Finishing a project

Two full weeks have passed since the time we hunted that soul beast, this time was truly fruitful in my endeavours. Right now I'm just doing the finishing touches and it's going to be done, you might be wondering what am I doing right now. Armour of course! This soul beast was perfect for it.

Snakes after all have quite strong bones, and this beasts scales were also durable. So this whole 2 weeks were spent crafting this, well I did made one serving of the "elixir" for the team to use but that was it, I can only do one more with it and I'm saving it for when I breakthrough to the next rank.

Making this thing was incredibly fun, I actually used up a lot of the materials for trial and error. I even had to buy more guides for a mecha maker and designer, and it cost me half of my points, but I did reach rank 4 in both of them thanks to this little project. They would also be able to support me up to rank 6 and better than a teacher so that's good at least.

I even went up to pick up some basics of basics in blacksmithing. It isn't even from the system just the blacksmiths here in the village, and no I wasn't hammering anything I just learned up a bit how they manufacture things.

It was obviously to make making this easier, I didn't have to learn how to refine metals seeing as this isn't metal, how should I say it. This armour is more like the dragon armour form soul land 4 combined with battle armour, though more in the direction of the dragon armour.

It took me quite a while to think of what to do I mean I'd rather not only use the scales or the bones, Ideally I'd like them combined that would be the best after all. In the end I figured in the areas that need more movement I would use only scales, on most of the body only bones, and on areas that would be most likely to hit both of them.

So for example the area of my armpits are only scales, the sides of my body would be only bone, and the area like in front of my heart is covered by both, my shoulders are also only bones though. Most of the connections are made using scales.

But there was also quite a bit of a problem because of how the bones were structured I obviously had to modify them quite a bit, so considering I have a gem that amplifies water element and things derived from it just to a weaker extent, I took half of it and used it to spew things together, they also kind of work like makeshift soul circuits seeing as I didn't have so much resources to work with.

I also had to find a way for it to somehow amplify my spiritual power, or just help me better manage it, so I made a helmet as well, It's more of a diadem though. The only thing I had that could be close somewhat to that was that gem from it.

So as a person who was quite hooked on this idea and was already too far to back down I took 90% of the half, and melted the gem into the bone, I wanted it to look quite lavish. So I coloured all of it to that of the ocean. I also tried to make it look like made out of gems, as best as I could, which it technically partially is.

It's basically circular, its only half of the circle, it's covered a bit in the snakes scales that I made to look like gems, and parts of the scales and bones face outwards a bit like spikes, that I made to look extra pretty. I'm quite satisfied with it, it's spiritual power enhancing abilities may leave a lot to wish for but it's the best I could do with my available resources.

Now onto the armour itself, I decided that leaving the last bit of crystal I guess if we took all of it into consideration that would be 5 percent of it, would be quite a waste so I just put it in the armour where my sternum bone would be, Well it also serves a practical purpose of enhancing even further, and since it isn't in any way modified the amplification is boosted quite greatly from my original design.

The armour looks kind of similar to a vest, but I made it look a bit layered, all of it is coloured in deep blue as well, it's a water themed one after all, have to keep this kind of thing in mind. My shoulder guards also aren't anything to stand out, overall I made to be quite close to my body, nothing is over the top big, Well that's pretty much it for everything regarding my armour.

Oh right I guess I haven't mention how strong it is, well it provides enhancements of a one word battle armour at most and a very ordinary one at that, nothing as strong as let's say Wulin and the teams 2 metal alloy battle armour. It does however have the advantage of being able to be used with battle armour and can fuse with my body. It's precisely what I'm going to attempt right now, after all soon it's time to get another soul ring.

As for what it buffs well it provides a decent enough overall buff to my physical abilities and spiritual power, a minor enhancement to water based abilities and a pretty great for a one word battle armour level enhancement to water element.

Well the time to do the deed is now, I just finished making my finishing touches to the armour, right now it lays before me on my bed ready to be worn by me, I guess it's now or never. I'm quite worried it will hurt.

I bring my left hand to the left hand piece of the armour and start circulating my soul power, like it comes alive it gets drawn to me like magnet. It quickly donned itself onto my hand, and one by one the pieces came to me.

It was a wonderful feeling the enhancements brought by it truly are real, the feeling of strength overcoming me was wonderful, until that is when it started to fuse with my body.

Cai:"Agh"

I grab my head with both of my hands, the pain on the rest of my body is quite bearable nothing much to me, but the head piece it hurts quite horribly, like the worst headache you could imagine. I had to prevail however, all of the body refinement pain I came through before was much wars than what I am going through right now.

After 10 minutes of struggling the pain finally stopped, I was struggling for breath but other than that everything was okay, my eyes were bloodshot though and there was a bit of drool coming from my lips, I wiped it away as soon as I noticed it.

Everything seems to have went good and the armour successfully fused with my body, great it will surely be a great tool to me, I have to say I'm happy with the result. Tomorrow however the moment where it will shine will come.

Well here it is this is what I planned to do with the soul beasts corpse, I guess it was a bit obvious but I like it nonetheless, the moment where this arc will end will soon come, I have only a few things more planned for it and afterwards the mc will head onto his next destination, well that's it for today see you later.
