The story is out of this world-quite literally. 3 chapters in, and I already find myself hooked. Knowing the author's other works, I am glad that the author has kept up their quality writing. So, I warmly suggest this story to anyone, who likes SciFI and does not mind the lack of grammatical mistakes.

Wow, that first chapter really grabbed me! The precision of the storytelling, the flow, and the grammar are all executed flawlessly. I must say, I'm completely hooked! It's hard to find first-person point of view novels on this app with such impeccable grammar. I definitely think we need more like this. Definitely added and 5 stars.

Three words: I… Am… ATOMIC! Reading these 3 chapters made me realize once again the gulf between quality of works on WN. Some works are good, but the lack of quality in them is what makes them missing that “spark” that would take them to the next level. Now, this is what I would call quality! I dare you to say otherwise, idc about your opinion but if you don’t become ATOMIC by the end of this out-of-the-Earth novel, then please check at a psychologist if something is wrong with you. Now… once again… I Am… The All-Range… ATOMIC!!

Did you ever feel while reading a story that it clicks? well this one does for me. Author's mastery over pace and extensive research on topics is flabbergasting. The conclusion i reach after reading it all, there are never enough chapters. I hope the ride never ends but at the same time want it to end faster.

Space Punk (Passing Sands) Rating 4 Stars Chapters read 10/10 as of 3/8/23 Plot: Excellent - The story follows the adventures of Tuku Genja as he aims to find his place in the galaxy. That might sound boring but that is only until it is shared that Genja is part of the Kamuy. A warrior like race of technological almost immortal super soldiers. His lineage and the weird side kick he has are what connect Genja to the story. Favorite Chapter: Old Myths 1-3These chapters sent my interest in the book through the stratosphere. The story of how awesome the Kamuy was and what happened to them got me thinking about the stakes of what is to come. Unlike with chapters related to him being poor. Genja shows his ability in intrapersonal politics, archeology, counter-espionage, and even humor. The characterization was leagues better than the struggling spacefarer bits. Favorite Character:The Kamuy hands down, they are Spartans who explode when taken prisoner. They remind me of the Protoss from StarCraft two. Not much is known about them but of the things that I read. They are a complex race that keeps to themselves yet exhibits extreme prejudice in combat. Three things I liked: 1. The Kamuy, I cannot stop gushing about them enough, these dudes are cool. They do not retreat, and fight armies that invade yet do not execute retaliation simply due to the enemy not requiring one. Only the strong has the right to show mercy. 2. The science that is included in this book. As a science nerd, the technologies and theories explored in the first ten chapters are wonderful. Books grounded in realism in a technical sense are so rare that its criminal. This book scratches that itch for a good sci-fi novel that allows ones comprehension of science to appreciate the excerpts and events. From the wormhole use in warp travel that uses the Rosenberg bridge as a participle to the nuances of space travel like the absence of air resistance. The research and decision to stay within the realms of science are amazing. 3. The word building. From the groups associated with the four main powers to even the racial traits, mannerisms and culture the amount of thought that went into crafting this word is beyond marvelous. The characters themselves show how far-reaching the implications of their cultural impacts are due to their behaviors. For example, Genja is a race that intentionally turns itself into mechanized hybrids and has lived an extremely long lifetime. How he moves, and how he acts showcase a mindset radically different from the common man. His friend a retired bigshot from what is technically a lizard/dragonkin, also shines as he illustrates the behaviors of a being ready to die. None of the characters at least the named ones are cookie-cutter cutouts. The stark differences between what should be expected and what these characters portray highlight the “alieness” of the novel allowing for a believable tale about those who are similar to us, but not like us. Actual review Overall Space Punk is a good novel about the struggle or promised rise to power of Tuku Genja a retired general from the elite Kamuy. The science that shapes the novel is grounded in reality which makes the story coherent. The world building of the culture, politics and races are a head above the WN average. However, the pacing issues and the confusion on which to focus makes some of the chapters feel meaningless. Should the focus be refined, and more chapters to drop, I feel this novel would be really good and a gem in sci-fi genre of WN. Well done Author. Stay awesome.

It's a really good read and it looks interesting from the start. I know that first POV isn't common, but this one is executed really well.

This is a work of art, not gonna lie. I'm amazed by the grammar, precision, and flow of this book. The author just expertly navigates through the story so seamlessly that I'm hooked. That first chapter cliffhanger, though... well, I won't spoil it.

As far as I can tell, this book is intriguing.  If you are a sci-fi nerd and like sci-fi stuff, then this book is a treat for you. The author added a good amount of humour and world-building.  Abaraki is my favorite; it doesn't matter that he is not a living being.

Alright, the story is good. I can't really say much to give you anything that needs improvement since being short at the time. anyway, you're doing great. My friend keeps going and paying attention to your writing.

As a sci-fi story featuring an alien protagonist and a hive mind sidekick, this is probably one of the most unique novels on this platform. Passingsands has created an expansive and immersive world without infodumping. Worldbuilding details are properly integrated into the narrative and usually only mentioned when they're relevant. Several of the science and tech words can be intimidating to some readers, but most of the time there are enough contextual clues to deduce what they mean. Besides, it's hard to fault a writer for using science-y words in a sci-fi story.
