the rest of his body, but Bruxian focused on improving his internal body because of the problems that could arise if any of his organs or augments failed.

.

Another area the Shin-Xiao Body Technique improved Bruxian's abilities was his senses that went past seven known ones that humans possessed.

Besides Hearing, Touch, Vision, Taste, Balance, Movement, and Smell, Bruxian gained control over his Temperature, Body, and Medium.

Temperature allowed him to manage his nervous system and deal with the affect heat and cold had over him.

Through the control of his Body sense, Bruxian could manage his cells, organs, muscles, bones, giving him the strength to perform changes to his whole body if he so chose to.

But the most interesting sense Bruxian gained was Medium that allowed him to see more than the average human could witness.

From the energy in the atmosphere to the natural power exhibited in every form of living nature, Bruxian could also see the supernatural, such as ghosts, vampires, and other creatures.

Hell, he could smell them if he tried hard enough, but his training with the Masters helped Bruxian control his newfound natural abilities that exceeded anything he could have imagined.

Part of Bruxian felt that if he fought against Thor and Hulk, he would be able to put up a fight due to his enhanced body strength.

His unimaginable state of body, mind, and spirit was frightening enough to worry the Ancient One who came to investigate the changes to her student repeatedly after he began training to wield the power of Shin-Xiao.

The surprising revelation left the Ancient One overjoyed but worried for Bruxian's life and wellbeing, as the strain of carrying the power of the Dragon Emperor wasn't a simple life.

She would come to visit K'un-Lun a dozen more times before the Trial of Shin-Xiao began, which put the whole city of K'un-Lun on high alert.

"So… *Sigh* We're fucking doing this… right?

Fuck my life."

"Watch your language, Boy!"

A crisp slap to Bruxian's head could be heard echoing through the opening of the cave leading into the depths of the mountain, where Shin-Xiao rested.

The Masters standing behind Bruxian and Lei Kung were all imagining the strength used behind the slap to the back of the Young Master of K'un-Lun.

"Who knew Lei Kung wasn't a fan of the Young Master…"

"Ohh please, Lei Kung adores the child.

Even if the old fart can't hold back his strength against the Young Master."

"Both of you, shut the fuck up!

Lei Kung will slap the shit out of you fools if you don't quieten up."

Several Masters could be heard by everyone gossiping, but no one dared to stop them as they were too focused on Bruxian, who'd stepped into the cave and kickstarted the first journey of the trial.

"Goodluck, Young Master of Kamar-Taj and K'un-Lun, we shall wait to hear of your success… our hopeful Guardian."

The newly appeared Ancient One said with Mordo, Kaecilius, Wong, and several other Masters of Kamar-Taj arriving with their leader to see if their Young Master would be successful.

Mordo and Wong were quite emotional as they watched the broad back of their Young Master walk deeper into the chaos of the cave's darkness.

But as they were about to turn away and leave, they all heard the terrifying roar of Shin-Xiao, the Dragon Emperor they long hoped was dead but knew it wasn't possible.

The Ancient One raised her hands up out of fear as the Dragon roar sent an ice-bone cold rippled through her soul and spirit.

Petrified, she started to shout out for Bruxian to return back, but as she looked deeply into the cave for someone to appear, the Ancient One and the people around her saw no one return, leaving them all worried about their Young Master and his fate.

All they could do now was wait and see if Bruxian would return victorious or be added to the list of Warriors who'd failed to achieve the title of Guardian.

.

"*Sigh*… You know, I didn't think this would be my fate…

Why can't I just become Batman already?"

[Host still needs to continue their worldly exploration, which includes a visit to the DC Universe]

"Yeah, I know that, but you want me to find Z.O.N.E…

Honestly, I have no fucking clue who that is and that's saying something.

Trust me, nobody knows Marvel like me.

It's not the only one either…

God… I was such a fucking shut in back then…

Still am, hahaha."

[… I advise you have someone check your mental health.

And in regards to Z.O.N.E, the hidden organisation has kept itself hidden neatly away from all eyes of the world as they've gathered resources and people to protect Earth from external interests that are off world, or dimension.

Z.O.N.E cannot take action unless their instructed by the Lords of the organisation.

Their hidden code, only known by the Lords and several dozen executives is that their existence and faith is tied to the Guardian of Earth.

Once Host takes is able to defeat the Dragon Emperor and gain authority over the Guardian Throne, Z.O.N.E will come and seek you out on their own]

Sighing once again, Bruxian grumbled as he continued to move deeper into the darkness which felt as bright as day to him through his enhanced vision.

'Time to find your ass Shin-Xiao and beat it into oblivion!'
