Chapter Twelve

The entire day had went through a daze . Katsumi felt like she was on airplane mode as she now walked back in the Evening to the dorms . The rest of class-1A was still practicing so she was yet again alone . She went to her room immediately and began her homework. When Katsumi was done with her work and looked up it was now dark and the stars were out. She went downstairs and decided to have some fun. Class 1-A recently got a karaoke machine to practice more for the festival. And Katsumi had yet to use it so she decided to turn it on and have some fun. She always sung with her family in her world. She used the remote controller to choose a song on the TV. She decided on a song she always sang at home. She was surprised that this world had the same songs .The song was "Faith" by George Michael. The video began with him standing on the screen before the words came on. She began to sing along hitting each note perfectly. She had practiced a lot when she was younger and regularly sung with her family and best friend. "Cuz I gotta have faith , because I got to faith ,faith ,faith . I gotta have faith" the song ended. Katsumi sang from song to song and chose another which was one of her favourite ."I will survive " by Gloria Gaynor.

"At first i was afraid

I was petrified

She began and continue to sing her heart out.

"I will survive !

And as long as i know how to love

I know I'll stay alive !"she sang adding a few dance moves and tapping her feet. She began to move her hips to the music. She forgot entirely where she was and what world she lived in. She felt like she was back in her house singing with her little sister .she felt her self smile as she began to show her true self and dancing and singing with so much passion. When the song ended she was out of breath but she was knocked out of her moment when she heard clapping . She turned her head towards to the noise to see her classmates standing in awe and clapping hands. Her face quickly lit up red. "That was so good ! Where did you learn to do that ?" Asked Mina as she walked over to her ."how long have you been standing there ?!" She asked and ignored the question. "Not long just when you began dancing ,kero " tsu said with her finger on her chin. "That's almost the entire song !" Katsumi said her cheeks turning redder. "Did Bakugo see ?" She asked quietly so that he can't hear. "No ,he's in the kitchen" said tsu.Katsumi calmed down a bit and put her hand on her chest . "Hey ! You didn't answer my question!" Mina said to her ."oh sorry " she said turning red again."uh I don't really know I guess just from dancing with my family " she said shrugging her shoulders. "What really ?!" A few kids said ."it was the same with my family" said jirou with her arms crossed."their both in the music industry" she said. They began to praise katsumi and ask jirou questions .What they didn't know is that Bakugo was watching the whole time leaning on the doorway of the kitchen. He turned around with a small smile on his face and began to make dinner.

A few days later ~

Katsumi stood in the mall with a purse on her arm. Momo made her one so that she can carry money with her for this day specifically. She also got some money from all might since he is her biological father. She was waiting for Momo ,Ururaka and Mina to go buy some clothes but after waiting almost an hour she decided to go alone , they probably couldn't make it and had to practice. If only she had a phone but she left hers and all her stuff in her world. Which let her to think about her family again it saddend her. But she was feeling down lately anyhow. Her classmates were also busy that she felt alone. It was as if they didn't notice how she was feeling. She wondered from time to time if they even truly cared about her. It wasn't as if she had been here long and they all were already close since they've been against Villians together.She still felt like she was a outsider. And on top of that al though she and bakugo were making headway she felt like she knew nothing about him.He was still a blank page to her. She headed in to a shop and browsed through the items of clothing for something of her style.She picked a few she liked and went up to the cashier to buy them. She walked out of the shop heading to another to buy some training clothes and shoes , she could wear to train her quirk. She then went another and another until she had her arms full bags .'These should be enough to last me a while'.She walked out of the mall and headed to a side walk. The school was quite close by so she decided to walk. The entire way she thought of her old life and how everything was so different, she still wasn't use to it all. And she thought of what her future would be like. She was so unsure with everything in her life. She felt as if no one would understand her situation let alone that she could talk to anyone about it. Her father she wasn't close enough to ,her classmates they didn't have any time and she felt like she couldn't go to them either. She was close with no one in this world . No friends ,no family , no one that she truly cared about. Yes she would protect her classmates but it wasn't the same thing as when she was in her home world. In this moment she truly missed her best friend ,Natsumi who she would talk to for hours on the phone. No matter the situation they were in they would always laugh together and keep each other happy .She also missed her parents advice and her talks with the rest of her family. She was truly alone. Katsumi walked through the school gates and towards the dormitories .She struggled to open the door but eventually opened it. She walked in to complete silence. Which wasn't anything new. She walked to her room and put the bags of clothes on her bed. She began to unpack them all and place them in her closet. She also bought one book . She had read it many times back in her world and wanted something that reminded her of home .She still remembered how her parents gave it to her as a gift for her thirteenth birthday. She smiled a bit as she put it down on her table .once she was done unpacking she headed down stairs to eat. She put bread in the toaster and waited for it to be ready before she smeared it with butter and jam .She ate it as she rested on the counter .It felt as if hours went by as she just stared at faucet that dripped. She stood up straight and began to wash her dishes. She then took a glass and filled it up with water so that she can drink it. She played with the water in the glass and thought about having a quirk that could move water. And how cool it would be to have one. And as if on it's own the water began to lift and move around in the air. 'what ?! Am I doing this ?!' she thought and decided to test her theory by moving her hand. The water moved along with her motions like a beautiful snake. 'how am I doing this ?! I didn't touch anyone at the mall ! Right ? But then how ?' and then just as quickly when began it was gone and had fallen onto the floor .'what just happened ?' she cleaned the spilled water up so that no one could slip and fall .'did I really do this on my own ?'
